But Bay didn't direct it..... I don't see anybody who hated Man Of Steel blaming executive producer Christopher Nolan....they blame Snyder. Its the exact same thing as blaming Bay for TMNT if you didn't like it. In that case just take out the first sentence then. My mistake Yours was a genuine mistake man......but there are heaps of people who know the score yet blame Bay wholeheartedly....

I can tell ya this I didn't......I don't worship at the altar of Nolan and wouldn't wish him on a light/fun loving property like the TMNT. Because for all his "greatness" he hasn't got f*cking clue one about making a fun movie. If anything I thought they were trying too hard to make it "Dark Knight with Turtles". No way man.. The movie was very self aware and made alot of jokes at it's own expense. It's one of the high notes of the movie actually, because as far as the Turtles go, they nailed their personalities.. It was also a Nickelodeon production. Yeah it was fine.. Movie about talking turtles that can fight crime and eat pizza.. Dunno what was really expected. I think people REALLY wanted 'TMNT: The Dark Knights' directed by Christopher Nolan. I can tell ya this I didn't......I don't worship at the altar of Nolan and wouldn't wish him on a light/fun loving property like the TMNT. Because for all his "greatness" he hasn't got f*cking clue one about making a fun movie. Before this movie went into production there were a ton of people wanting a "throwback" of sorts to the old dark, gritty Ninja Turtles from their early comic book days.. ALOT of people definitely wanted a 'Nolan-esque' realism.. I use Nolan for lack of a better explanation. You should let the Nolan thing go though, bro.. It's not worth the stress!! I know he said something ridiculous and his fans can be a real pain in the ass, but some things just aren't worth it.. I personally love Christopher Nolan, I don't worship him at the alter like alot of his fans, thinking he does no wrong.. He does, he has.. But the guy is still a phenomenal filmmaker. 3 of his movies are 3 of my all time favorite movies. At this point, I don't know why anyone expects that much from michael bay. I'd rate it like 65%. It was a fun mindless action movie with barely any story, but eh kept me entertained for the running time. But Bay didn't direct it..... I don't see anybody who hated Man Of Steel blaming executive producer Christopher Nolan.... they blame Snyder. Its the exact same thing as blaming Bay for TMNT if you didn't like it. I blame Goyer.

I've never liked Nolan man. Its zero to do with what he said or didn't say the other week. I find his work incredibly overrated and dislike his entire attitude.....long before DKR came to cinemas(which I liked except for the awful decision concerning Alfred) I watched a interview with him where he was incredibly rude and dismissive with the girl interviewing him about DKR. She(correctly) asked about how Ledgers demise effected the plot and he was very rude I thought and told a pack of lies when he said ledger was never planned to feature.....LOL yeah right. I also feel Goyer gets too much blame for things......he was the greatest thing since the burger during the Nolan Bat movies.....same people endorsed his writing for MOS.

It was a pretty bad movie but awesome to watch while completely wasted. There were two things that really bothered me with the movie. First is Aprils realization that these Turtles she is following are the same turtles she took care of as a kid. Like you would forget if you nurtured 4 mutant turtles as a kid that knew karate moves? Second was the 45 minute long scene going down a hill in NYC. I didn't know there was such a gigantic mountain in NYC

I learned years ago that the plot for the third Batman movie( before Ledger's death) was going to revolve around the trial of The Joker. So for Nolan to say that is a bit of a head scratcher.

Never been big on Superman, anyways, but -- I loved it, for what it was.

The new Turtles movie was the biggest heaping pile of sh*t I've paid money to see in the last decade. It was terrible.
It's getting a sequel though, so jokes on me.

I grew up in the 80s so I'm a pretty die hard TMNT can and I enjoyed the movie. Times have changed. It's stupid to think the film would be comparable to the older versions. I'll buy it when it hits bluray.

Jonathan Liebesman directed it.
You know, the guy behind 'Wrath Of The Titans'; i.e. 'Yet Another Movie That Didn't Need To Be Made'.
Haven't seen this yet and will probably only do so when my brother twists my arm to see it with him...

I thought Clash was pretty good when I saw it, but my brother saw Wrath and told me to avoid it because it was in his words "unbelievably bad".

I enjoyed Clash.....and Fiona LOVED it. So when Wrath came out I bought her the Blu Ray two pack for last Christmas.....she gave wrath to the charity shop in January. LOL.

I loved Turtles 1 and 2 and I think this new one is easily the 3rd best movie that TMNT has ever had.

I didnt really like this movie. I went to see it in August when it came out. That said, I'm not a Turtles fan. I have seen the 1st 2 movies and they arent that great either IMO. The love for those films mostly comes from nostalgia.

I thought it was a fun film. I always try to watch these things for the entertain/fun of it and don't expect to much from them.
