I guess you could bleach them and then dye them the color you want. Wouldn't really suggest it though, if I was to want different pants for my Sabu, I'd sew ones out of fabric.

Yeah that sounds like the right way to go. It depends on what color you want to dye them If it's a darker color, just color them with a fabric dye. If it's a lighter color you may have to bleach them first, but be careful because the bleach will weaken the fabric. It's what bleach does.
My advice is to go to a hobby shop, fabric store, or even a drug store (chemist) and buy a bottle of fabric dye (they are not expensive) and just read the instructions. It's that easy.
