| WWE NXT: Wednesday 19th February 2014 - Winter Park, FL - Full Sail University - Aired on WWE.com (#209) [#WWENXT] | COLD OPEN - The first thing we see is NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield in his office, as JBL talks about how in eight days time NXT makes history as the first live programming on the WWE Network with NXT ArRIVAL. Layfield said that the WWE Network special will take place on Thursday, February 27 - and from there onwards, NXT will air exclusively on the WWE Network moving to Thursday nights. Layfield said that in eight days time, the biggest night in the history of NXT will be on the line for the many subscribers to witness and see some of the best wrestling in the world today. Layfield said that he was a proud General Manager and that he doesn't think for a second that he will not be proud next Thursday night when NXT ArRIVAL goes off the air. (0:01) | INTRODUCTION - The opening graphic aired, introducing this week's edition of NXT featuring WWE Superstars of the past and present. Following this came a video package revisiting the tense confrontation between NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas and challenger Kassius Ohno, as moderated by Michael Cole. Dallas vowed to end the career of Kassius next Thursday at NXT ArRIVAL, as Ohno told Bo he wanted to give the NXT Heavweight Championship and NXT as a whole a new meaning. Bo walked off set, as Kassius vowed to end the reign of Bo Dallas. The opening video package for NXT aired, and we went to the Full Sail University for the final episode of NXT before NXT ArRIVAL, live on the WWE Network next Thursday night! Tom Philips, Renee Young and Jason Albert welcomed us to the show as they touted this hour of NXT set to feature a massive six-man tag team main event with NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas teaming up with unlikely teammates the Ascension to take on Kassius Ohno and the NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves; but also, Charlotte will take on her ex best friend Bayley; Leo Kruger in action, plus more on this penultimate night of NXT before ArRIVAL. (0:03) | "IT'S ALL ON ZAYN" - To kick things off right away, the theme of the 'Swiss Superman' hit, and out came WWE Superstar Antonio Cesaro to boos from the Full Sail University crowd. Cesaro did not look happy, understandable after his rival Sami Zayn had managed to use reverse psychology to secure a rematch with him at NXT ArRIVAL a few weeks back. Antonio immediately took the microphone from ring announcer Eden, as Cesaro stated how annoyed he was that Sami Zayn had to stoop to a new low two weeks ago when he tricked him into one more match. Cesaro talked about how he has said it before that he is better than Zayn in the ring, because Sami lacks what it takes to get the job done and be a true Superstar. Cesaro said Zayn wants nothing more than to gain his respect, but what Sami Zayn should be done is gaining some self respect. He commented on Zayn trying to do whatever it took to get this match, but what happens when Sami Zayn once again loses to Cesaro and has to try and hide the shame and humility he received after losing to someone of the 'Swiss Superman's caliber not once, not twice, but three consecutive times! Cesaro said he wanted Sami Zayn to know that what happens next week to Sami Zayn is his doing - what happens to Sami Zayn after next week, is nothing to do with Antonio Cesaro - that it's all on the Syrian-Canadian. Cesaro received further boos as the 'Swiss Superman' then headed for the back.
(0:06) | CHARLOTTE vs BAYLEY A battle between two former friends, Charlotte and Bayley had gone through the WWE Performance Center together to get to NXT in the first place. The daughter of Hall of Famer and sixteen-time World Heavyweight Champion 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair was now following in suit of her father by stabbing friends in the back to get ahead. Charlotte and Bayley teamed together in their first appearances in NXT, but after Charlotte was taken out with an injury and the childlike Bayley had to fend for herself, it seemed like Charlotte had developed some jealousy with Bayley getting a match with current WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee, challenged Paige among other luxuries - and when Charlotte returned last month, she started by turning her back on Bayley to join the BFFs. In this match the North Carolinian was accompanied by Sasha Banks whilst Bayley fended for herself, and she immediately started things off by tackling Charlotte and pounding away at Charlotte, Bayley trying to get some serious payback against her former friend just for Charlotte to cower away to the ringside area. Bayley didn't care though and arguably made a rookie mistake when she tackled Charlotte and Sasha Banks at ringside as they talked strategy, Bayley diving off the apron onto them and pounding into Charlotte some more, then proceeding to bang the BFFs heads together! The NXT fans chanted Bayley's name, as she got back into the ring under referee Drake Wuertz's instructions, and Charlotte hesitantly got back into the ring. The self-proclaimed 'Genetically Supreme Diva' got the better of Bayley here, Charlotte kicking Bayley low and targeting the braced knee of her fun-loving former friend, the blonde then slamming Bayley's head into the canvas and kicking her in the back to boos; Charlotte telling Bayley than she was better than her.
Charlotte continued to shove Bayley down with her boot before picking up the leg and dropping her leg over it - further applying the pressure by pulling away at it. The 'Genetically Supreme Diva' further stomped away at it before she made a rookie mistake of her own and gloated to the NXT fans, which caused Bayley to get back into the game by rolling Charlotte up for two before nailing the daughter of Ric Flair with a back elbow! Bayley slowly tried to get back into this match, as she limped to her feet, then going back after Charlotte with multiple shots to the face! Bayley wanted to do some serious harm to Charlotte once again, before trying to pick Charlotte up and give her the Belly-to-Bayley suplex just for Charlotte to kick the back leg of Bayley out from under her! Bayley fell down, and Charlotte laid the leg of her former friend out and stomped away at it relentlessly causing Bayley to groan in pain! The blonde had a look of disgust on her face at Bayley, as she then locked in the Figure-Four Leglock to some wooos, Charlotte wrenching on the back leg as Bayley screeched out in undeniable pain! Charlotte wrenched more and more, using her long legs to stretch and apply even more pressure - and with that referee Drake Wuertz just had to call the bell to stop the match in 6:35. WINNER, BY FORFEIT: CHARLOTTE (**1/4)
The NXT Universe booed loudly as Charlotte refused to release the Figure-Four Leglock on Bayley, and Bayley continued to scream out in pain. Charlotte shook her head as the referee tried to tell her to release the hold, and just like that Sasha Banks stomped away on the bad knee whilst Bayley was in the hold! Charlotte released the hold and stood tall over Bayley with her fellow BFF, the duo leaving, obviously proud of themselves, as the athletic trainer came down to the ring to try and attend to an obviously injured Bayley. Bayley was helped out of the ring and up the rampway by the trainer, as she continued to cry in pain from the work done to her leg. The NXT Universe applauded her as she limped up the rampway, arms around the referee and trainer - hopefully not sidelined by this.
(0:16) | THE WWE NETWORK IS COMING! - A video package aired promoting the official launch date of the WWE Network. Available on personal computers, the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Smart Phones and Smart TVs; the Network will be a huge happening with 3000 3000 hours worth of video footage from their extensive library - original content such as WWE's Legends House, WWE Main Event and WWE NXT; documentaries such as the Monday Night War, Countdown and WrestleMania Rewind - and it's all available when the WWE Network launches in 33 days! The WWE Network will launch this Monday night after RAW goes off the air on February 24! (0:17) | THINGS LOOK BAD FOR BAYLEY - In the backstage area, the referee and the athletic trainer helped Bayley as she was now crying from the pain done to her leg at the hands of the BFFs. Bayley was helped to a parked ambulance, where she was to be taken away and checked on as a result of the injuries done, perhaps a torn ligament as a result of the Figure-Four Leglock at the hands of Charlotte.
(0:18) | THE HACKENSACK STUD RETURNS - In a pre-taped video, we went to the WWE Performance Center where Colin Cassady was shown with a seated Enzo Amore, who was apparently gearing up for his first training session after his leg injury sidelined him four months ago. 'Big Cass' asked Enzo if he was ready, as Enzo comically revealed a leopard print bandage on his knee, over the top of his training pants. Cass told Enzo that he was hot. Amore told Cass that he was hot. Enzo told Cassady that he couldn't believe that a shmuck like the goofball with the phone, Tyler Breeze could get the better of them. Cassady agreed, stating that it was stupid. Cass talked about how he's got Enzo's back from here on out. Enzo then told Cass that he wasn't a child, that he could handle himself (at the same time unknowingly picking up a deodorant can instead of a water bottle from beside him) even if it meant guarding himself with a crowbar or a cool weapon. Cass snatched the deodorant can from Enzo and tossed it away, telling Enzo that he couldn't look after himself. Colin Cassady told Enzo that he knows how to break Tyler Breeze - and that at NXT ArRIVAL, he's going to do that, and he's going to get revenge and be done with this whole thing.
(0:20) | WHO GAVE THIS GUY A MIC? - We returned to the Full Sail University where recurring NXT Superstar Danny Burch from the Performance Center was stood in the ring. Burch was getting ready for action tonight when he suddenly decided to take a microphone and state that he had something to say before this match-up with an undefeated match. Danny spoke with his thick British accent, talking about how he is one of the toughest superstars to walk out of England and come to conquer the WWE. Burch said that he's been all across Europe, and he has to say he hates Florida. The NXT Universe booed, as he talked about how his opponent Baron Corbin is a man he's had to train with in the Performance Center - and that Baron is the wimpiest man to come out of that place! Danny made a claim that he was much more worthy of NXT's time than the undefeated 'Enigma' Baron Corbin! Thankfully, the theme of Baron hit bringing out the newcomer to NXT for the third match of his career.
(0:21) | BARON CORBIN def. DANNY BURCH - After the comments and claims made by the British brawler Danny Burch, Baron Corbin was now here and obviously not phased by the comments of his former fellow Performance Center attendee. Burch immediately started off trying to brawl with Baron Corbin, as the 'Enigma' fired back in addition. Burch caught Corbin with a big lariat sending the undefeated rookie to the canvas, but when Danny covered Corbin managed to storm out at two defiantly! Corbin immediately rose to one knee, as Burch tried to go for Baron who caught the Brit with one hand, bringing him up and slamming him down with the End of Days toss-up flatliner, getting the three count in approximately 0:49! (n/a)
The fans in the NXT Arena cheered loudly as the 'Enigma' remained undefeated! Baron Corbin's hand was raised in victory to loud cheers as Danny Burch was down and unconscious from the devastating and amazing End of Days finisher of Baron, the British brute unable to back up his words here on NXT tonight.
(0:23) | NXT IS MOVING TO THURSDAYS! - A video package aired, as it previewed the superstars of NXT. It advertised the fact that after next Thursday's NXT ArRIVAL special on the WWE Network, not only would NXT be moving to the WWE Network permanently, but that it would be moving from Wednesdays to Thursdays! Join the NXT Generation, subscribe to the WWE Network.
(0:23) | BOUND TO GET A WIN - In the backstage area, Devin Taylor was standing by with Calgary Dungeon graduate Tyson Kidd, as Kidd was shown not looking extremely happy. Devin asked Tyson why he called for this interview, to which Tyson explained that he has been under fire recently by Leo Kruger when it comes to why he hasn't been winning matches. Kidd said that the last time he won a match was on October 23 when he defeated Bull Dempsey, and he doesn't understand why he can't seem to muster up another win. Tyson said with that done, he's been working really hard behind the scenes, training and working out every single day at the WWE Performance Center with the intentions of getting a win: which is why next Thursday at NXT ArRIVAL, he is calling out Leo Kruger to a one-on-one match. Kidd told Devin that he will get the win he deserves, and that in the meanwhile, he will make the South African look like an absolute moron! A motivated Tyson Kidd proceeded to leave, all hyped up for next week's NXT ArRIVAL.
(0:24) | A BATTLE OF WIT - We returned to the Full Sail University, where the theme of Sami Zayn hit, the NXT Universe lighting up in delight as Sami Zayn arrived on the rampway, emerging down the rampway en route to the ring dressed not to compete but instead to talk. Zayn climbed into the ring all full of energy tonight, as he took a microphone from the ring announcer Eden. Sami began to talk, referring to Antonio Cesaro earlier tonight getting on the microphone unannounced and trying to run him down and hype him up: but what Cesaro didn't know apparently was that he was already in the building, and he was listening to every word. Zayn talked about being discontent with not having Cesaro's respect, and that it's not about Antonio talking behind his back as if he was nobody, but instead to fuel his own pride. Sami reiterated from several weeks ago that he needs to beat Cesaro to strive as an NXT and eventual WWE Superstar - because he owes it to himself. Zayn said that to be the best he has to beat the best, and to beat the best he's going to do something else in the process and beat the respect he deserves out of the 'Swiss Superman'! The NXT Universe cheered loudly as Sami told Cesaro that they could do this next Thursday at NXT ArRIVAL...or they could do it right here and now! The fans cheered as Sami anticipated the arrival of Cesaro...for moments upon moments...and then out came Antonio Cesaro! Cesaro took off his blazer and headed down the rampway for the ring to meet a very eager and ready Sami Zayn...before shaking it off and doing a U-turn! Cesaro told Sami that he'd see him at ArRIVAL, a big smirk on his face...a visible, disrespectful slap in the face to Sami Zayn! Zayn looked angry, but the hard facts were that now Sami Zayn would have to wait eight more days for what could be the biggest night of his career!
