The new graphics and the smaller package size is nice. No reason to have so much waste and for the moc guys these have to be easier to store. The trend in action figures has been reduced packaging and I for one am glad.

JYD---Perfection. Kinda would like it to have the mustache from WM 3. But thats just a personal preference of mine. Figures a homerun Rollins--Relieved to see they didn't forget the gloves. As long as the vest fits well i'll be happy w/ it. Tag belt doesn't seem to be the right color...but i have enough of them anyway. The scan is good, glad i waited and didn't get the basic. Figure should have the e31 Ambrose shirt torso. And bigger arms since Seth is pretty jacked now. Of course i really want a current MITB version of Seth...but i really liked the Shield/Evolution feud and kinda glad this attire didn't get skipped. Roman---Love love love the new wristguards. Looks like he still doesn't have a fist for the Superman Punch. Thats a bummer, because closed right fists in that skintone aren't easy to come by. I'm all out of Papa Shango fists to swap onto this. Need a better pic of the face to judge the scan. Hair looks good. Belt..bleh. Just hope that the vest stays on tight. Batista---I dig the torso. Love the attire choice. Great to see that he finally has shoes on. Not thrilled about the black sharpie looking paint job on the head. Bald spot is a nice touch. Not in love w/ the lower leg area. He didn't wear blue knee pads. I see what they were going for...but it didn't work that well. Don't understand the choice of colors for the accessories. The vest should be black. Does a baby blue leather vest even exist, anywhere? And the cabbie hat should've been grey. The trunks should be a lighter color then the arms/legs. Which its understandable to save $$$ and just mold them in the same color, but they used the correct light blue for the vest & shoes? Cesaro---kind of a let down. The trophy looks great and sells the figure for me. Can't believe they didn't fix the torso/arms/legs. Not a fan of the scan, as far as i can tell. I'm cool with the attire. The WM 30 attire would make a lot more sense, but he did pretty much wear these trunks the whole summer. Wasn't a fan of the leg wraps on e23. But now i wish this figure had them...because Cesaro doesn't wear them anymore, and we could've just removed them and added our own knee pads for his current look. X-Pac---Also found this figure disappointing. The scan is good. And i'm happy that they molded new knee pads just for this figure. The torso and arms are just way too big. And the accessories and attire choice are bad. The four DX 2.0 Elites aren't bad, but they all need fix-ups, sadly. same. I feel like they really botched the DX figs.

Set looks amazing, sadly I don't have room for it. I'm familiar w/ JYD, but I'm not familiar with his feuds. Who's his main rival? I want X-Pac but he doesn't fit w/ my "original" DX nor does he really fit w/ just the outlaws. Bluetista is jaw dropping. I already have a custom Batista that I'm satisfied with however. Reigns looks great, but I have their original basics that I'm content with. Great job though Mattel.

Dude... They didn't use the right green for Pac. What the F? Yeah...really disappointing. And the scan somehow looks worse then the Jakks tongue sticking out one. It's funny, X-Pac was my most anticipated DX elite behind DX Shawn, and he's the worst executed out of all of them. |

^Road Dogg's figure had the same problem lacking lime green. (Elbow pads too.)
I wouldn't say X-pac is the worst DX figure. E23 HHH was the biggest letdown to me which was compounded by the sub-par purple basic that came later.

My paycheck hit this morning, so I was finally able to go in and pre-order Rollins and Reigns.
This is my first pre-order in years. I had sworn off pre-ordering in general because a) half the time the figures would show up at retail before my order arrived, and b) not knowing when the charges were actually going to hit my card was a pain in the ass. Ringside's business model of having the figures shipped directly from the factory by air and requiring payment up front for pre-orders solved those issues.
I have to limit my pre-ordering to "must haves" though. Figures I'm on the fence with like JYD will have to wait for retail.

I almost didn't order JYD because I like to display wrestlers w other wrestlers they feuded with, tagged with, existed with, etc.... Wikipedia lists his note able feuds with Ted Dibiase, Kampala, Ernie lad, butch reed and Bundy he left mid south wrestling in 1984 to go to the wwf until late 1988 his most notable wwf feuds were with Harley race, the funk brothers, Adrian Adonis, Ron bass, and Greg valentine Then he went to wcw briefly in 1990 where he feuded with ric flair and wrestled off and on until 1993 He will just make my 1988-1990 shelf until someone more active in that timeframe replaces him later, then he will probably become custom fodder or make a shelf of random wrestlers throughout the years. |

You are right, I am excited to add JYD to my collection, but I just don't feel he a "priority" for Mattel to make as he doesn't really fit with any other character they have given us so far. |
