what kind of fabric or whatever would you use for printout belts so the belt isnt just paper and will last longer without good chances of ripping?

maybe use plastic, foam or rubber for the belt part then when you print out the plates for the belt print them out on sticker paper...Might work

what i do:
print the belt out on photo paper
cut the belt out
get an old black t-shirt
trace the belt out on the shirt
cut it out
now take the belt and cut out the center plates/ side plates
then glue it on the t shirt
and if you want, you can take one end of the belt and cut a small hole so the other end can go through it so its wearable (sp?)
hope i helped