(0:28) | THREE WOMEN. ONE TITLE - A video package aired anticipating the upcoming triple threat bout for the NXT Women's Championship next week at NXT ArRIVAL. It started back on June 20, 2013 where the first NXT Women's Champion was crowned: the 'Anti-Diva' Paige making history by winning a tournament to crown the champion, last defeating her good friend Emma in a highly competitive final. Paige was touted as the best wrestler in the Divas division of NXT, but in clips of an interview with the 'Anti-Diva' she talked about having an arrow on her back because she looked different to the other Divas - detailing her trouble with Summer Rae and the BFFs ever since her debut on television. Paige talked about how she is not just an alternative Diva - but she is the ultimate Diva. Meanwhile, the evolution of the dancer from Australia, Emma was shown, showing her evolving personality as she further pursued the NXT Divas Championship. Emma talked about how she has dreamed about being in the WWE ever since she was a young girl, and that it's her time to shine, and that nobody will get in her way. Clips showed of Emma competing against Paige for the NXT Women's Championship last month and Summer Rae's interference costing her the title, which segwayed into Summer commenting on how she is the 'First Lady of NXT' and if anybody needs that NXT Women's Championship, it's her. Summer said that NXT is her world, and in her world, Summer and the BFFs shine. Rae said that it's only a matter of time. The triple threat match to settle all takes place next Thursday at ArRIVAL! (0:30) | THE NEXT STOP IN THE ROAD - An advertisement aired, promoting the next blip on the radar en route to WrestleMania XXX: WWE Elimination Chamber, live on pay-per-view on this Sunday, February 23. Headlined by six superstars in the most feared match in the history of the WWE, Randy Orton defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro, Sheamus and Christian; 'The Animal' Batista battles the 'Mexican Aristocrat' Alberto Del Rio; plus, the big encounter between the Wyatt Family and the Shield. (0:31) | KASSIUS OHNO & NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS ADRIAN NEVILLE & COREY GRAVES vs NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BO DALLAS & THE ASCENSION This main event match was made last week by NXT General Manager John Bradshaw Layfield, and what a genius decision this was for JBL to make this match official for the final edition of NXT going into NXT ArRIVAL next Thursday night on the WWE Network. Two of the marquee matches positioned into one, this one was going to be an all-out war, and that it was sure to deliver. With the stakes high, this could have meant the final appearance of Kassius Ohno on NXT should he lose at ArRIVAL next week to Bo Dallas - meanwhile the Ascension aimed to get some further momentum against the seemingly cooperating NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves. Right off the bat, the bell sounded with all six men exchanging blows with their rival in the ring, as the match quickly filed out until Adrian Neville and Konnor were the final two in the ring - apparently making them the legal men. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' started off strong, catching Konnor off-guard with his fast feet kicking into the legs and gut of the Ascension powerhouse, Neville then springboarding off the middle rope into a moonsault - catching Konnor from there with a reverse DDT! Adrian covered looking for a quick finish to the match but Viktor managed to break the fall quickly. Neville tried to keep on the offense of Konnor as the other four men aligned in their separate corners, as Konnor shoved Adrian away just for Neville to come rebounding back with a front dropkick into the face of Konnor; Neville then tagging in his partner Corey Graves, the two working over the arm of Konnor as Graves applied a wristlock and Neville dropped an axe handle on it, as Graves continued with a second wristlock, just trying to keep the big man Konnor down - and that was fine until the Ascension member too offense blatantly by nailing the 'Savior of Misbehavior' in the jaw with an elbow before picking Graves up and forcing him down with a big fireman's carry slam, as Konnor now clutched the head of Corey, delivering multiple clubbing blows into his chest. Konnor tagged in Viktor as the Ascension were now in full force, as they picked Corey Graves up by an arm and a leg each, forcing him up into the air before slamming him back down spine-first across the canvas! Viktor growled and crawled beside the 'Savior of Misbehavior' as NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas watched on supporting the Ascension, as Kassius Ohno glared at Bo from his own corner, the 'Knockout Kid' eager to get his hands on Dallas.
Viktor continued to work on Graves as he dragged the 'Savior of Misbehavior' into the lower corner before running across the ring and going to nail the NXT Tag Team Champion with a big boot to the jaw, but Graves dodged it at the last minute and chop blocked the leg of the big man! Viktor groaned, as a groggy Corey Graves nailed Viktor with a second chop block, this time sending him down to the canvas! Graves crawled over to Adrian Neville, and Neville got the tag! Neville darted into the ring and caught Viktor with a hurricanrana, Neville following up with several forearms against the ropes before trying to whip Viktor across the ring, but Viktor overpowered Adrian and Neville went flying over the top rope to the apron, where Viktor dodged a clothesline from Neville, and a huge lariat caused Neville to flip right onto the ringside floor! The NXT Universe booed as Viktor gloated, Neville barely moving until the Ascension member left the ring to drag him back inside. Viktor covered, but Neville kicked out - at this point, the NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas wanted in, as Dallas got his wish in receiving the tag. Dallas got a lot of boos for this, as he smiled at the NXT Universe - and a rabid Kassius Ohno on the apron obviously really wanted the tag. Dallas stomped away at Neville relentlessly to more boos, as Bo then picked Neville up and connected with a twisting neckbreaker with a cravate applied just for Neville to kick out at two: Adrian showing a lot of resilience, as Dallas wanted to try and avenge the disqualification loss he suffered two weeks ago against Neville. Bo pounded into Neville to chants from the NXT Universe wanting Bo to go away, as Dallas simply soaked it all up, telling the fans that he loved them too, then stomping on the head of Neville some more. Bo tagged in Konnor again, as Konnor and Bo actually teamed up with ruthless stomps on Neville in the corner, before Dallas whipped Neville into Konnor for a big flapjack! Konnor covered again, but still Adrian would not go down for three. The Ascension then began to double team Adrian some more, dissecting the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' with body punches from the duo before Viktor attempted to go for the European Uppercut just for Neville to duck it, and in an act of desperation, Neville rolled backwards into a headscissors with his feet around Viktor's head - and Neville used his body weight to nail a tornado DDT on the Ascension member! Both legal men were down, and the Full Sail University crowd were getting rowdier and rowdier as both men crawled - and with that, Kassius Ohno tagged into the match for the first time...with Bo Dallas!
Dallas got into the ring and charged before realizing who he was in the ring with, and Kassius Ohno dove at Bo Dallas sending him into the corner; Kassius punching Konnor on the apron before forearming the NXT Heavyweight Champion numerous times into the face of the arrogant Bo Dallas! The 'Knockout Kid' was proving good to his word as Dallas tried to fight his way out of the corner, trying to whip Kassius into the ropes just for Ohno to respond with a whip of his own attempting to rebound Dallas into the discus KO elbow - but Dallas decided to roll out of the ring! Bo went walking around at ringside looking for a breather, and Corey Graves started to stalk Bo and attack him at ringside but Konnor tackled Graves instead! Konnor and Graves traded blows as Bo Dallas tried to gain a breather when Kassius suddenly climbed onto the top rope and dove off with a dive onto all of the other superstars! The NXT Universe cheered loudly to a 'this is awesome' chant as Viktor joined the fray with five NXT superstars at ringside: and a refreshed Adrian Neville suddenly came to life as the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' darted across the ring and sprung onto the top rope, connecting with a corkscrew plancha over the top onto all of the other superstars in this match! All men in this match were down on the rampway and ringside area; referee Shawn Bennett counting Kassius and Bo out until Dallas slumped under the ropes emerging from the ruckus at ringside. Kassius Ohno slowly followed as Bo Dallas tried to immediately go for the Bo Dazzler which could finish Kassius' career next week in two falls at least - but the 'Knockout Kid' blocked it and rolled out of it, instead tripping Dallas and applying the Hangman's Clutch! Bo had nowhere to go, but Konnor and Viktor broke the hold before the NXT Heavyweight Champion could tap. The Ascension attempted to connect with the Fall of Man on Kassius Ohno, but Corey Graves slipped into the ring and nailed Konnor with the fireman's carry backbreaker! Graves stood over Konnor, when Viktor struck Graves with the European uppercut! Immediately after this came Adrian Neville with a springboard dragonrana on Viktor! Neville was still groggy from the earlier beatdown however, and suddenly fell to a step up bulldog from the NXT Heavyweight Champion! Bo gloated over the ruckus of the NXT Tag Team Champions and the Ascension before Kassius Ohno tried to come from behind with the KO discus elbow just for Dallas to duck it, Dallas attempting the Bo-Dazzler one more time, but Ohno reversed it and the KO elbow knocked out Dallas for the final count at 17:23! WINNERS: KASSIUS OHNO & NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS ADRIAN NEVILLE & COREY GRAVES (***3/4)
The NXT Universe was exploding with 'this is awesome' chants and 'NXT chants, as Kassius Ohno's hand was raised high in victory over an unconscious NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas: perhaps a sign of things to come next Thursday at NXT ArRIVAL in two out of three falls - Ohno's career on the line for a shot at the gold! Adrian Neville and Corey Graves, the NXT Tag Team Champions joined Ohno in victory, as they seemed to be getting along just fine at least for now as Konnor and Viktor of the Ascension knelt on the rampway simply watching Neville and Graves. Ohno continued to celebrate alongside Neville and Graves in the ring as we faded. (0:53) | THE ARRIVAL IS NEXT WEEK! - One final video package aired, previewing next week's NXT ArRIVAL show, exclusive and live on the WWE Network at 7/8 CT. Headlined by Kassius Ohno challenging Bo Dallas with his career on the line for a shot at the NXT Heavyweight Championship in a two out of three falls match; Sami Zayn getting one more chance to face Antonio Cesaro in Zayn vs Cesaro IV; the Ascension challenging Adrian Neville and Corey Graves for the NXT Tag Team Championships; and Paige defending the NXT Women's Championship against Summer Rae and Emma; next Thursday on the Network was sure to be history in the making: especially with an All-Star pre-show panel consisting of Paul Heyman, Kevin Nash and Renee Young and special appearances from John Cena and the 'Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels. NXT went off the air. (0:55) | | WWE NXT: 02/19/2014 RESULTS Kassius Ohno, Adrian Neville & Corey Graves def. Bo Dallas & The Ascension Baron Corbin def. Danny Burch Charlotte def. Bayley |

| WWE NXT ArRIVAL: Thursday 26th February 2014 - Winter Park, FL - Live on the WWE Network! (#210) [#NXTArRIVAL] | THE KICKOFF SHOW - As fans lined up to get into the Full Sail University for the NXT live special half an hour before bell-time, outside of the Full Sail University was the Kickoff show panel! Renee Young moderated as she was joined by the self-proclaimed greatest manager in WWE history Paul Heyman, former WWE and WCW Champion Kevin Nash, and WWE Hall of Famer Bret 'Hitman' Hart. The four discussed the line-up of tonight's big show, talking about this as a historic event in the fact that this is the first live programme available on the WWE Network, with so much more history to be made tonight as the stars of tomorrow align tonight for a mammoth match-up. Paul Heyman strongly advocated Antonio Cesaro, calling the 'Swiss Superman' somebody that he would love to manage one day before also believing that Kassius Ohno has his work cut out for him tonight in two out of three falls with Bo Dallas. On the contrary, Kevin Nash supported Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas, talking up Dallas' classic traits as a cowardly NXT Heavweight Champion. Nash strongly believed that tonight Zayn wouldn't make any mistakes and Bo would do whatever it took to retain the title and end Kassius Ohno's WWE tenure. Bret Hart was different in the sense that he wasn't able to choose between Ohno and Dallas but was supportive of fellow countryman Sami Zayn, who he believed was one of the greatest workhorses in the world of wrestling toda. He also offered an insight to the NXT Women's Championship match, commenting on Emma's fire fueling her to claim the title at long last tonight - though the 'Hitman' also praised Paige for her work ethic, associating her with his family heritage in the business. Renee touted the women of NXT as being something nobody has ever witnessed like them before, calling them the next generation of WWE Divas and how they may be dark horses to steal the show tonight. Tom Philips was shown in the Social Media Center, as he read a selection of Tweets from the WWE Universe: and the reactions to several match-ups in addition to general anticipation for the upcoming supershow. The general consensus was that Bo Dallas would lose the NXT Heavyweight Championship to Kassius Ohno: but the reaction to who would win the fourth encounter between Sami Zayn and Antonio Cesaro was rather tied, creating a fascinating atmosphere for their bout tonight. In other news from the Kickoff show, the half hour was comprised of video packages promoting the NXT Heavweight Championship, NXT Tag Team Championship and triple threat NXT Women's Championship matches set for tonight - in addition to showing several NXT trainees and Superstars offering their take into who will win the fourth encounter between Sami Zayn and Antonio Cesaro. The announcers noted that Zayn and Cesaro will kick off the show tonight. The NXT ArRIVAL Kickoff show then went off the air with one final advertisement for NXT ArRIVAL, live on the WWE Network in just a few moments. (n/a) | NXT ArRIVAL - Live from the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida - THE FUTURE IS NOW! | COLD OPEN - The WWE opening graphic aired, viewing Superstars of the past and present. Following this, we went to the Full Sail University where ominous music was playing, and there was no light to be seen besides a few lit up mobile phone screens in the stands. Suddenly, a voice was heard: "Are you ready?" The NXT Universe cheered upon realizing who it was, as a spotlight then appeared in the centre of the ring revealing the Chief Operating Officer of the WWE, Triple H! "NXT Universe, are you ready!?" The former eleven time World Heavyweight Champion repeated as he continued to hype up the Winter Park crowd. 'The Game', silhouetted by the bright white light shining down over him concluded: "With the hundreds in attendance, and the thousands watching around the world live on the WWE Network...ladies and gentlemen, this is NXT ArRIVAL!" Hunter shouted, and with that lasers went off all around the University, flashing all different colors as the lights eventually went up, revealing the updated set-up design for this special show: more lights, more set pieces, even a mini-tron on the ring apron. Triple H smiled as the fans in the sold-out Full Sail University all chanted "NXT! NXT! NXT!"
