Well, I was attempting to remove a head from an RA figure, when the ball joint peg ended up splitting in half. The one half of the peg is firmly stuck inside of the RA head, and I just wanted to know if anyone has encountered this issue before, and what they did and how well it worked in the end.
Would my best bet be to just super glue the other half of the peg back onto the half stuck, and hope it would dry so that the head would be able to go back onto the torso?
Or should I use the approach of attempting to use a screwdriver or any type of similar object to get the half stuck in the head out of its place, although I have my doubts on myself being able to get the peg out cleanly.
If anyone can give advice on what to do with the situation, that'd be great, and karma would be given if you would like. Thanks.

yeah its should be ok to glue it to the half in the head but be CAREFULL! not to glue the peg down to the head it should be fine since you need to glue ttl head pegs into the hollowed head
hope it works out ok!

im not sure glue would work too well, i could see it breaking off easily. i think you should try and get the peg out first and then glueing it to make sure you get stuck together well, then trying to put it back into a head neck

If you have a pair of needle nose pliers, just put the head in really hot water (just put some in a coffee cup and heat it up in the microwave for a couple minutes). This will make the head much more soft, and you SHOULD be able to remove the peg with the pliers.
This all depends on just how bad the peg is broken, and how much plastic is available for you to pull on. A screwdriver could work too, but would be a little harder I think.
Like stated above, it'd be best to hold off on any glue use, until you have the entire peg in front of you.

Thank you for the help guys.
I ended up using most of lowki's advice and heated the figure head and was able to stretch open the whole for which the peg was, just to enough to be able to get it out with a screwdriver.
Thanks for the great & quick help, and I'll give each of you karma for taking your time to reply.
