How do I paint the crotch piece? When I try to, and then I move the legs, the paint peels off. What can I do to stop this?

I would say to seperate the crotch before painting it then allow it to dry thoroughly before reassembling it

Seperate the pieces, paint and seal. After the sealer tries, seal it again with super glue. Make sure it's dried before you put it back together. It's basically a protective coat over the paint and sealer.

If the crotch piece is really tight and scrapping against the joint, than maybe you should sand down one or the other so there's some space between the crotch and leg.
Otherwise you might want to paint it, let it dry, use some kind of sealer (or people recomend a thin layer of super glue applied with a toothpick) and let that dry before you move it.