(0:02) | INTRODUCTION - The brand new opening video package for NXT ArRIVAL aired, set to a song entitled 'Roar of the Crowd'. It featured clips of various top tier NXT Superstars including NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas, Kassius Ohno, Sami Zayn, NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves, the Ascension, NXT Women's Champion Paige and Emma in action. We then cut to the Full Sail University again as the NXT Universe were still going crazy for the start of something special: NXT ArRIVAL. "Welcome to NXT ArRIVAL!" bellowed Byron Saxton, as he introduced the announce team for the evening consisting of Saxton, Jason Albert and returning from a brief hiatus from on-air commentary, William Regal. The trio hyped up the next two hours of NXT ArRIVAL, boasting a big line-up tonight. "Tonight we're going to see history being made, these are the stars of tomorrow - and this is NXT!"
(0:03) | THE FOURTH ENCOUNTER [#ZaynVsCesaro]ANTONIO CESARO vs SAMI ZAYN Nine months after their first encounter and the debut of Sami Zayn in NXT, it was time for potentially the biggest match of Zayn's career - and a proving ground for Antonio Cesaro. After weeks upon weeks of Sami Zayn trying to get one more match out of the 'Swiss Superman', Antonio Cesaro was finally tricked by reverse psychology and in an aggressive sign of weakness, Cesaro agreed to give Sami his match. And here we are now: Zayn seeking the respect of Cesaro and aiming to defeat him to continue his quest in NXT: Zayn also aspiring to become the NXT Heavyweight Champion by the year's end made him appear even more ambitious. Going into the match, Antonio Cesaro entered first to his Real Americans theme music, as Cesaro appeared confidence going through the motions prepared for Sami Zayn's entrance: who appeared to be extremely energetic going into this match. On his way to the ring, William Regal commented on his hiatus: "Sami Zayn tonight may be in deep waters. He has to watch out for Antonio Cesaro because he can be incredibly dangerous: I know from experience. This is my first night on the job after my match with him a few months ago purely because Cesaro made me into a trainwreck. And Zayn may be confident now, but it's a whole different animal to be in there with a man of Cesaro's caliber." Zayn was ready to go, as the two came face to face with Cesaro pushing Zayn away - referee Drake Wuertz bound to have his work cut out for him in the fourth encounter between the two. The bell sounded, and Cesaro and Zayn locked up with Zayn quickly arm dragging Cesaro across the ring in an initial boost of energy. Zayn grinned as Cesaro nodded, the two going to lock up again as Cesaro got behind Zayn and delivered a waistlock takedown, which Zayn managed to turn into a wristlock which Sami twisted numerous times, transitioning into a backdrop with the wrist beneath him: as Cesaro twisted out of the wristlock and overpowered Zayn pinning his shoulders to the mat for a two count - and another one. Zayn soon twisted out of it and brought the duo to their feet, where Zayn tugged on the twisted arms of Cesaro wrapped around Sami and sent Cesaro sailing through the ropes to the outside - and Sami quick like a flash connected with a suicide dive through the ropes, taking the Swiss man down! Zayn darted back inside of the ring as the NXT Universe cheered Zayn; Cesaro losing his temper after appearing unphased by the challenger going into this high-stakes match.
"I think Antonio Cesaro was a little too cocky going into this one" commented Byron, as Antonio Cesaro slowly got onto the apron and hesitantly climbed into the ring as Sami Zayn watched on, the two ready to lock up again. This time Cesaro tried to go for the test of strength Greco-Roman knuckle lock - which Cesaro very easily began to overpower. Zayn's spine started to bend backwards before he twisted around, trying to deliver a sidewalk slam onto Cesaro just for Cesaro to block with a stiff knee to the face. "Never accept a challenge from Cesaro in test of strength, the man has strength unmatched by anyone today in the WWE" Albert noted, as Cesaro continued to take control of Zayn, delivering several forearms into the temple before Sami ducked one and attempted a dropkick on Cesaro just for the Swissman to block it and applied another big forearm into the forehead of Zayn as he tried to get back up. Cesaro was in control of Zayn as Sami tried to punch his way back up to his feet but Cesaro once again connected with his bare knee striking Zayn in the gut. "These two men have fought so many times outside of the WWE around the world, but they have not fought on a platform like they have right here at NXT ArRIVAL" added Regal as Cesaro applied a cravate on Sami, the NXT crowd chanting 'Sami' as Zayn tried to ply the arms from around his head just for Cesaro to stomp on the back of his leg. Cesaro stomped on the leg again as he revealed the cravate; Antonio blocking a third and tried to go for an exploder suplex just for Cesaro to block him off with a stiff headbutt. Cesaro connected with a second as Zayn was stunned. The former United States Champion connected with a gutwrench suplex, covering Zayn for two. Antonio tried to continue his work over Zayn with a sleeper hold, but Zayn would not sit still for long and Cesaro switched things up, ducking a right hand from his adversary and instead connecting with a release German suplex! The pro-Zayn crowd booed as Cesaro had a grin on his face, then mouthing to Zayn "you are not as great as I am!". Cesaro may have ducked too low at this point however, as Sami slapped Antonio across the face causing Cesaro to start with the European uppercuts, connecting with one, but a second one was blocked and Zayn returned the favor with a forearm of his own! Cesaro locked in a hammerlock on Sami but Sami broke out of it and went up to the top rope for the springboard armdrag on Cesaro but the pure strength of the 'Swiss Superman' dragged Cesaro down right into another European uppercut! "It's feeding time for the shark" noted Byron, as Sami seemingly harmed his arm in that exchange.
The NXT Universe chanted Sami's name some more as Cesaro made a point of pinpointing the arm of Zayn, trying to weaken it with multiple stomps on it before picking him up by the arm and using the raw strength of the European to hyperextend it. Sami was trying everything to keep in this match, as not once, twice but three times had Sami attempted to gain control just for the man from Switzerland to come back stronger. "Right now Sami Zayn has to think whether this all worth it for respect from a world class limb manipulator like Cesaro", remarked William Regal on commentary. Cesaro hammerlocked the weakened arm of Zayn as he delivered three knees into the fold of the elbow, Sami meanwhile trying to scrap his way out of it by shaking: but Cesaro's strength was too strong and Cesaro applied more weight onto the limb. Antonio switched things up and locked in an armbar on Zayn, as the fans started to get louder and louder for Zayn to make a comeback: as Zayn struggled in the hold, he finally managed to roll out and smash Cesaro in the face with a knee! Zayn connected with a second one, clutching his arm and slowly getting back up to his feet, where Cesaro tried to toss up Zayn for a surprise uppercut, just for Zayn to reverse it with a dropkick into the chest sending Cesaro into the ropes! Sami quick to his feet, he whipped Cesaro off the ropes but Cesaro switched it, and Zayn slipped through Cesaro's legs, connecting with a leg lariat on the Real American for two! "Can Zayn withstand the work done to that arm though?" Regal questioned, as Sami slowly got to his feet again holding his arm; Antonio meanwhile shoving Zayn away getting to his feet; and Cesaro attempted to give Zayn a hip toss just for the Syrian-Canadian to land on his feet, picking Cesaro up and going for a tilt-a-whirl slam - Cesaro landing on his feet and a tilt-a-whirl attempt by Cesaro on Zayn: but he blocked it as well, an armdrag for Cesaro as he retreated to ringside for a second time in this match!
"Watch yourself, Sami" warned Regal as Sami sprung over the top rope onto the apron, kicking a pestering Cesaro away from his feet, then sprung onto the top rope with a springboard moonsault plancha onto Cesaro! Zayn landed on the rampway sat down, taking in the rush of the NXT Universe chanting 'this is awesome' at this match. "I think that Sami Zayn is starting to make a believer out of everybody, including Cesaro tonight!" blurted Albert among the ruckus. Referee Drake Wuertz was starting to count both men out, as Zayn decided to roll Cesaro back inside. Zayn went to go to the top rope, but Cesaro managed to cut him off with a big European uppercut to Sami. With Zayn perched on the top rope, Cesaro decided to go up to the second rope and connect with the super strong superplex of his - but after getting Zayn in the air for it, Sami fought out! Zayn landed on the turnbuckle still seated, as he then picked Cesaro up and connected with a superplex...head first onto the top turnbuckle! A spike brainbuster, a nod to his days on the independent scene as the fans exploded for this one! Zayn climbed into the ring quickly as Cesaro was down and out on the canvas; Sami hooking the legs for...two! Antonio wasn't done yet, despite what Sami had brought to the table. His arm weakened, he picked Cesaro up and attempted the exploder suplex, but the bad arm couldn't bring Sami to lift Antonio up. Cesaro capitalized, as he picked Zayn up and tossed him down onto the canvas, Cesaro trying to go for a Neutralizer but Sami got onto Cesaro's shoulders, then connecting with a sunset flip bomb on Cesaro, the shoulders down and the legs hooked but only for two once again! Sami was starting to get upset with Cesaro's resilience, and the entire building was shaking holding on to the potential of Zayn defeating Cesaro tonight! "It will take so much to take Cesaro down, and I think Zayn is starting to realize that now!" commented Byron, as Jason commented in response pondering: "So what WILL it take for Sami to put Cesaro down?" Sami appeared to be asking that same question, as Cesaro slowly used the ropes to climb back up - and Sami tried to go for the Helluva Kick just for Cesaro to block it by tossing Sami up and connecting with the toss-up European uppercut! Cesaro followed up with the double foot stomp, covering Sami but once again, only two for Sami Zayn! "Sami Zayn is opening so many eyes tonight, I think he's proved to everyone if not before, Sami Zayn has arrived, at NXT ArRIVAL!" shouted Regal, as Cesaro cranked his neck preparing for the Neutralizer - Cesaro finally going to resort to the Frank Gotch-patented piledriver/facebuster: but when he picked Sami up, Sami reversed it into a hurricanrana - then connecting with a Blue Thunder Bomb with the legs hooked for one, two, NO! "NXT! NXT! NXT!" chanted the fans, as Sami looked ready to go for another Helluva Kick, both men throwing their best at the other man: but when he charged at Cesaro, the European undercut Sami and rolled him up, Sami powering out at two, the force sending Cesaro into the corner - and Sami connected with the Helluva Kick! Cesaro was dazed on his knees, which allowed Zayn to connect with a reverse STO: and the Koji Clutch was applied! "Is this it!?" urged Albert, as Cesaro desperately tried to reach for the ropes - but after 20 seconds in the hold, he was forced to tap out in 19:23! WINNER: SAMI ZAYN (****1/2)
"He's done it! Sami Zayn has done it!" belted an ecstatic William Regal. Sami's music started to play as Zayn's hand was raised in victory, the NXT Universe clapping and applauding Zayn after a classic match-up to kick off NXT ArRIVAL. Zayn was emotional as he held his arm and slowly got to his feet, walking around to try and gain movement again after this gripping match. Replays of the key moments aired, including the spike brainbuster as we returned live to Zayn celebrating his big victory. Antonio Cesaro slowly regained his composure, as he suddenly got into Zayn's face; Zayn resembling a deer's face in headlights. "Oh no", urged Albert as Cesaro was seething after his loss tonight...but after a few moments Cesaro extended a hand to Zayn and Sami accepted it. Cesaro raised Zayn's hand in victory to an applause before the 'Swiss Superman' left, the NXT Universe continuing to applaud both men on their efforts. "Sami Zayn has finally gained the respect of Antonio Cesaro. What a match this has been" remarked Regal, as Sami was left in the ring to celebrate alone - visibly emotional after the overwhelming victory and the lengths it took him to get to this point. "It seems like Sami's eyes will be set on the winner of tonight's NXT Heavyweight Championship match for sure...let's not forget now though, we still have an action-packed card still to come tonight! ArRIVAL has only just began!" concluded Byron as Sami continued to celebrate.
