According to Meltzer.
Cena would go over Lesnar leading to Rollins cashing in Cena.
The plan is to go forward with a Cena-Rollins program that would lead to the return of the Authority.

I'm all for it if Rollins goes over (long shot but he could) and if he maintains seriousness throughout.
Assuming it's Rollins v Reigns at Mania, he'd have just been in a feud with the biggest star and in one with the next biggest star. Not bad at all and really helpful for future feuds.

Why not roll with Rollins-Reigns as the ME of Mania? Elevate both guys at the Rumble.

I liked most of that except Cena winning the title. Especially since it would be magical #16 and it would be such a joke for it to last 30 seconds. Cena doesnt need to win, have Brock go over in a hard fought match and have Rollins cash in on Brock. I'd much rather prefer the potential Ambrose vs. Rollins vs. Reigns at Mania for the title with both Ambrose and Reigns chasing Rollins than the mess that would be Brock vs. Reigns.

I prefer if Seth Rollins cashed in on Brock Lesnar, similar to Night of Champions. I know Cena is going to win his 16th soon, but it shouldn't be a nonsense 5 minute reign.

I'm so conflicted here.....the thought of Cena tying ric at all disgusts me, and it being a 5 second reign on top of that makes it even more stomach churning. But the thought of Rollins curb stomping Cenas ing head through the briefcase and walking out one of the big 4 ppvs Champion is amazing

Then Taker losing at Mania was for nothing huh? If Lesnar is gonna lose in such a way the fact he broke the streak, (which is supposed to be kind of a big deal, right?) becomes pointless.

I see Reigns beating Lesnar at mania only to lose seconds later by a Rollims cash in. Rollins leaves WM31 WWE Champ
Rollins is way more ready for the big push than ANY babyface espeically his two shield counterparts. This is a perfect solution to the pickle they've got themselves in. Reigns can still "look strong" and have a mini moment , letting us know that he is the eventual future top Babyface , then Seth takes it all away from him and we have a champion who is actually ready for a big time run.

yes to that. That's what should have happened at Night of Champions. Instead we got months on end of meaningless matches that should have been over the title. Rollins should be the ball carrier right now. He's the top heel. He's the guy WWE needs, whether it be against Reigns, Cena, Ambrose or anyone else. Brock is an over priced commodity that is likely going to be gone come April. The Authority obviously needs to return and Rollins would then have everything in his corner from an established heel position. Rollins is being positioned at the next corporate champion or really just the next HHH. Cena tying Flair is the perfect moment to cement Rollins. WWE can make this big huge deal out of it, "he's finally done it!!!!" and Rollins can come down to crash the party. Plus, the 17th win is really going to be the big one for Cena. That will be the one that puts him at the top of the mountain all alone, passing Flair and everyone else. So they can afford to use the MITB cash-in at the expensive of Cena knotting it up with Flair, knowing that the next one is the monumental one. I'm a Flair fan, I think his record means more than what Cena has done, but history is written by the victors. WWE has marketed Cena as their most legendary star ever, as he's the guy they manufactured from scratch. So he is passing Ric Flair no matter what. I get not wanting to see Flair's record broken, but that's not the reality we live in right now. I'm onboard for virtually anything that gets the title around Rollins' waist. I'm not sure what that means for Mania but if this means WWE is willing to shake off this idea of Roman Reigns being the man, then ing awesome. Sting vs HHH seems like it's also set to happen so having the Authority return would likely need to happen in order to set that match up as well. Rollins vs Cena for the title, HHH vs Sting, Reigns vs Rusev, maybe Orton vs Brock finally. I'll take all of that if they can make it compelling.

Doubt it will happen. And it shouldn't.
Otherwise the last near-year build up for Lesnar has been for naught.

I like the idea of Rollins as champion. But not sure if I like this set up.
But I think I know why they are veering from Lesnar vs Reigns. I bet the reason is because they want Cena to get retribution before Brock leaves. They can't risk Cena looking weak to a guy who might be leaving and signing with UFC or Bellator.

I could see Cena beating Brock at the Rumble, as there's no way Brock is gonna do all of the press that comes with being the champion for Wrestlemania.
As far as Rollins cashing in, that should really be saved for Wrestlemania. It will make it feel a lot more special.

The problem with this is that if Rollins wins the title now, he's almost guaranteed to drop it before Wrestlemania. I just don't see them having Reigns win his first big title against Rollins. It's going to be either Cena or Lesnar. So, Rollins would essentially do nothing other than serve as a brief spark before getting fed to one or the other.

Oh boy we get to see more Seth Rollins vs. John Cena matches. -.- Probably in the minority but I actually like the Cena/Rollins matches. Reminds me of how Punk/Cena matches were in the early stages of the feud.

This is a better idea because when else could Rollins cash in. Most likely not after mania while reigns is champ. There's no point in Rollins cashing in and losing.
