Has anyone ever seen this or know it existed before? I wonder if it's real. It says it was a prototype for a three pack with hogan and snuka

Yeah, it's being sold by the same seller who has the nude Sable Playboy prototype. Click down a few threads and read about him in there. He's legit.

Cool figure. Wonder if it's a custom though.

Its a custom. Its the Rocky line Clubber Lang head and the boots are also from the Rocky line.

True but Im 90% sure that this WM1 3 pack was "rumored" to come out at the same time as the Orton/Piper/Orndorff one, the only problem is that the Rocky line had yet to be released yet.

I'm sure I've seen this posted before years ago, IIRC there was a lot of skepticism as to it's legitimacy.

Yeah, I definitely have seen threads about this figure before, a long time back. Reusing parts doesn't necessarily mean it's a custom, does it? True but Im 90% sure that this WM1 3 pack was "rumored" to come out at the same time as the Orton/Piper/Orndorff one, the only problem is that the Rocky line had yet to be released yet. Ah! Would the timeframes be way off?

Didn't we see a Jakks Mr. T with all his chains as a prototype WMI figure long ago?

Personally I'm glad we didn't see Tyson, Mr. T or any other "celebrity" figure in classic superstars and I feel the same about Mattel's legend/flashback figures. I'd much rather see all figure slots used for wrestlers and wrestling personalities (and no, a celebrity just appearing at a wrestling event doesn't qualify them as a wrestling personality)

Simply because of the impact they had on wrestling/wwf/wrestlemania. I realize he only competed in 2 events but Mr. T has much more of an impact on Pro Wrestling then someone like Sean O'Haire

I thought it was a plain old Mr. T, but yep, it's a Clubber Lang, I guess. Did T wear the chains and such in his role as Clubber Lang? It's been YEARS since I watched Rocky III... Anyway, Jakks sculpted the chains, would've lead to a GREAT WM I Mr. T!! Wars
