According to a former WWE employee on Reddit, who has been proven to have legitimate backstage sources, Elimination Chamber will be removed from the WWE's Pay-Per-View line up. Names in consideration for its replacement are currently Fast Lane and Fast Track.

Don't care for the names but if it means Elimination Chamber will be used different times of the year then thats fine by me, I always feel like Wrestlemania season is a bit too packed, Rumble match, Elimination Chamber (or 2) then Wrestlemania

Yay! Maybe now the Chamber match will be a surprise, not oh it's February, time for a chamber match! Fast Lane or Fast Track? How about No Way Out? Always liked No Way Out as the second event of the year.

Always hated that they would shoehorn six guys into the Chamber simply because it was February. It should be used when there is a need for it.
The Fast Lane/Fast Track names are TERRIBLE.

I think they might not be doing it because Brock Lesnar would have to compete in it to defend his title. Nowadays, it seems pointless.
And WTF is Fast Lane or Fast Track?

It was a stupid idea to make hiac and the ec their own pov gimmicks. It only watered down the matches and ruined the main reason for having these matches; to en feuds that have become even more than personal.
There was a time when HHH would do anything to get out of competing in a cell match. Today, we get Orton and Rollins smiling when they are put in the cell. Totally kills the matches gimmick.

Think of all the great PPV names they could use:
Fast Lane Fast Lane 2: Lost in New York Fast Lane 3: Back on Track Fast Lane 4:The Revenge of Kevin Thorn Fast Five Fast Six: Beware of Dog

If it means that Elimination Chamber will no longer be the gimmick of February I'm all for it.

Honestly, the WWE could benefit from not having a PPV in February. After the Royal Rumble, jump directly into the build towards WrestleMania. Maybe, the WWE could get more people to subscribe to the network and order it on PPV. I don't get excited to see a Elimination Chamber match like i did years ago. The novelty has worn off and it had diluted the concept. The WWE shouldn't bolt themselves to a particular month to have a Cell and Chamber match. Hell, only the first two chamber matches took place on a major PPV. Saving the Chamber and Cell for a major event can make those match types a big deal. Out of pure fantasy, i'd love to see the WWE build a really hot feud for the entire year, have teams of either four or five in a War Games-style match, and have that feud culminate in the Chamber.

No Elimination Chamber is good.
A PPV named Fast Lane or Fast Track is utter dogcrap.