( 0:28) | A LOOK AT THE NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - "Can I get some water? My throat's a little dry". The sound of an obnoxious NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas, as he was interviewed for a brief video package focused on Dallas' career so far in NXT. "I am the face of NXT, and I am the greatest Heavyweight Champion imaginable for NXT". "The whole locker room loves me". Clips played of Bo Dallas cheating to win the NXT Heavyweight Championship against Big E Langston last May; followed by his other cheap tactics to retain the title against superstars such as Leo Kruger, Konnor, Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville and Colin Cassady. "There is no better than Bo Dallas". "At NXT ArRIVAL, it is my aim to prove to the world that there is no better than Bo: not even Kassius Ohno. He may have wrestled around the world and trained all sorts of cool looking guys - but he isn't Bo. Wrestling is in my heritage - and tonight I'm proving that stepping into the ring with me is like playing with fire. Kassius Ohno's career is in my hands".
(0:30) | LEO KRUGER vs TYSON KIDD [#KiddVsKruger] The last time that Tyson Kidd won a match was in November - ever since then, the final graduate of the Hart Family Dungeon in Calgary has lost every single match he has been a part of. It was three weeks ago on NXT when the South-African bounty hunter Leo Kruger decided to call him out on this, which in turn caused Kidd to grow angry at Leo and call him out for this match made official, last week. Leo Kruger methodically made his way out to the ring first tonight, as the South-African crept out of the darkness on the rampway en route to the ring, dressed in a black vest and cargo pants. "We know almost nothing about this man, and that could be why Leo Kruger is the most fearsome man on the NXT roster" Byron analyzed, as Kruger crept up the steel steps and into the ring ready for this match. Out next came a motivated Tyson Kidd, the Canadian making a quick entrance to the ring as the Full Sail crowd were rooting for Kidd to pick up a win once again in NXT. "It is no word of a lie that Tyson is one of the hardest working technicians in the ring today, but he won't be going for submissions in this one: Tyson is motivated, he wants to win, and he's going to take out his losing streak frustrations on Leo Kruger tonight" added William Regal. Upon entering the ring, the bell sounded and the duo locked up; Tyson wearing lucky blue tonight notably in hopes of him winning this match. Kruger tried to use his size as an advantage, but Kidd managed to drag Kruger to the canvas, where Kidd rolled backwards and connected with a front dropkick into the face of the South-African! Kidd followed suit by bouncing off the ropes and connecting with a second dropkick on Kruger, as Tyson capitalized on the bigger man being down; proceeding to kick him in the chest one more time for good measure! "Tyson has got to be careful of Kruger though. Any time you're in the ring with Leo you have to be self aware because he is one of the most unpredictable superstars in NXT today" said Albert on commentary, and just like that, Kruger managed to cut Tyson off and slow him down with a Slice out of nowhere!
Kruger mocked Tyson as he paraded in the ring to the Full Sail crowd. Kruger delivered three or four haymakers on Kidd, but Tyson began to strike back, as he ducked another Slice attempt made by Kruger, leapfrogged another attempt as Kruger rebounded off the ropes - and then Tyson fought back with a roundhouse kick to the gut - followed up by an enzuigiri attempt just for Kruger to cut him off with the spinning spinebuster! Kruger had a malicious look on his face as he snarled, walking around the ring methodically stomping away at the body of Tyson. "And this is where it gets dangerous for Tyson..." said Byron as Kruger continued to stomp away at Kidd before ramming his forearm into the eyes and face of Tyson, jamming it in and refusing to release it. Kruger yelled at Tyson "you can't win the big one, Tyson. You'll never be a friend of Leo Kruger!" the bounty hunter maniacally laughed when Kidd fired back again with a drop toe hold - as the Canadian proceeded to lock on a side-headlock, to which Kruger shoved off; Kruger attempting to follow and go for Kruger's End, but Tyson broke free and got behind going for a rolling cradle cover - but Leo managed to kick out at two: Tyson Kidd then springboarding off of the second rope and attempting a tornado DDT, just for Kruger to shove Tyson off and attempt a snapmare driver, but Kidd slipped out of it and dropkicked Kruger into the ropes as Kidd rolled Kruger up for two: Leo rolling Tyson up with a handful of tights for the three at 6:28! WINNER: LEO KRUGER (**)
"Another loss for Tyson Kidd!" commented Byron Saxton as Leo Kruger rolled out of the ring to boos; the South-African with a sadistic grin on his face. "You've got to feel for Tyson Kidd. Losing to Leo Kruger now in an unfair way. Kruger has mugged Kidd out of victory" added William Regal as Tyson Kidd knelt up and watched on in frustration at Kruger, slamming his hands against the canvas. "You're a loser, Tyson!" laughed the South-African, as he backed up the rampway. Suddenly, the theme of the Legionnaires hit to boos, and out came Sylvester Lefort leading the way for Alexander Rusev and Aiden English, seemingly leading them down to the ring!
(0:38) | FORGET ABOUT US? - "Oh no..." were the words of Jason Albert, a big man in himself as Tyson Kidd was left in the ring on his knees as Sylvester Lefort led the Legionnaires down to the ring. Alexander Rusev and Aiden English both seemed quite angry, as Lefort had a grin on his face. "Hey hey hey, Tyson. Don't worry, we aren't here to make your day any worse...we're just here to ask you something", the Frenchman Lefort noted as he grinned upon climbing into the ring, Rusev and English behind him. Kidd looked on in bemusement as Lefort confronted him with a grin still on his face. "Tyson, we've been watching you. You've not been doing so good in the ranks here in NXT, have you? Well, Tyson Kidd, I was just wondering if you wanted to change your ways forever...do you want to become a Legionnaire?" asked sniveling Sylvester, a sly smile still on his face as Rusev and English stood in the background. Tyson looked around as NXT fans chanted "No! No! No!", the Canadian simply evaluating the Full Sail University for help making this decision. Kidd shook his head and refused to shake Lefort's hand, and with that Alexander Rusev charged Kidd! "I had a feeling this would happen", commented Byron as Kidd tried to fight off Rusev with several lefts and rights, but Aiden English came from behind, the 'Artiste' taking Tyson down and out with the Director's Cut! The cobra clutch slam had taken Kidd down and out, as the 'Bulgarian Brute' added insult to injury, locking the Canadian in the Accolade among boos from the NXT Universe. Lefort stood over as Rusev wrenched away at Tyson; Aiden English standing by. "You can't deny the Legionnaires, NXT Universe! We get our way, always! NXT tried to forget about us tonight, at NXT ArRIVAL! So we decided to make our own impact. We're here, and nothing is going to stop us!" spoke the French agent as Rusev refused to let go of the hold; Aiden English mocking Kidd in a big insult to Kidd. Finally, the Legionnaires left Kidd alone, as they left the ring as a cohesion among boos. "What does he mean?" pondered Byron.
(0:41) | A LOOK AT THE NUMBER ONE CONTENDER - "My entire life has been leading up to this point. It's do or die". The voice of a very serious, very determined number one contender to the NXT Heavyweight Championship. Video clips of Kassius Ohno in action on the independent circuit was shown, in addition to images of his career in Japan and in Ring of Honor. In a sit-down interview, Kassius talked about his past. "I've been around the world. I've fought all across the globe. I've done it all. But there's a few things I haven't done yet that I'll kick myself if I can't do. Become a WWE Superstar. Become a champion. Become respected in the big leagues". Clips of Kassius Ohno in the early days of NXT against superstars such as Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd and others aired, before flashing forward to Ohno defeating Luke Harper back in October to gain contention to the NXT title held by Bo Dallas. "I've tried before, and failed because of that little punk...but I'm not a quitter, and I never have been" said Kassius over the top of his title opportunity at Bo back in November; where Dallas escaped with the title after he had the help of the ropes as an assistance. "At NXT ArRIVAL, it's do or die for me. I either stay, and win the NXT Heavyweight Championship, or lose and leave NXT and never accomplish my destinies. But Bo Dallas can't run tonight: two out of three falls - Bo Dallas is in my way, and I'm going to knock him out."
(0:43) | THE WOMEN ARE THE FUTURE - Back live, the NXT announce team talked about the upcoming triple threat match for the NXT Women's Championship. "What we're about to see in just a few moments will be absolutely astonishing: we will bare witness to the resurgence of women's wrestling in the United States" spoke Byron Saxton. "I have trained with all three women since their first days in NXT, coaching them from their baby steps and now I'm about to see them all grown up as Divas on this historic stage" remarked William Regal. "It will be absolutely heartwrenching to watch, I assure you". The announce team then swung us to a video package displaying the background of this match.
"Ever since I came to NXT, there have been naysayers, there has been people that come up to me and said 'you're not a Diva'. They think just because I have black hair and I don't tan, and I don't like to wear colors that I'm not a Diva", the voice of NXT Women's Champion Paige, as she was jumped by Summer Rae back in the summer of 2012. "But what they don't realize is that what I lack in their conventional eyes of beauty, I make up for it in spirit - and my desire to be the best that the WWE and NXT have to offer", she concluded, as clips of her outstanding arsenal of moves in action were shown. They were concluded by Paige being handed the NXT Women's Championship by WWE COO Triple H on June 20, 2013 to become the first champion. "She's done it!" yelled commentator William Regal. "What a match this has been, this is what Divas are all about!" continued Byron Saxton as Paige hugged runner-up to the title, Emma.
"As disappointed as I felt on that night, I was happy. Happy because my best friend Paige was the new NXT Women's Champion. And also because I knew that I had arrived. I had made a statement that I was here to stay in NXT, and that the Divas division was going to be unmatched by any other wrestling in the world for as long as they were around" were the words of Emma, who we saw trying to win the NXT Women's Championship in that match. "But I've had enough of trying to steal the show, and back up my friend against her rivals - because for the first time in Emma's career. It's my time now, I am going to win this title and nothing is going to stop me anymore". Shots of Emma challenging Paige for the NXT Women's Championship last month were shown, with Emma closing in on winning the title just for Summer Rae and Sasha Banks to interfere ending the match prematurely. "The way I see it is that Paige definitely isn't deserving of that title. But neither is Emma. You see they don't have the qualities of me, Summer Rae. They don't even come close to me." were the comments of Summer Rae. "I've been here longer than Emma and Paige - meaning I have the most experience. And tonight will prove that I am the alpha. There is no better than Summer Rae". More clips aired showing the three Divas facing off, as the video package reached a conclusion.
(0:46) | NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - TRIPLE THREAT MATCH [#NXTDivas] SUMMER RAE vs EMMA vs PAIGE (c) It was time to see what these three Divas were all about, as Summer Rae's music hit first allowing for Summer to prance down the rampway to boos from the NXT Universe. "Here comes Summer. And you have to wonder about her: she's inserted herself in between Paige and Emma's professional rivalry: because she genuinely believes pretty makes for perfect. But tonight for Summer it's put up or shut up", stepped in Byron Saxton, explaining Summer's involvement. Clad in gold, Summer presented herself obnoxiously as she climbed into the ring showing off her 'assets' for the crowd to some applause. "She is a beautiful girl, but whether or not that means success in there with two other world-class Divas is another factor we need to consider", added Jason Albert as Summer awaited the arrival of her opponents. The theme of Emma played next, and out came the ever-dancing Australian, Emma to loud cheers and chants of her name. She clumsily danced down to the ring as she knew what was at stake tonight. "With Emma establishing a relationship with WWE Superstar Santino Marella, she knows that she may not remain on NXT for much longer before moving up to Monday Night RAW: Emma understands that for her, it's now or never to become the woman of NXT" commented an analyzing William Regal as Emma got into the ring and immediately faced off with Summer, only referee Shawn Bennett between them. And lastly, the brand new theme of the NXT Women's Champion hit bringing out the third and final competitor of this match; Paige making her way out to the appreciative NXT Arena. Paige removed her leather jacket to reveal the NXT gold around her waist as she walked down to the ring with a determined look on her face. "There's something about Paige. I think it's the fact that she has had wrestling in her blood, her heritage since before she was born. And I think Summer Rae in particular is denying that. She is one of the most amazing performers that I have ever seen in that ring" added Regal as Paige joined Summer and Emma in the ring.
