Yes, so the time has come for me to do so. Any tips, suggestions?

Drybrush it... or if you're painting the skintone, you can try the old trick of using a colored pencil.

My advice would be cool at other figures and customs where the guys painted chest hair and try to imitate that. Dry brushing very lightly in the same direction works OK. Or if it's curly chest hair I would say it's OK to make it a little bit cartoony. It's better to under-do-it than over-do-it.

I use a stiff brush, put some paint on it, get the excess off and dab it on the chest. If there is a bit too much, use a towel and dab it a bit.
I said dab the most I've ever said it in my life

Colored pencil? Never expected that. More info please, HR2X! Well, basically you can just take a brown colored pencil and go back and forth over the torso. I think it only works on painted skintones.

Good, it'll be a painted skintone. If it's any indication, it's Sid Vicious... BANDWIDTH! Nick -- not sure I want to do that just yet. I want to stick with something simple, yet effective. But that should definitely be kept in mind.

Yup the key to painting chest hair...is not painting at all.
Colored pencil all the way.

HR2X & ultim8customs --
Ok. So, would it matter if I switched out the colored pencil for a lead pencil?
