Oh man, I haven't thought about crafting barbed wire in a long time. The way I did it was to find a length of twisted wire (the one I got has 4 strands). I removed one of the strands and wrapped it around every few cms like barbs. You can have a look at www.angelfire.com/al2/Ianarchy/Barbedwire.htmlAlternately I suppose you could get a long strand of thin wire, twist 3 strands together and than wrap the barbs.