The bell sounded to start the match, and with that Paige and Emma faced off with Summer, Rae ironically despite being a member of the BFFs now being the one at a number's game disadvantage! Paige and Emma closed in on Summer before she escaped to ringside, now allowing Paige and Emma to lock up - Paige with a knee to the gut as she delivered two more strikes to the gut before Emma broke free and clotheslined Paige down, Emma going for an early cover as an observant Summer slid back in to break up the count. Summer pulled Emma up by her hair, the 'First Lady of NXT' going for a hair-pull slam just for Emma to grab Summer by her hair, the Australian roping the BFF member in for a backslide just for Paige to intercept. "Each of these Divas have an equal advantage right now by my count, and I think that could make for a very competitive ground in this match" observed Byron as Paige picked Summer and Emma up, attempting to slam their heads into one another, but Summer and Emma formed a quick alliance, a double dropkick taking Paige down! Summer and Emma then went at it for themselves, as Emma gain an advantage with a death valley driver on Summer just for Summer to kick out. Emma tried to follow up with a sleeper hold but Summer managed to turn it into a back drop bridged for a pinfall, just for two. "Wherever Paige is right now, she really needs to get back in there to prevent these counts from happening", commented Albert, reminding us that the title could change hands without Paige's involvement in the deciding fall. Summer got back to her feet as Emma did too, a jawbreaker from the Australian to the American before Emma ducked a clothesline attempt by Summer and connected with a running back elbow; Emma with another cover just for two! "Emma right now is showing true dedication to these pinfalls, making sure her opponent is still in the game so that she can further weaken them for the Emma Lock" commented Regal on commentary; as Emma saw a re-emerging Paige entering the ring and targeted her; the friends now going at it as Paige ducked a running big boot attempt made by Emma, Paige then going for an early Paige Turner just for Emma to nail Paige with a knee trembler followed by a crossbody off the ropes! Emma covered, but Paige once again kicked out as Summer then stepped in to send Emma out of the ring onto the apron. Summer then slapped Paige twice, having her way with her longtime rival before Paige dragged Summer out of the ring onto the apron as well: Paige diving over Summer on the apron and landing on her feet on the floor, connecting with a sunset flip out of the ring! Summer was down and hurting, as the fans in the Full Sail University chanted "holy sh*t!" "That was amazing! I've never seen something like that out of Paige before!" exclaimed Byron as Regal continued, "this is exactly why Paige has been the NXT Women's Champion since June 20, 2013. She controls everything she does and leaves it all out there in that squared circle".
Summer Rae remained down on the floor, as Paige slowly got back into the ring to meet up with her friend Emma. Emma and Paige proceeded to face off, as the NXT Universe applauded this. "This is the match we were meant to get last month - now they can finally have it! Paige versus Emma, the NXT Women's crown at stake live on the WWE Network!" continued Jason Albert. Emma overpowered Paige this time, as she backed Paige into the corner just for Paige to switch it; Paige cornering Emma and attempting to charge at her, just for Emma to use the second rope to volley her feet into the air, striking the 'Anti-Diva' in the face. Emma followed up with the big boot, Emma cradling the legs of Paige for two. "You can say what you want about her ditzy personality, but in a high-stakes circumstance like these, I think many people underestimate the Australian girl next door", stated Regal, as Emma immediately followed up with a snapmare on Paige followed by a dropkick for another two count. Emma was hot for the title and it showed, as she locked on a headlock whilst Summer Rae remained down and dazed from the sunset flip to the outside moments ago. Paige managed to struggle her way out and use force to push Emma back to the canvas, as Emma rolled through and ran right into a headscissors takedown, Paige covering with desperation just for Emma to kick out at two. Paige was now in control, as she attempted to lock in a cloverleaf just for the blonde to kick the champ away. Paige came back stomping though, as she stomped on the legs of Emma in an effort to slow the challenger down. Paige tried to go for the cloverleaf again but Emma was too strong to turn over, and Emma sent Paige sailing into the corner. This was Emma's chance to capitalize, as she charged at the Brit and charged her in the corner with the Emma-mite Sandwich - Emma then going up to the top rope where she came off with a splash, turning 45 degrees in the process onto the NXT Women's Champion for a cover - one, two, but no! "Emma may be using her arsenal to its full potential here, but it's not stopping Paige - that NXT Women's title is her baby and it has been for nearly nine months" pointed on Saxton as Emma applied a single legged Boston crab on Paige, simply trying to do whatever it took to get the win - but Paige managed to slip out of it and sunset flip Emma for two. The gripping two counts were starting to annoy Paige now, as both friends appeared to be equally resilient and refusing to quit in this match.
Paige tried to set up for the Paige Turner but Emma blocked it and connected with a northern lights suplex; Emma instead of bridging rolling backwards and turning Paige: the Australian applying the Emma Lock! The NXT Universe chanted Emma's name as Paige struggled, trying to resist defeat - but that's when Summer Rae re-entered the fray to break it up! Rae delivered an axe handle to the abdomen of Emma, then following up with a hair-pull slam to the canvas for the Australian. Summer was capitalizing on a weakened two opponents, picking the NXT Women's Champion up and delivering a stalling suplex but for another two count. Rae had a temper tantrum as she realized how resilient the two other Divas in this match were. "You can not rule out Summer Rae. But at this point in the match, both Emma and Paige have gone completely into survival mode". Summer went after Paige again, delivering a DDT onto the leg of the 'Anti-Diva', the 'First Lady of NXT' repeating two more times before locking in a leg lock on the champion, Paige riving in pain until Emma managed to step in and break it up. Emma traded blows with Summer on their feet, as Paige joined in: and that's when Emma showed off her freakish strength - delivering a suplex simultaneously to Summer and Paige! "Emma never ceases to impress, and now she's on a roll!" said Jason Albert, as Emma got to her feet and roared along with the NXT fans, a clothesline for Paige and Summer each, a body slam for the 'Anti-Diva', and the Emma-Mite Sandwich in the corner for the American! Emma climbed back into the ring and proceeding to pick Summer up with the Emma-plane spin, the 'Dancing Queen' dizzying Summer after seven rotations: and a discus clothesline took Summer down for the cover - just for two as Summer kicked out. Emma appeared to have dizzied herself, as she then went for an Oklahoma roll on Summer for two - followed by with a sunset flip for two, and then a ducked clothesline from Summer led to an inside cradle, again for two! The NXT Universe booed as Emma was getting frustrated with herself after so many near falls! "Emma is leaving it all out there tonight, she is trying everything she can to take the NXT Women's Championship she has come so close to on so many occasions". Emma then decided to try for the diving crossbody on Summer, but Rae managed to crotch her up there. Summer went up to the second rope to attempt a superplex - and that's when Paige joined in, getting Summer on her shoulders for a powerbomb, and Summer went down as did Emma, a tower of doom causing the Winter Park crowd to erupt! "NXT! NXT! NXT!" All three Divas were down now, as Paige desperately covered Summer for two...and then moved over to go cover Emma...who caught her with an inside cradle, one, two, NO! "Does it get any closer than that!?" questioned Byron among chants of despair, the NXT crowd now rooting for Emma in this match. Paige gasped as she slowly got to her feet to attempt the Paige Turner, but Emma blocked it again, sending Paige into the ropes. On the rebound the champion ducked a big boot from the blonde and got her up for a suplex - then dropped Emma with a surprise Cradle DDT out of nowhere! "The Ram-Paige! Can Paige capitalize!?" exclaimed Regal as the audience were stunned after the impact of Emma's head crashing on the canvas. Paige hooked a leg for one, two, but Summer pulled Paige by the hair, connecting with the Summer Crush on the champion! The BFF covered Paige, but the NXT Women's Champion kicked out! Summer started throwing another tantrum as Paige was out in the ring despite the kickout. "I think Paige's tank is on empty, as much as she'd hate to admit it". "What a journey this has been, guys!" said Albert; Summer then getting to her feet and trying to hit Paige with a second Summer Crush - but Emma shoved Summer into Paige sending the champion plummeting out of the ring: allowing Emma to connect with a death valley driver spiking Summer on her head; Emma hooking the legs, and that was it in 14:34! WINNER, AND NEW NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION: EMMA (***1/2)
"She's done it! She's finally done it!" exclaimed Jason Albert as Emma immediately broke down from the overwhelming shock of those final minutes - the Australian had finally won the big one at NXT ArRIVAL. "Emma has snapped the 252 day reign of Paige, and she is now the NXT Women's Champion!" The NXT Universe all applauded Emma for her win in this match, as Paige looked on in shock on the outside. "It was 252 days ago when Paige won the finals of a tournament to crown the first ever Women's Champion defeating Emma...and 252 days later, it's Emma winning the Women's Championship!" exclaimed William Regal whilst Paige shook her head at ringside. Summer Rae rolled out of the ring in defeat, as an emotional Emma was handed the NXT Women's Championship. Emma continued to celebrate as Paige strangely didn't even try to congratulate Emma. "It's clear that Paige is disappointed - but Emma gave her a hug when Paige won the title?" Albert tried to explain, as Emma watched Paige leave with an eyebrow raised. "But nonetheless, Emma has done the unthinkable, Emma is finally the NXT Women's Champion!"
(1:05) | LOOK WHO'S HERE! - As the new NXT Women's Champion Emma continued her celebration in the ring, the cameras turned to various points in the crowd, where WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson and NXT trainer Dusty Rhodes were seen sitting in the front row applauding Emma on her victory. Elsewhere in the NXT Universe was John Cena and his girlfriend Nikki Bella, who seemed to be scouting talent as Nikki had a serious eye on Emma for some reason. "The stars coming out tonight for NXT ArRIVAL!"
(1:05) | ONE LAST WORD - In the locker room backstage we see Adrian Neville warming up, as the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' held the NXT Tag Team Championship around his waist. Neville turned around to see Corey Graves in his face, the NXT Tag Team Championship on his shoulder. "We've come so far in the past couple of weeks, and I just wanted to say thanks for having my back the last couple of weeks" admitted Graves, to which Neville looked the 'Savior of Misbehavior' up and down. "Don't thank me. This is for the NXT Tag Team Championship. We're live on the WWE Network, this is NXT ArRIVAL. And we're the champs. Tonight, Corey, we need to wipe out the Ascension to cement ourselves in history". Graves cut Neville off, as he said "I get it, I get it. We're actually more alike than I realized before. I was wrong about you, Adrian. Let's go kick the Ascension's asses!" The champs left, as their title defense was up next. ( 1:06) | NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP [#NXTTagTitle] THE ASCENSION vs COREY GRAVES & ADRIAN NEVILLE (c)"It's been a historic night already, and we've still got three more matches to get through yet!" commented William Regal, as the brand new theme of the Ascension hit to loud boos from the Full Sail University crowd. Out came the challengers, Konnor and Viktor sporting a new look, dressed in black tights and facepaint as they paced down the rampway steadily en route to the ring. "Here is a duo that have conquered the tag team ranks in NXT since their inception last summer. I'm honestly surprised they haven't been the NXT Tag Team Champions already - they're just so dominant" remarked Jason Albert, touting his boys in the Ascension. Tonight their intentions were to take the NXT Tag Team Championships they failed to win back in October of last year. "They learned from their mistakes, and you have to believe that tonight Neville and Graves have to be firing on all cylinders if they want to keep those tag titles" mentioned Byron Saxton, as the challengers awaited the arrival of their opponents in this match. And then, the theme of Corey Graves hit and out came the 'Savior of Misbehavior' to a surprisingly positive reaction from the NXT Universe. "Here comes a man that surely nobody expected to keep this team of clashing personalities together. But Graves has undergone an evolution, and now he stands before us as one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions" noted William Regal, referring to Graves and Adrian Neville's previous problems co-existing as a team. Clad in dark blue jeans and boots, he waited on the rampway as the theme of his tag team partner Adrian Neville hit to a big reaction from the NXT Universe. Neville joined Graves on the rampway with the title around his waist sporting silver and yellow trunks, as the two stared down the opposition in the ring. Graves and Neville notably shook hands before charging down to the ring. "It seems like Neville and Graves are on the same page tonight, and that could be bad news for Konnor and Viktor!" remarked Byron Saxton as Graves and Neville slid into the ring into the waiting hands of the Ascension; all four Superstars trading blows in the ring, Graves trading blows with Konnor as Neville traded blows with Viktor. The 'Man That Gravity Forgot' delivered a snap hurricanrana on Viktor sending him through the ropes, as Adrian then targeted Konnor who was pounding away on Corey in the corner; Neville capturing Konnor with a knee into the spine, and Graves then took Konnor down with a clothesline! Corey took to the apron as Neville meanwhile tried to keep fighting with the larger Konnor, but Adrian got tossed off the ropes, Neville then ducking a clothesline attempt by the big man; Neville following up with a 180-turn moonsault plancha completely over the top rope onto Viktor at ringside! "We're all over the place, Adrian Neville is a top notch competitor here in NXT and I'll be surprised if he isn't on Monday Night RAW by the end of 2014!"
