You won't want to miss the biggest BDW PPV event of the year! bdw.boards.net/thread/22/bdw-november-2-remember-1Notes: All matches go as originally planned. None...except Ryan/Mike Awesome were changed when I was editing them. My favorite match of the night was Mox/Pillman, though the actual best match had to be RVD/Jericho. This show isn't the best, nor is it that good, but it's the best thing I've ever put out.

First off I apologize for overlooking this show, secondly this show SHOULD have gotten way more replies regardless of how busy people are or not. This show REALLY impressed me!! Its always been laughable around here how some guys put out crap over and over again and get rave replies , and plenty of them, but something like this goes unnoticed. FANTASTIC work here!!! Long, thought out matches with really good psychology, really crisp pics and not too many blurry spots in the action. The Pillman vs whatever they are calling the shield kid now was superb!!!! Action all over the place backstage, audience it had it all!!! Blood effects to boot!!!! Everything!!!! and was one of the most enjoyable matches I have seen in awhile!!! Macho Man got superkicked!!!!! Reeves vs dibiase/awesome was good and really a great length. Punk vs Rhyno was yet again great great length and really had me invested throughout. A massive show to say the least and one of the few that actually felt PPV!!!
Congrats you should be proud and hopefully once it gets topped a few people get off their arses and leave a much deserved reply to this!!!!!!

Oright pal. I've not seen this fed before so here goes.
Punk as commentator is gonna be very good. Man you made your own entrance vids very cool concept. Ok so far i'm getting an ECW vibe feel from your fed which is extremely cool (No pun intended) And that's a very old Mankind figure ! Glad your doing the hype vids its stuff like that that make a good fed. Pillman and Ambrose would of been what hardcore fan dreams of. And you made the dream come true pal. Great match Not keen on you mixing Mattel's with DA's Great Raven seg. Love the Stevie custom ! As much as i hate youtube feds the match between Jericho and RVD was brilliantly done. Again RA and Mattel's don't work. Imo. But the Rhino Punk segment was done good. Rhino becoming champ is great in my book.
Great fed 9 - 10 pal. I'm not good with reviews that's why i do so little. But the bits that put me off was a few stiff shots i know basic's are had to pose. And RA & DA mix's other than that. Keep up the good work pal.

- Lovely focus on the first shot. - Entrance videos! Nice touch - The entrance stage looks like it has become unstuck? Is that intentional? - Printout belts work surprisingly sweet here, good job. - The blurry shot for the drop kick was a little off putting but it's hard to capture crystal clear stuff when aerial moves are being done - Lot going on in each shot for the first match, just a thought but a WWE style shooting focusing on select wrestlers might have allowed for a nicer focus on specific moves - As I say that you focus on some individual stuff! - Upside down crack smash! holy crap, cool move. - i.imgur.com/Lz174pfl.jpg <- awesome focus on this shot. Overall, I'd say this was a very sweet show. Hopefully you get more opinions on this soon because it's pretty good imo. I'd only say the entrance stage, barricades (cover them up, less obvious it's VHS tapes - I have to do this too! ) and some of the poses were a little off but apart from that this was solid. Nice stuff man!

Brick you have improved a ton since you started, and it shows in this ppv. Really solid poses, lots of action, the stories were advanced well, it really felt like ecw
There were really only two criticisms. You could use string, it would really elevate your posing, and every time there was a near fall, you had a commentator say "and oh"..that got old, mix that up a bit
But, those are minor things. Be proud man, this was good!

Really solid show. Felt a couple of the matches dragged a bit. Just got a little too long for their own good, but that's not a huge problem.
Moxley/Pillman was a bit stiff, but plenty of action there.
Loved the tag title match, because it had that chaotic ECW "half these teams aren't that good, but we'll keep throwing in more guys to distract you" vibe that I think you were probably going for. Loved the mix of guys and Funk is awesome.
I love a good Rhino push.
My only real complaint is the blurry shots. There were tons of them and they just throw the flow off for me. Some of the shots are in focus, but then one wrestler is totally blurry. It's off putting. And I do wish the commentary was a little easier to read at times. It needs to be brought to the forefront a bit, not sure how, just a critique I suppose. Some of your lines are comedy gold, but they get lost in the pics in the current presentation.
Anywho. Really strong PPV showing. Nobody else is putting out these kinds of shows, so you da man.

