Smackdown opened with Hulk Hogan announcing he is the GM for the night. Seth Rollins came out and praised Hogan, saying he was the inspiration for Rollins to become a sports-entertainer. He then said that as much as it pains him, Hogan shouldn't be here and it's all about Seth in 2014. Hulk Hogan kicks off SmackDown to a big pop. He lets everyone know he's running SmackDown for the night. Seth Rollins interrupts and says Hogan is the reason he got into the business. Rollins then tells Hogan he needs to stop showing up because it's about Rollins now, not him. Dolph Ziggler comes out to defend Hogan. Big Show hits the ring and threatens to KO Ziggler and Hogan but Roman Reigns evens the odds. Hogan announces a tag match to headline the show.
*Ryback pinned Kane with Shellshock but was laid out by Rusev.
*Naomi pinned Alicia Fox with the Rear Window.
*Hulk Hogan told Rusev he was defending the U.S. title later.
*Adam Rose pinned R-Truth. No Bunny, so maybe there is an angle on Raw to kill him off?
*WWE U.S. champ Rusev fought Dean Ambrose to a no contest when Bray Wyatt interfered. There was a brawl that saw Ambrose eventually back off Wyatt.
*Jimmy Uso pinned The Miz.
*Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns defeated Big Show and Seth Rollins when Reigns pinned Rollins with a spear.