commented Jason Albert, as Neville arose to his feet and jumped onto the apron where he tried to dodge the offense of a vigorous Konnor, dodging two clotheslines before delivering a shoulder thrust to the challenger; Neville flipping over the top rope and Konnor and running off the ropes opposite to connect a front dropkick to the big man's knees; Adrian tagging in Corey Graves as Neville then wrenched on the neck of Konnor, applying some sort of neck grip arching over the spine of the challenger allowing Graves to deliver a double foot stomp right into the face of Konnor! "I think that these two, Neville and Graves are at the point now where they can get along; they can control the pace of the match and pull off any team move possible: they've finally overcome that ego-clash which has plagued a lot of their reign as NXT Tag Team Champions" analyzed Regal, as Corey Graves positioned Konnor in the corner and delivered two chops to the chest, before attempting to whip Konnor off just for Konnor to overpower the punk rocker and rope him in for a flapjack sending Graves face first into the top turnbuckle! Konnor slammed Graves' face into the turnbuckle multiple times before slamming him down onto the canvas for an elbow drop. Konnor dragged Corey by the arm to the Ascension's corner, where he tagged in partner Viktor whilst Neville looked on in despair from his corner. "Now this is where things get dangerous. You can not let the Ascension gain control because they focus so hard on manipulating their opponent." elaborated Albert whilst Konnor and Viktor both decided to pound away with huge axe handles across the spine of Graves, Corey trying to fight out of it with a right hand to Viktor but Konnor blind-sighted Corey with a clothesline from behind! Konnor went to the apron as Viktor picked the NXT Tag Team Champion up and wrenched on his neck with a variation of a cravate. "You're a fool" growled Viktor as Graves tried to fight him off, but as he did this Viktor pulled him back forcing Graves down to the canvas. Viktor tagged in Konnor, as the two picked the 'Savior of Misbehavior' up and catapulted him repeatedly into the corner among boos, the Ascension then connecting with a double flapjack on Graves, Konnor covering for two. Konnor then applied a side headlock and lifted Graves up, connecting with a headlock takedown - and then again and again as Graves appeared fatigued from this; Konnor covering but for two again, Graves refusing to give in to the Ascension! Konnor tagged in Viktor again who delivered several elbow drops onto Graves, Viktor proceeding to tag Konnor back in once again. "This is smart on the part of the Ascension - quick tags, taking off scraps of Corey Graves - this is why the Ascension may soon become one of the best tag teams in NXT and the WWE today" commented Jason Albert, as Adrian Neville tried to get the fans behind Graves by clapping his hands together from the corner. Konnor tried to connect with a Russian legsweep on Graves just for Corey to reverse it by pulling forward and breaking free of Konnor's attempt, Corey landing on all fours and reaching for Neville with the tag just for Konnor to drag Graves back to the Ascension's half of the ring where Viktor was tagged in yet again; a neckbreaker for Corey! "He's an animal, guys. Look at him stalk Graves...Corey needs to watch out". Viktor allowed a groggy Corey Graves to get to his feet before darting across the ring in front of him and connecting with a huge STO taking Graves down hard. Viktor covered as referee Drake Wuertz got down to cover, one, two but Adrian Neville dashed in to break the count! Neville returned to the apron with a slight smirk on his face and the NXT fans applauding him, whilst Viktor glared at him in annoyance. "Adrian really needs to find a way to annoy these Ascension members enough so that they lose focus on Graves so that a tag to the fresh Neville can be made", said Byron Saxton, as Viktor dragged Graves over to Konnor for yet another tag in their quick, effective cycle. Konnor and Viktor at this point appeared ready to try and put Graves away as Viktor charged Neville off the apron with a shoulder tackle, and the two challengers in the Ascension circled Graves like two hungry lions surrounding its prey: and that's when the two went for the Fall of Man: just for Graves to side step it all of a sudden; the 'Savior of Misbehavior' with a Dragon Suplex for Konnor! The NXT Universe cheered loudly as Graves was then jumped again by Viktor, when Graves suddenly chop blocked the leg of Viktor! "After this beating can Graves capitalize and tag in the fresh Adrian Neville?" asked Albert as Neville stamped his foot on the ring apron allowing the Full Sail crowd to follow suit, everybody rooting for Graves...and just when he got to the corner, Konnor grabbed the foot of Graves: but Corey nailed Konnor with an enzuigiri and Graves made the tag to Neville! "Get ready for a bumpy ride!" exclaimed Byron. Adrian hopped the top rope and immediately clipped Konnor with a kick to the gut, and then the chest - and then a roundhouse kick stunned Konnor! Neville was rolling as he charged the ropes and captured Viktor with a tornado DDT, Neville quick like a flea charging at a stunned Konnor with a dropkick...turned into a moonsault landing on Konnor! Neville was firing from all cylinders as he sprung off of the second rope into a neckbreaker, as the Newcastle native covered Konnor for two. Neville continued as he tried picking Konnor up but Viktor was there to blind-sight Neville to boos. The Ascension attempted to catapult Neville into the air for a double Samoan drop but Neville managed to land on Konnor's shoulders delivering a unique hurricanrana into Viktor his tag partner! Viktor went sailing out of the ring as a visibly dazed Neville tagged out to a refreshened Corey Graves, Graves charging the ring and nailing a second chop block right into the thigh of Konnor! Graves proceeded to pick apart the leg before going for the Lucky 13 just for Viktor to step in and break the hold. Viktor tried to go for a belly-to-back suplex on Corey but Corey managed to switch it into one of his own: Graves then getting a blind tag from Neville allowing Adrian to hop onto the top rope and fly off with a diving 450 splash onto Viktor, Neville flipping forward onto his feet to a huge applause from the Full Sail crowd who were exploding at the seams. "Adrian is truly fantastic, especially tonight in this high stakes situation! Neville and Graves are doing the best teamwork of their joint career right here". Neville covered from the 450 splash but Konnor was there to break the count this time - and Graves was there to even the score with all four men brawling in the ring yet again! Graves got Konnor on his shoulders for the fireman's carry into a backbreaker but Konnor slipped out of it and landed on the apron, whilst Viktor accidentally sent Neville into the apron to take Konnor down to the floor. Meanwhile Viktor went to clothesline both NXT Tag Team Champions to the outside just for Neville and Graves to toss Konnor over the top rope with Konnor landing on his partner Viktor on the floor! From here, Corey Graves went up to the top rope and flew off with a huge dive onto both members of the Ascension - and so a very motivated and ready Adrian Neville got ready to fly as the NXT Universe braced themselves. "Here we go!" Neville dove off of one set of ropes and sprung onto the top rope on the other side: Neville connecting with an amazing shooting star press plancha on top of Konnor, Viktor and Graves! The NXT Universe were exploding as chants of "this is awesome!" rang throughout the NXT Arena. Neville and Graves slowly got to their feet first as Neville dragged the legal man Viktor into the ring again; Neville then going up to the top rope for the Red Arrow but Konnor got onto the apron and tugged on the foot of Neville sidetracking the 'Man That Gravity Forgot' for a few moments but finally Corey Graves pulled Konnor down to the floor. Neville meanwhile went for the Red Arrow but the distraction from Konnor allowed Viktor to move and Neville got nothing but canvas! A winded Neville gasped for air, as Viktor had meanwhile nailed Graves with a spinebuster onto the rampway; the Ascension then aligning in the ring...the Fall of Man connecting on Neville! "Hungry lions, guys, hungry lions!" commented Albert, as Viktor and Konnor covered Neville, and we had new NXT Tag Team Champions crowned at 12:29! WINNERS AND NEW NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE ASCENSION (**3/4)
"I can't believe it, but these two men Konnor and Viktor have become NXT Tag Team Champions" remarked Byron Saxton as Adrian Neville remained down and out in the ring, and Konnor and Viktor stood dominant over him, almost perched over the 'Jumping Geordie'. The referee Drake Wuertz handed Konnor and Viktor the NXT Tag Team Championships as they growled to one another - meanwhile Corey Graves sat up on the rampway to watch on as the Ascension continued their celebration. "What an effort by Adrian and Corey, but tonight was the Ascension's night, and God only knows how devastating NXT will become with these two behemoths as Tag Team Champions". The now former Tag Team Champions will fight another day, as the Ascension were victorious tonight at ArRIVAL. (1:18) | THE FUTURE IS NOW ON THURSDAYS - A brief video package aired, showcasing several NXT Superstars flashing around the screen in action. "Witness the future of tomorrow - today!" remarked the voiceover, as Bo Dallas, Kassius Ohno, Adrian Neville, the Ascension, Corey Graves among many others were showcased in fast-cutting segments. Finally we went to the brand new NXT logo (complete with the WWE Network logo) as the voiceover man concluded: "NXT is moving to Thursdays, only on the WWE Network!"(1:19) | STILL ARROGANT - STILL WANTED - We cut to the backstage interview section as Devin Taylor was standing by with an ever confident Tyler Breeze, who was taking particular notice to his iPhone as per usual. "Tyler, you are moments away from facing an understandably irritated Colin Cassady. Have you got any comments for 'Big Cass' ahead of your match?" Tyler smiled as he turned to Devin. "I have no regrets for what I did to Cassady or Enzo Amore. You see, Devin, it's 'Big Cass' and Enzo's fault that they got what they deserved. They messed with 'Prince Pretty' Tyler Breeze...and in return, I messed with them. Tonight, I--" a sudden change of facial expression as Tyler looked off-screen to see Colin Cassady glaring at Tyler Breeze. "When ya ready, Tyler, I got all night!"
Breeze's eyes widened as he grabbed Devin and threw her in Colin's path - Tyler then making a run for it! Breeze ran through the curtains as the camera followed him: but as they got out onto the stage in the NXT Arena, Colin Cassady caught Breeze! "This isn't good - Tyler's about to get his beautiful face bashed in by 'Big Cass'!"(1:20) | COLIN CASSADY vs TYLER BREEZE [#BreezeVsCassady] "This could get very brutal very quickly" spoke Jason Albert, as Colin Cassady grabbed Tyler Breeze by a handful of hair and tried to send 'Prince Pretty' off the stage just for Breeze to sidestep 'Big Cass' and kick him in the gut. This all started when Tyler Breeze was humiliated by Cassady and Enzo Amore, with Tyler's high school yearbook photos revealed to the world - and Breeze has since gone out of his way to get revenge on Cass and Enzo - even adopting a new, sadistic, narcissistic persona. But with Cassady previously promising Enzo that he would get payback on Breeze for knocking him out of his wheelchair with a Beauty Shock a few weeks ago, 'Big Cass' was a different animal to what we've previously seen. Breeze continued as he delivered three right hands to the big man; Cassady shoving Tyler off and charging at Breeze with a clothesline right on the steel ramp! "Watch out, Tyler" said William Regal. 'Big Cass' then grabbed Tyler by his hair and tossed him down the rampway to the ringside area, as Cassady continued to strike Breeze with right hands on the way down - clearly targeting the face of the 'King of Cutesville'. 'Big Cass' then rolled Tyler into the ring, following suit to officially start the match - but Tyler had other plans and rolled out of the other side of the ring to catch a breath.
