There was a proto of an RA version; cant remember the series, but it was never made. I wanna say it was for RA9 and was replaced but I honestly cant remember

Oh man, this one still pisses me off. They made that Summerslam figure when the ruthless style was already developed but reverted back to an awful ttl mold. So he is in a series full of taller, better sculpted Ruthless figures.
Killer match, I'd love Mattel to make it in their Summerslam Heritage line at least with a new scan and Ryback's upper thighs. However, given the track record, they'll just paint his thighs black and give him the basic 1 scan with an unpainted beard but still leave it sculpted.

I seem to remember there was some story that he had to wear that gear because he had some sort of groin injury or something, was there any truth to that? It just looked odd. Then again, most of the gear he wore in 2003 looked a bit off as he experimented w/ different colors. I distinctly remember he wearing purple, red and blue trunks at different times.