Thanks for all the sudden replies guys. I'll do my best to address them all @bigeviljohn Yeah, the Mox/Pillman match was great...definitely my favorite I've done so far. I really liked this show, though I felt it had too many "can't use string" cop out shots. There's probably going to be a few more in the future seeing as I still haven't figured out a good place for a makeshift tripod, but my acquiring of the E31 Rey flight stand is going to reduce the blurry shots. I was actually going to ask at some point in the discussion thread, how long is too long for a match? I realize when I started, I was told 60 pics was a good length, and 100 is usually the max I see around here. Then when I was making the show, I made the opener the shortest at 150, and then the longest was the 500 pic RVD/Jericho match. During my filming of BDW on TBS #? I decided I was going to do 2 shorter matches (60 pics, and 100. Possibly more depending on my enjoyment of filming said match) and two longer ones (150 pics to 350 depending on how much I enjoy filming said match). Still curious as to if these are too long though. Thanks for replying...and weirdly reviving the thread. CWE OWNERI woulda liked to do more with Punk as commentator, but eh. Feel I did a decent job with him here, but he'll never be used as a commentator again now I have a Joey Styles fig. The ECW vibe is very..very intentional. Hoping to pick up that new basic Mankind. What I really wanna pick up is RSC Cactus Jack but I don't want it enough to spend 35+ on him. I'm a fan of the hype vids as well, mostly because nearly every fed I've ever seen doesn't bother to get new viewers up to speed, or refresh the memories of longtime viewers. The only two DAs I use are Brian Lee and Mike Awesome. Both men are tall enough for me to be able to get away with...you'll never see a DA AJ Styles or RVD in my fed. The Raven promo is the first one I've really tried on, and I believe it came out well. Funny you should say you like the stevie custom, considering he was only a placeholder until I got a new one, seeing as my RA one had a broken arm. The only reason RVD VS Jericho was a video is because it was 500 pictures long. I didn't want to write commentary for 500 pics, and I definitely know no one wanted to read through 500 pics. Sorry you don't think RAs and Mattels work together, there's some figs I'd like mattels of but for the most part I'm fine with the RAs. Last note, Rhino didn't become champ. He's been champ since september I believe. Thanks for replying. attitudesbackThe entrance stage is something I really need to fix. I like the custom entrance videos, though they're more for the youtube versions of my shows..I use em for both anyway. I'm not too good at photographing multiman matches but I'm trying to get better...though it was kinda supposed to be an all out brawl with a whole bunch happening. I didn't really enjoy filming the match so I didn't want to focus individually on every move and have it be about 300 pics. I'd love to cover up the tapes, but the tapes used as barricades are from my actual collection, not just random tapes that were lying around. Thanks for replying. The Champ is Here!As previously stated, I haven't quite figured out a way to use string. I've done so before, but my makeshift tripod isn't very versatile in the types of pictures it takes. So far, the only shot it's worked on is RVD jumping off a titantron. The "and oh" thing is something Joey Styles did quite frequently, though he wasn't on commentary for this show so I don't know why I did it. Probably habit..thanks for the reply. @rwf So someone mentioned the matches being a little long...meh. I personally loved Mox/Pillman..but I'll agree it was a bit stiff. The whole tag thing you're describing is pretty much how the entire tag team division is being booked at the moment. I really could've done more with Funk (not just this match, as a whole) but eh, the match was what it was. I honestly didn't enjoy filming it all that much, but it was kind of a refreshing break filming a 100 pic match with no pacing after filming a 500 pic match that was slow for the first 300 pics. I honestly don't get the commentary getting hard to read thing, it's there under all the pics. Maybe before I started resizing them that'd make sense, don't know what you're talking about here. I do agree, way too many blurry cop out shots. Need to fix those. Thanks for replying everyone, didn't realize it'd get activity over a month later.

I do agree, way too many blurry cop out shots. Need to fix those. Some people like really long matches, I just don't. It's rare that anything can keep my attention for that long, but you've done it for the most part. I just think this got to be a little long after a bit. As for the commentary, here's an example of what I think would fix the commentary. Take it, leave it, tell me to F off, just thought I'd clarify and show you what I mean. Paul: Later on tonight, Brian Pillman will face Jon Moxley, in what might be one of their last matches, because the loser of the match will have to leave BDW forever. Punk: I'll be taking on Rhino...and I have no doubt tonight will be the end of The Network. Paul: I wouldn't be so sure Punk, Rhino's demolished Terry Funk, The Sandman, Raven, Pillman, and most recently Sabu! Punk: They're good and all, but I am the best in the world. No one can touch me, especially not those hardcore hasbeens. Punk: Besides my mentor Raven. That's just much easier to read for me. Adding in a few spaces, centering the pics, but keeping the commentary left aligned. And possibly bolding the names. Again, just a suggestion.