"Smart move by Tyler - when your opponent is as aggressive as Colin Cassady is tonight, you run and try to regain your composure - rethink your strategy plan - think about how to derail a man of Cass's stature" analyzed Regal as Tyler looked at Cassady from the ringside area before he tried to slip into the ring just for Cassady to rain down punches on him! 'Big Cass' picked Tyler up and delivered a fallaway slam, but instead of trying to go for the cover Cassady instead started to pound away on Breeze raining clenched fists down onto the face of Breeze as the Full Sail crowd relentlessly chanted "Kick his a--, kick his a--". Cass then picked Tyler up and tossed him off the ropes, but Breeze hung onto the ropes in desperation, and when Cassady charged at Tyler, Breeze ducked a right hand and bounced off the other set of ropes, connecting with a running dropkick taking down the native from Queens, New York! 'Prince Pretty' was quick to keep on Cass now, as his yellow-bellied appearance before the match and up until this point was replaced by a look of aggression: Tyler proceeding to slap Cassady across the face multiple times before gloating to the NXT Universe to loud boos. "Here's where Tyler is making a big mistake by not following up on the baby bull that is 'Big Cass" commented Byron Saxton, as Breeze then turned around and tried to pick Cassady up just for Colin to surprise Tyler with a sidewalk slam! Cassady picked Breeze up again, connecting with a powerslam followed by a cover attempt but for two. 'Big Cass' continued as he dove off the ropes and dropped an elbow deep into the heart of Tyler, followed up by a second one - and in a feat of agility by the 6'10 man connected with the East River Crossing jumping elbow drop; but Tyler Breeze managed to get his foot on the bottom rope causing the rope break. It seemed like his temper was getting the better of him now as Tyler rolled out onto the apron, but Cassady was there to deliver a big boot sending Breeze sailing off the apron! Tyler was down on the outside and Colin Cassady was hungry for more of 'Prince Pretty', as he followed Breeze to the outside just to run into Breeze nailing 'Big Cass' with a Supermodel Kick; Breeze stunning Cassady! Tyler followed as he sent Colin right into the steel steps before climbing to the top of the steps and coming off with a double axe handle stunning Cass. "Nobody is better than Tyler Breeze!" an irked Breeze stated as he then rolled his opponent back into the ring preparing for a missile dropkick, but Colin managed to catch Tyler: 'Big Cass' attempting to go for another fallaway slam just for Breeze to slide out, Tyler connecting with a Beauty Shot; hooking the legs with his feet on the ropes for three at 4:54. WINNER: TYLER BREEZE (**)
Tyler Breeze quickly left the ring to boos from the NXT Universe, obviously unimpressed with the work ethic of 'Prince Pretty'. "Tyler got lucky tonight, and he should be proud. But you have to imagine that 'Big Cass' won't leave Breeze alone until he gets the revenge he feels Tyler deserves" commented William Regal as Tyler went up the rampway and picked up his iPhone dusting it off, after dropping it on the rampway. Breeze gazed into it as 'Big Cass' sat up in the ring, mouthing "this ain't over, Tyler". ( 1:27) | EYES ON THE PRIZE - Moving on, we went to the backstage area where Kassius Ohno was shown warming up in one dressing room practicing his knockouts in the air; as NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas sat in his dressing room looking down at his title gold positioned on his lap. "Both men visibly ready for this match, but first, let's take a look to see how we got here". A video package aired, going back to May of last year where Bo Dallas pulled off a huge upset, using an exposed turnbuckle to win the NXT Heavyweight Championship from Big E Langston. "Can you believe this, Bo Dallas is the new NXT Champion!" We then went to Bo talking about his huge win as he wandered the ring in his suit. "I am the face of NXT. I am the future. I am the man on the mountain" he obnoxiously said with a grin on his face, whilst footage of his multiple title defenses played - defeating Leo Kruger, Konnor, Antonio Cesaro, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Colin Cassady all by cheating to score the victory. "Bo Dallas is going to do anything he can to keep the NXT title around his waist". Flash forward to November, where Kassius Ohno challenged Dallas for the NXT title: and Kassius seemed to be on the verge of victory, coming close not once but twice just to be jarred as Dallas got his foot on the ropes and bumped the referee in the process. Dallas went on to be victorious, defeating Ohno after using the NXT title as a weapon followed by a roll-up. "Bo, I've had enough to hear about you being the NXT Champion. I want a rematch, and I want to knock you out!". After weeks of Ohno trying to pursue an obnoxious and arrogant Bo Dallas, it was NXT General Manager who decided that this rematch take place. "It's Bo Dallas defending the NXT Heavweight Championship against Kassius Ohno...and if Ohno loses, he must leave NXT!" remarked an ecstatic Jason Albert: as NXT GM John Bradshaw Layfield who decided to add in an extra stipulation. "Just to make sure Bo, you don't sly your way out of this one. We're going to make this thing a two out of three falls match!" explained the GM as Bo panicked. As footage of the two brawling ran across the screen in fast motion, Bo Dallas screeched, "I am the greatest NXT Heavyweight Champion ever! I am greatness! I am prettier than Kassius Ohno! I am better than Kassius Ohno! And Kassius's career comes to an end at NXT ArRIVAL!" Kassius then retorted, "Bo Dallas, your days are numbered, because when I get my hands on you, it will be a straight K.O. and I'll be the new NXT Champion!"
(1:30) | THE EXPERT PANEL - We went outside to the Expert Panel, who were still hanging around. Renee Young fronted the panel featuring Kevin Nash, Bret Hart and Paul Heyman, as they touted the previous events on this card. "What an amazing night it's been, showcasing the stars of tomorrow today - what a time to be alive and working for NXT" she said as Bret agreed. "I think it's been awesome. Big props to Cesaro and Sami Zayn for that amazing opener, I think they left it all out there, and it really reminded me of myself when I wrestled in that ring" mentioned Bret, as Paul Heyman agreed: "I think it's been something for everyone involved with NXT to be proud of: I have to pursue Antonio Cesaro. Sami Zayn may have been victorious tonight, but Cesaro is such a great wrestler and I think he could be a big star one day". "I've got to say I'm really impressed by the big guys, Konnor and Viktor. Great title win for those guys with the belts switching hands. I think the Ascension will dominate the tag division for quite a while" noted Kevin Nash. Renee asked the panel about their thoughts going into the NXT Heavweight Championship match in a few minutes, as Nash said "I like how ridiculous Bo Dallas is. He's a slimeball. Kassius Ohno, a world class athlete - but he doesn't know dirty like Bo does", concluded Kevin Nash. "I've seen Kassius Ohno wrestle before and I think if he wants it badly enough, he will take the NXT title tonight - that motivation has to be heightened with his career on the line" said Bret Hart. Paul lastly said "As much as I love Kassius's work in the ring, and believe me he is one of the greatest talents in NXT right now and arguably the world - I think Bo Dallas will be victorious. I see big money in Bo Dallas: I think he's done a hell of a job holding onto the NXT Championship as long as he has: and I think that this moment is his. It's his legacy, and his career in the WWE is still young!" With that said, Renee sent us back to the NXT Arena for the main event.
(1:32) | ANOTHER SURPRISE - We returned to inside of the Full Sail University as ring announcer Eden began to introduce the NXT Heavyweight Championship match. "But first, before the match begins, I would like to introduce to you at this time, a former four time WWE Champion - WWE Hall of Famer 'the Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels!" The NXT Arena erupted as the theme of the 'Showstopper' hit to loud cheers, and out came Shawn Michaels with a very loud beard; HBK strutting his stuff for the Winter Park crowd to loud cheers from the NXT Universe. Michaels strutted down to the ring as he was met with chants of "HBK! HBK!" "What a surprise to see Shawn Michaels here tonight, guys!" excitedly gasped Byron Saxton as Michaels held a microphone in his hand. "I was just in the neighbourhood and I thought that I would just check in to see how the NXT Universe was doing tonight!" The fans cheered, as Michaels continued: "I've been watching NXT ArRIVAL all night up until this point, and i just wanted to say how amazed I am to see so many hard-working young prospects working their butts off to deliver a fantastic show. You're all truly the future of the WWE and Old Man Shawn must admit, it brings a tear to his eye!" The NXT fans cheered more, as Shawn then sped things up. "But last time I checked, this show's not over, so Kassius, Bo - let's get down to business!" The fans cheered as Michaels smirked, ignoring "one more match" chants, sticking to his retired roots.
(1:34) |
NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS MATCH: OHNO'S CAREER ON THE LINE [#NXTTitle] KASSIUS OHNO vs BO DALLAS (c) The theme of Kassius Ohno hit to prompt the NXT Universe to come alive for our final match of the night; the 'Knockout Kid' walking out to the ring to a thunderous ovation from the NXT fanbase clad in red ready for this high stakes rematch with the NXT Heavyweight Champion. "Tonight, this is do or die for Kassius Ohno. It's all running on him to win the NXT crown or face exclusion from NXT" explained Byron Saxton, as Ohno climbed into the ring ready to go in this bout, shaking hands with Shawn Michaels as the 'Heartbreak Kid' made his way to the back. "He's a sixteen year veteran in the ring, but he's only been a part of the WWE machine for nearly three years - if Kassius wants to make his career complete, he will need to win that NXT title, he needs to advance to the main roster - and I believe that Kassius has the determination and focus to succeed and not let his career perish here at ArRIVAL" continued William Regal. As Kassius waited, the theme song of the younger, less experienced NXT Heavyweight Champion Bo Dallas' theme hit as Dallas made his way out to loud boos from the NXT Universe. Dallas posed for the fans, wearing white trunks as the NXT Heavyweight Championship rested around his waist - Bo stroking it as he made his way down to the ring with a big smile on his face as usual. "Bo Dallas has to be the most surprising face in NXT - nobody wanted him around, he's someone loathed by the NXT Universe: very underestimated in the ring. But somehow he's made it to being 280 days into his reign". Jason Albert continued, saying "The thing with Bo Dallas is that he is very talented in the ring: but because he is so dedicated to keeping the NXT title around his waist, he lets arrogance go to his head - he genuinely believes that he is the Face of NXT. If Dallas can concentrate and try not to rely on screwing Ohno tonight in what could be an amazing main event to NXT ArRIVAL, then Dallas could definitely become the true face of NXT. He's a cheater, a liar and a manipulator: but let's see what Dallas can bring to the table tonight". Dallas got to the ring and smiled at Ohno as referee Drake Wuertz separated the two to their own corner; as both anticipated the opening bell. "Here's something to think about though: Kassius Ohno is 34 years old. Bo Dallas is 23 years old. That is an eleven year age gap and that could make or break either man in this match: although it's also down to the experience factor, which Kassius wins hands down" evaluated Byron Saxton. Eden concluded the in-ring introductions, and referee Drake Wuertz sounded the bell, allowing for this match to begin. Bo smiled as he and Kassius circled the ring, and that's when an eager NXT Heavweight Champion charged at Kassius just for Ohno to sidestep him - Ohno connecting with the discus elbow smash into the back of Dallas's head! Bo went down, and Kassius covered allowing for the first fall in this match in 0:21! KASSIUS OHNO: 1 | NXT HEAVWEIGHT CHAMPION BO DALLAS: 0
"Oh my! That's the first fall! Kassius Ohno is one up in this match already right out of the gate!" exclaimed Jason Albert, as the Full Sail University lit up in applause, Kassius raising his hands high in the ring! Bo was down, and Drake Wuertz was trying to revive the knocked out champion as the timer counted down on the thirty second rest period. Bo arose as he seemed embarrassed by the quick conclusion to round one of this match-up. "Now Bo's in hot water: could he let the NXT title slip so quickly through his fingers?" questioned Jason Albert, as the bell for the second fall sounded. Ohno closed in as Bo approached the centre, a joking KO smash attempt causing Bo to quickly flinch and roll out of the ring, wisely evaluating what he has to do to win this match against Kassius Ohno. "You can see Kassius is focused - but is he more focused than Bo? Will this arrogance get to Dallas's head and cause the third of three title changes tonight?" commented Regal, reminding viewers on the WWE Network of the NXT Women's and Tag Team Championship changes earlier on tonight. Dallas slowly got back onto the apron and hesitantly climbed back inside, and Bo wisely side-tracked Kassius' lock up attempt with a kick to the sternum, then delivering a clubbering blow to the back of the neck; Dallas regaining his composure as he sent Kassius off the ropes but as Bo awaited Ohno to come back, the challenger grabbed the head of Bo and locked in a cravate to the applause of the NXT Universe - but Dallas rattled Ohno and grabbed the top rope tightly forcing Ohno to break the hold. Kassius waited eagerly as Bo braced for another exchange. Kassius tried to strike Dallas but Bo ducked it and dropkicked the challenger in the spine sending him into the corner hard, as Bo Dallas then charged Ohno with a high knee into the spine sandwiching Ohno into the corner further. Bo turned the 'Knockout Kid' as he chopped Kassius hard, then delivering another mudhole stomp; then trying to whip Ohno into the opposite corner just for Ohno to switch it and as Kassius tried to go for a sidewalk slam, Ohno flipped out of it and connected with a spear on Ohno, hastily hooking the leg of Ohno but for two. Bo seemed hungry for a fall now that he was one fall down, as Kassius slowly got to his feet: Bo quick to attack as he dove on Kassius and pounded away on him. Bo tried to turn Kassius for a neckbreaker, but Ohno tried to go for another KO - Bo this time dodging it and taking Ohno down with a waistlock takedown: Kassius getting back up to his feet as Bo then switched it for a Bo-Dog attempt just for Ohno to break loose and connect with a Mafia Kick to the side of Bo's jaw! Instead of falling down to the canvas though, this time Bo fell through the ropes onto the apron and yanked Ohno's head over the top rope causing Kassius to drop to his knees holding his throat. A groggy Bo Dallas then re-entered the ring, an Oklahoma roll with the tights hooked for two as Kassius wasn't done yet. "And now Bo's pulling out the desperation tactics, but maybe it's too early for him to be doing so" noted Regal as Bo headbutted Ohno with both men on their knees. Bo rocked Kassius with two more right hands as he targeted the elbow padded arm of Kassius, an armstabber connecting on Ohno as the 'Knockout Kid' clutched it on the canvas. Bo continued to manipulate it with multiple stomps on the arm before taking a moment to pose for the hostile NXT Universe. "Here is where Bo Dallas goes from being an arrogant, ever-smiling cartoon character into a masterful tactician - and rightfully so. He's one fall down, one more fall and he loses the NXT title" commented Byron as Bo further worked over the arm, a handstand into a knee into the bended arm of Kassius causing Ohno to gasp in pain. "Here's something to note: that's the elbow that Kassius aims with when he tries to KO his opponents. When Bo goes after that arm, he's weakening the limb that is most important to the 'Knockout Kid'. And that's something Kassius can not afford to lose".
