Just grabbed 2 yesterday & thought that it was pretty cool, wouldn't mind seeing some more hybrid figures like this...while I love elites, I can't seem to get behind basics do the mainly the crappy leg articulation, if they made more hybrids I'd be inclined to buy more basics (although I won't hold my breath)

yea dont hold your breath playa.. MDT i think confirmed its just a limited type of run with the basics having elite leg articulation . but overall i like they did it that way.

I think he's great, I like that I can batter him more than most of my figures because he's pretty much all plastic and of course he's more flexible.
They could make the "new" Fandango like this and I wouldn't mind, hint hint matteldesignteam...

I think I want it! Didn't find basic 44 until last week and only saw Rollins and Big E. Hoping the set shows up more before too long.

The only reason he has that is because it saved them money to use a pre-existing mold. You're never going to see new elite-style leg molds for basics.

I got a Kane, yesterday. It's the articulation I was expecting when Mattel's takeover was announced. I wouldn't mind seeing figures in trunks and tights with that articulation. It would probably breathe some life into Basics and new figures with that type of articulation wouldn't look too out of placing standing next to older Basics. It's been 5 years. Even Hasbro tries to improve their articulation schemes.

I'd have liked it better if he had basic dress pants.

love it.
i rarely buy basics....but i had to have it.
I would buy a ton of basics if they had this articulation.
i just find the T-Crotch design; unacceptable and archaic in this modern era of action figures.

Dying for this fig. Looks completely badass. And I have a spare elite 10 kane torso, so I'll make it all elite articulated.

Got it to go with my eventual Authority setup a few weeks ago when Mattel Shop put it up during their 20% off and free shipping sale, or whatever that deal was. I think it's great honestly and I'm not even a big Kane guy.

Its a great figure. I haven't got it yet but it is wonderful to have a hybrid basic figure coming out.

I'm going to buy that white t-shirt for figures from Ringside Collectibles and turn this Kane into Jacob Goodnight. That is all.

Im one of the weird people that wish he had basic leg articulation. I just dont like anything about elites except the accessories. felt the same way about deluxe aggression

I'm not a huge fan of basics (outside of divas or certain superstars I like collecting), nor am I a huge Kane fan but this figure is really cool. Found it yesterday with k marts early bird deal and I love it. Not only is the hybrid style pretty cool in its own right, the head sculpt is great.

I took it apart already since I was going to do the same thing but it's a different peg on the pants. It's really low and I haven't seen anything like this before.

I just got one less than an hour ago. I'm not going to say I'm disappointed. Far from it, but does anybody else's have ridiculously loose legs? It puts a damper on an otherwise neat figure. Really like the headsculpt.

I saw it at the store last week and was majorly impressed. Wasn't planning on getting this one but I will now. For me it's the legs that usually kill the basics for me. I just put them on the shelf in a regular pose and I hate how the basics legs look, most of them anyway. If they continued this I would probably switch to all basics, unless the elite had a must have accessory, such as LOD pads or a title belt.
