Hey!
I was wondering what colours you guys and gals
use for skintone's ive tried like pink and alot of white and brown's
and white but nothing has worked.

I use Testors paint. For my Sid custom, the skintone came out almost the same as Jakks, and is very identical. Here's what I used: Skin Tone Tint Base-Lt Skin Tone Warm Tint Yellow Flat White All one part except white; I used two parts. www.testors.com/catalog_browse.asp?ictNbr=47All can be found in that link. I'm sure that in whatever brand of paint you use, there is a similar 'recipe' for a skin tone. |

I use folk art skintone colour. an there is also a colour called linen and I mix it with white it's good for a normal skintone.

Yeah you really have to play around with mixing. I hated doing skintone for the longest time, but I feel better about it recently.
Yellow, Orange, Brown, White, maybe a little tiny bit of pink, and mix.. My suggestion is to make sure you make a lot (mix it in a little cup) because its pretty much impossible to mix up the exact skintone twice, and also test it on a spare part and let it dry before you do your whole figure, because the color seems to get darker when it dries sometimes.

Deco Art Medium Flesh is pretty close to skintone, if you lighten it up just a bit, it should be pretty exact.

For my last custom I mixed about 60/40 Tamiya flesh tone and flat white with a few drops of brown in there. You just have to play around with it. I recommend mixing it in an empty paint bottle and make a lot of it so that you can use exactly the same color again if you need to.
Since you're in the UK I recommend going to a Games Workshop and getting a bottle of the Citadel paint "Elf Flesh". I've never found a better pre-mixed skin tone. It's awesome.

Yeah, man, I seriously recommend getting the pains from Games Workshop, they are just fantastic. I really can't recommend them enough.