Bo continued as Kassius tried to fight off Dallas just for Dallas to nail Ohno with an arm wrenching DDT, further trying to dislocate the shoulder now - the NXT Heavyweight Champion disallowing Ohno to follow up on his previous success of one-upping him. Bo proceeded to pick Kassius up and nailed Ohno with a knee trembler, as Kassius tried to fight back again with a German suplex but Bo grabbed onto the referee's shirt, then allowing Dallas to low blow Ohno without Drake Wuertz realizing! Ohno fell to his knees whilst Bo smiled to the NXT fans; Wuertz knowing none the wiser to the illegal low blow. Dallas then tried to go for some sort of DDT but Ohno tried to flip out of it; Bo landing on his feet, and a running forearm smash took Ohno off his feet for a near fall again. Bo went back to the arm, some sort of arm vice applied whilst Kassius tried to rise to the occasions again just to receive several kick to the face and head. Bo applied the Rings of Saturn submission on Ohno as the NXT Universe tried to root for the challenger in what could be his final match, but Ohno was in pain with his arm locked in under pressure. "This NXT Universe is so passionate about seeking a new NXT Champion, and they don't want Kassius Ohno to lose this match and lose his career. We've seen the evolution of both men throughout the past twenty months - both men appeared on the first episodes of NXT at Full Sail University: we have all witnessed the growth of both men in NXT today" analyzed Byron Saxton, as Kassius raised his good arm in retaliation with Bo, as Dallas noticed the other arm and seated himself on the bad arm even more causing Ohno to shout in pain. Dallas returned the grin of arrogance as it appeared Ohno would be down from this, but Kassius in a sudden burst of energy got his arm free and Ohno pulled Dallas back into a type of La Magistral for a very close fall! Dallas dove on top of Ohno's head, delivering a knee drop to the challenger, Dallas then following up with a second and covering but once again for two. "From boy to man, this is some true veteran instincts from Dallas: isolate the arm, keep going back to it - and when Kassius attempts to fight the offense, Bo keeps getting on top of him disallowing time for the challenger to rest up and rejuvenate". Bo picked Kassius up hooking both arms for a butterfly suplex, but Kassius broke free and connected with a TKO on Bo! Both men down, Kassius held his bad arm as he placed the good one on Bo's chest for a near fall. Kassius had had the life taken out of his KO'ing arm, and now was trying to find the energy to make a real comeback in this high stakes match. Ohno got his feet as Bo tried to shove him away, Dallas attempting a crossbody but Kassius caught him with a kitchen sink winding the champion! Ohno came off the ropes and connected with kick to the back of Bo's skull before hitting the ropes and flying back with a flying forearm smash; Ohno covering just for two. Kassius was back on the offense, as Dallas quickly got to his feet as Kassius charged Bo: Bo flipping Ohno over onto the second rope in the corner; Ohno going up to the top rope and coming off with an impressive moonsault! Ohno hooked the legs of Dallas, one, two, NO! "That's the one thing everybody tends to forget about Kassius. He's a fighter, a knockout artist, he's a brawler: but the man still knows how to fly!" Ohno and Dallas got to their feet as Bo dropkicked the knee of Kassius and stood over the challenger - but this allowed Ohno to pick Dallas up on his shoulders and execute an electric chair driver! "On the independent circuit Kassius called that the Rubik's Cube, going back to his roots!" explained Regal as Kassius hooked the legs of Dallas but once again for two! The NXT Universe gasped as Dallas slowly tried to get back to his feet; and Kassius went straight for more offense on Bo, Dallas playing possum as he came to life with a belly-to-back suplex on Kassius for a near fall! Dallas was trying to figure out what he had to do to win his first fall and avoid defeat, as Bo then went for the Bo-Dazzler, but Ohno flipped Bo over with a variation of the northern lights suplex - Kassius covering for two, as Bo then brought both men to their feet, Bo turning it into a backslide: Dallas with Kassius pinned, Dallas with his feet on the middle rope for three, Bo evening things up at 11:04 of this high stakes match!
KASSIUS OHNO: 1 | NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BO DALLAS: 1
"You had to believe that Bo would pull out all of the stops to get this fall - when everything else failed, he had to cheat to get a fall over Kassius Ohno!" exclaimed Byron Saxton, as Jason Albert responded, "But can Bo afford to pull this shtick again in the final fall? The two out of three falls stipulation was made into this match because of Dallas's tendency to do anything to win, and it's working as both men now have to score one more pinfall over the other to pick up the win". William Regal chimed in, "But now we have to remember, Bo Dallas and Kassius Ohno are in the final fall of this match: if Bo wins, Kassius is done. If Kassius wins, Bo loses the NXT title. This is the power of a high stakes match, and this crowd is eating everything up". The rest period ended as Bo and Kassius knelt in their respective corners, and the two locked up in the center upon the third fall's bell sounding. Both circled each other in the collar-and-elbow tie-up, wanting to gain momentum, as Kassius managed to back Bo into the corner; Ohno getting a thumb in the eye from Dallas as the NXT Heavyweight Champion then rolled Ohno up with the tights for added leverage: but Kassius kicked out at a near fall! "One three count can end Kassius's career here in NXT!" exerted Albert, as Kassius fired away with some forearm strikes to the face of Dallas, but Bo grabbed the weakened arm of Ohno and took him down with a crowbar submission applied. The 'Knockout Kid' rived in pain, as Bo was relentless with this hold: but moments later Ohno rolled out of it and struck Dallas with a big knee to the face! Dallas was stunned, and it was clear moments later than Dallas was bleeding from it. Dallas held his nose like it was about to fall off, as Kassius then nailed Bo with a very rare Hero's Welcome rolling cutter! The 'Knockout Kid' hooked the leg, one, two and no! "Kassius is pulling out all of the stops, even with moves from his past career touring the world! He's using all of his abilities for two goals: to keep his career and win the NXT Heavyweight title!" shouted Byron, as Dallas tried to crawl away from the challenger; Kassius then nailing Bo with a senton onto the spine of the champ, Ohno desperate to continue with a near fall yet again! Dallas was suffering with his busted nose, as Ohno stomped Dallas on the back of the head; the challenger hungry as Bo returned to his feet in a dazed state; Kassius attempting the discus elbow KO for a second time but Bo ducked: Dallas with the Bo-Dazzler, connecting! Bo hooked the legs, one, two, and NO as this match continued!
"This is awesome!" the fans continued to chant as Bo Dallas slammed his hands into the canvas, wanting to do whatever it took to walk out as the victor in this match! "This is the fall where it's all about passion. What it takes to be the NXT Heavyweight Champion, and this is exactly why these two men are representing NXT, making history for NXT and the NXT Generation here tonight on this historic ArRIVAL on the WWE Network!" exclaimed Byron, touting both men and the NXT brand. Bo soon set up for a second Bo-Dazzler attempt, but Ohno broke free and tripped Dallas with a drop toe hold sending him into the corner; Kassius coming back with a Mafia Kick in the corner! Dallas was dazed, and Kassius followed with a German release suplex! Bo was quick to roll onto his knees and Kassius connected with the KO discus smash to the side of Dallas's skull! Dallas was down and out, but he had taken Drake Wuertz down with him, a back elbow causing Wuertz to fall out of the ring. Kassius hooked the legs, but there was no referee. "Oh no! Oh no! Not now!" were the sounds of Byron, as Alexander Rusev and Aiden English came down the rampway with Sylvester Lefort following suit. The Legionnaires were here to get revenge on Kassius for the defeat last month on NXT. "They said they would get revenge on Ohno, but why here! What is Lefort's Legionnaires trying to accomplish?" questioned Albert, as Regal explained "they're making an impact, and what a perfect time for them to do so - but what terrible timing for Ohno with his NXT career on the line!" Ohno managed to fight off English with a clothesline, but Alexander Rusev connected with a perfect flying superkick to the jaw of Ohno! The 'Bulgarian Brute' and the 'Artiste' stood tall with Lefort trying to revive the referee, when suddenly the former NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Corey Graves ran down to the ring, Graves and Neville fighting off the Legionnaires and backing their friend from losing his match and career! "The cavalry is here, and it's an all out war!" The NXT Universe came apart at the seams as Graves sent English flying out of the ring, but Graves was taken down with a barbaric clothesline from Rusev. Neville tried to fight Rusev, as Adrian connected with a big superkick for the Bulgarian stunning him; but a roundhouse kick attempt caused Rusev to dodge it, and Neville caught Kassius across the skull! Ohno was dazed as Rusev tackled Neville to the canvas and out of the ring; a bloody nosed Bo Dallas capitalizing and nailing Ohno with a Bo-Dazzler! Referee Drake Wuertz had come back to life, as Dallas hooked the legs of an unconscious Ohno...one, two...three at 18:23. WINNER AND STILL NXT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: BO DALLAS (****)
"No!" exclaimed Byron Saxton, as the NXT Universe fell silent. The theme of Bo Dallas hit, as a barely conscious Bo arose with a busted open nose. Dallas' hand was raised in victory as the NXT Heavyweight Champion left the ring and grabbed his belt: wanting to make a getaway as Corey Graves and Adrian Neville re-entered the ring. Kassius Ohno remained down on the canvas, his hands covering his face as Bo had made an escape, celebrating at the top of the rampway hugging the NXT title. "I did it! I did it!"
"I can't believe it" said a dejected William Regal. "The career of Kassius Ohno is over. Bo Dallas is still the champion". Kassius slowly rose to his feet, as Ohno was bleeding a tiny bit from his borehead. It took Ohno a minute to get to his feet, as a visibly apologetic Adrian Neville and Corey Graves stood before him. "The worst part of all of this is that it was Adrian Neville that accidentally cost Kassius his livelyhood here. Kassius was on the verge of winning the title and the Legionnaires got involved. But Neville was the one that accidentally knocked out Ohno with a superkick and cost his friend the title" explained Byron Saxton. "But I'm sure Neville didn't mean to" responded Jason Albert. "But that doesn't matter now, because Kassius is gone. I can't honestly believe it." Ohno looked at Neville and Graves, particularly Neville. He saw right through him. Ohno then walked past Graves and Neville between them, heading out of the ring. But just before he did, Kassius turned back at Neville. "Until next time" he said. Neville and Graves looked on in shame as Kassius made one last walk up the rampway without turning back, as NXT ArRIVAL went off the air. ( 1:57) | WWE NXT ArRIVAL: 02/27/2014 RESULTS Bo Dallas def.
