All my comments were made in the NXT thread but this def needed its own thread. The show was amazing. Even Charlotte and Banks killed it. NXT is must see TV. Owens vs Zayn WILL be the fued of 2015.

I enjoyed last nights show just as much as I enjoy NXT every week. Best thing going in all of wrestling by a mile

Like I said in the NXT thread: Amazing show top to bottom. I can't sit through an episode of Raw or Smackdown anymore and just watch "This Week" on the Network or YouTube highlights to stay up to date but I tune in every week to watch NXT. I knew very little about Balor and Owens prior to them debuting but from their short time here I see I've been missing out. As much as a lot of these guys and girls deserve to be on the main roster I dread the day they get bumped up because I'm sure creative will fumble them around and it will only be matter of time before they are stuck going no where (Perfect example is Charlotte from Raw that Triple H wants us all to forget about). NXT just feels so fresh and entertaining. I get its supposed to be their "developmental" brand but this roster is killing on a constant basis. They say it all the time: the Future is now. And that describes that show/brand perfectly. Last point that someone else had pointed out, they didn't even use all the talent they have! WWE's future is in good hands.

WWE has all the talent they need to put on the best weekly show and they waste Raw on so much crap. I don't get how WM30 tops this for people, maybe its the feeling of spectacle. Overall I found WM30 really under par with what WWE can really do. Bryan's win was the only big joyous moment for me. Meanwhile NXT's only down moment was Roman Reigns for me, they really just should have let the NXT roster have their moment.

Now that Punk is basically gone for good, I wouldn't be shocked to see itami use the GTS.

Now that Punk is basically gone for good, I wouldn't be shocked to see itami use the GTS. I would, WWE want nothing to do with Punk and he's the one who made it famous in the WWE. It was a good show, I enjoyed the hell out of Devitt and Neville. Zayn is cool but I thought Owens should have stayed away for a while and actually built a name for himself before going after the champ. Tag match was cool, hoping for Enzo/Cass vs Lucha Dragons next. Corbin's shtick is getting old already, and Owens needs a new finisher.

Vince needs to retire already so Triple H can take over the main shows.

Weren't planning on watching Takeover last night, decided I would about 10 minutes before the show started, I do not regret it at all, definitely going to be watching NXT every week from here on out. Incredible.

There was nothing Sports Entertainment about NXT Takeover, pro wrestling at its finest. As far as wrestling from start to finish, its up there with WM 30. For me Wrestlemania 30 was more historically significant and had more "moments" (Hogan/Austin/Rock, 21-1, D-Bry's 2 matches) I like WM 30 because they didn't fill the 4 hours with a bunch of vignettes or unnecessary performances...I'm looking at you Brodus Clay's mom.
There are probably better individual matches in 2014 than Zayn vs. Neville, but the show overall was awesome. The in-ring action was great and talent was allowed to make reference to their pre-WWE careers (Hideo's GTS tease, Owens & Zayn, Finn Balor's bodypaint) Aside from WM 30 & Summerslam 2014, Takeover is the only show I've watched again in its entirety.
Triple H deserves a lot of credit for developing NXT but most of the guys on the show were already good before WWE/NXT including Finn, Owens, Hideo, Zayn, Neville.
I hope this inspires the main roster for TLC.

It's a good thing Hideo Itami had the humility and self-awareness to go to NXT, because man, he'd be a Sin Cara level flop if he went straight to main roster. Balor looked great though. Main event was awesome! And the Owens turn was brilliantly done, sets up the next chapter without missing a beat. There was nothing Sports Entertainment about NXT Takeover, pro wrestling at its finest. Lol. They're two terms for the exact same thing.

He needs another year or so at least. Then he will be a major player

Meanwhile NXT's only down moment was Roman Reigns for me, they really just should have let the NXT roster have their moment. The Roman Reigns segment did have a very important purpose. Reigns implied that if/when he wins the WWE Championship, the top guys on NXT can do the same. It sets the one that there is going to be string of talents who came from FCW/NXT who are future world champion's. Finn Bálor looked like a million bucks. I can see him main eventing a WrestleMania in the future. Planktung, I lost my **** as well. When Hideo Itami teased the GTS, I marked out big time. The fact the crowed popped huge speaks volumes. "This is wrestling" *clap*clap*clap* "This is wrestling" *clap*clap*clap* "This is wrestling" *clap*clap*clap* A simple crowd chant that explains why NXT is MUST SEE every week. For a two-hour special, R-Evolution left you wanting more and that is always a good thing. Much better than these bull**** disqualification finishes we see on most RAW main events. Something that is now a cliché. In the end, I'd rank R-Evolution higher than Arrival.

Well, all the NXT "Specials" were better than all the main roster's ppv in 2014, hands down. It's the taking care of all the details that makes NXT so special. Every character has a logic, a story behind and a purpose. Even every single entrance at R-Evolution was awesome. They should even reput Regal as GM of Raw. Why? Watch this.
