I hope they dont repackage him with a different name or gimmick, I kinda liked the gold standard heel gimmick, but he could do good in either face or heel.

I really like Shelton Benjamin, even if he's not a major draw, as a midcarder he fits in pretty well with Ziggler, Kidd, Cesaro, etc.

I love Benjamin, but he was nothing more than a spot junkie. At least Jeff had some semblance of a personality. Benjamin is probably the most gifted WWE athlete of the last decade but he has the personality of potato.

I never bought into Shelton Benjamin as a pure wrestling talent or on the microphone. I don't see him coming back to the WWE nonetheless as he seems to have built a stable employment at New Japan.

Doubt it. They also applied a trademark for 'MR KENNEDY' last month, I suppose he's going to be returning too?  ? If he came back the same way he left, I'd love that. Benjamin said himself he's fine in the midcard..we could use more z great wrestler midcarders. Which is exactly why they don't need him. Unless you want to be at the top then gtfo. I think his tweet pretty much sealed his fate if he comes back: The Bunny will be revealed to be Shelty B! Unfortunately Charlie Haas can't come back with him to help the tag team division because he retired forever or something during a (drunken) ROH show. Oh yeah he got sh*tfaced and retired. Nobody was expecting it. Hell I doubt Haas knew. |

They dropped the ball with him back with his short lived fued with HHH. He could've blown up, he's decent enough in the mic. Could've gone somewhere. They didn't see it or they didn't want it. Either way it's passed due, and he's almost 40. They got more talented guys than they'll ever need at this point. Stick with your home grown talent, and don't bring back Shelton. As great as I think he is, stick with who you got. Give NXT guys the spot.

I could care less if he can talk or not. Shelton vs Cesaro/Zayn/Rollins/Ziggler/Usos/Neville would more than be worth the price to bring him back IMO. Give me Shelton vs Cesaro in a 15 minute classic on Main Event and I'll be a happy camper.

He's 39 so this is probably his last chance to get in the WWE again. I couldn't see WWE having him back when he's 40 plus. I expect lots of great matches with Ziggler, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd and more. Maybe he could win the next money in the bank.

Love all of this hating on Shelton Benjamin and even guys like Morrison,Carlito...ect theirs nothing wrong in bring these men back.Yes their older now and wont be main event players but so what.The all can and have produce outstanding matches in their careers and can be great help to the tag team or mid card divisions.If Shelton can go at close to the level he once did even at 39 against guys like Ziggler,Rhodes,Cesaro,Rollins...ect would be awesome in terms of the matches and in ring work.
