Yes! He was in baby blue trunks. Good memory, Axe! I had to hunt down my saved image. I thought it was a plain old Mr. T, but yep, it's a Clubber Lang, I guess. Did T wear the chains and such in his role as Clubber Lang? It's been YEARS since I watched Rocky III... Anyway, Jakks sculpted the chains, would've lead to a GREAT WM I Mr. T!! Wars Here's another pic of the Clubber figure.. I know the figure was released (with boxing shorts not the coochie cutters) but I never knew about the gold chains. As for him wearing them in the movie. The only time I recall him being in street clothes were at the Art Museum steps and during a TV interview and he didnt have them on in either, maybe that why Jakks scrapped them.

Looks nice, I would love a Mattel Mr T to put next to Hogan, Snuka, Piper, Orndorff and Orton. Isn't there some chance we could get him since they put him in the HOF last year? MDT? It would seem more likely now than before the HOF. HOF Target Series 2 with Mr T, battle pack with his mom down the road. I don't know if anyone else noticed but in that whole speech about his mother he never even told us her name, it was all about him, T's son, T's mama.

Personally I'm glad we didn't see Tyson, Mr. T or any other "celebrity" figure in classic superstars and I feel the same about Mattel's legend/flashback figures. I'd much rather see all figure slots used for wrestlers and wrestling personalities (and no, a celebrity just appearing at a wrestling event doesn't qualify them as a wrestling personality) Andy Kaufman doesn't count as a celebrity?

Its a custom. Its the Rocky line Clubber Lang head and the boots are also from the Rocky line. Reusing parts doesn't necessarily mean it's a custom, does it? I know it's a longshot, but maybe the unused Mr. T head became Clubber Lang. Because you're not wrong. They ended up reusing the Thunderlips headscan from the Rocky line on the Legends of the Ring Hulk Hogan to represent his look in NJPW.

It's unlikely the straight-faced Mr. T headscan was made for Classic Superstars, my reasoning being that the snarling Mr. T headscan couldn't have been used for the street gear Clubber since it shows a mouthguard doesn't it? Of course they could have made the straight-faced headscan with the idea of possibly reusing it for CS if they could sign the deal, but I think it was first and foremost made for the rocky line.
