I really enjoyed it.
It should have been an hour long though.
I really hope they don't adopt Futurama into the Simpsons canon. I find it too depressing and bleak for the Simpsons world lol.
I'd give it an 8.5/10. I enjoyed Homer and Bender's chemistry, but I feel it should have just been longer to flesh more out.
I wish the Simpsons would stop hating on themselves too, personally I still love the show and always will...I watch it to alleviate stress and I dunno...just seeing them say stuff like "a show out if ideas teams up with a show out of episodes" bothers me a little. It's my favorite cartoon/show of all time and I still think they pump out stuff better than the average show.

Loved it. Could have been longer but beggers can't be choosers. The only thing I didn't really like was Scruffy shooting himself. Very out of character. I really enjoyed it. Anyways, I wouldn't worry about Futurama being part of Simpsons canon. Although I'm not a big follower of The Simpsons (crazy Futurama fan though), it is my understanding that the presence of the two aliens indicates a non-canon episode.

I thought it was okay. I enjoyed the Family Guy crossover more and that's coming from a guy who hates Family Guy and loves Futurama.

They only appear in the Treehouse of Horror's to my knowledge. Not to mention, Scruffy walking around headless just seems weird.

I thought it was great, but it certainly could've filled an hour.
Had quite a few legit LOL moments while watching it.

I'm a huge fan of both shows, but I just feel that their too different styles of humor for it to be in the same universe. I guess it shouldn't bother me, but I'd rather know that Springfield doesn't get destroyed along with the rest of the world due to an alien invasion like Futurama said in one episode lol

Edit: "The Man Who Came To Be Dinner" eh? I'm really, really, really hoping for a Russo swerve here. I just do not like the idea of them existing in the same world. Not to mention, it doesn't make sense seeing as the Simpsons went to New York during Fry's life and what not. I'm sure I'm over thinking this, but eh, it's my favorite show ha.

I like that it's canon. Plus Kang and Kodos have already appeared in a clip show which I believe is canon, although I could be wrong about that... I think in a world where Homer fell off a Gorge and lived, realism isn't that important. I've always wanted Kang and Kodos to appear in Futurama, so seeing them interact with Lrrr and Ndnd was a dream come true for me.

I just feel that they don't fit together right. And yeah, seeing Kang and Kodos with Lrrr and Ndnd was amazing and I was really happy about that part.

Seeing Seymour again, man all the feels everywhere. They actually retconned the sad seymour ending in the first Futurama movie. Seymour spent several more years with Fry, as Fry's time travel paradox went back and lived in the past for years.

Probably the best Simpsons episode in years. Very well done.
Actually, this whole season has been pretty strong. I don't know what's changed, but it's pretty good right now.

It seems to fluctuate quite a bit these days. Last couple of seasons were a bit weaker, but the couple before that were strong. It's generally been improved since they did the movie.

I feel the exact same way. The movie feels like the turning point. It's not what seasons 4-10 were, but it would be hard to expect it to be. It's reinventing itself to a degree and it's certainly better than seasons 14-18.
