Sony Playstation 2 Nintendo Gamecube
Sony Playstation 3 Nintendo Entertainment System
Nintendo 64 Sony Playstation
The only one that was really difficult for me was Wii Vs GBC and Playstation 3 Vs Genesis.

I apparently forgot how to math last round. There were only sixteen, not thirty-two. Regardless, the quarter-finals are up. I bet now is when it starts to get difficult to choose.

Super Nintendo Entertainment System - Tough for me to eliminate the GBC, but the SNES was just superior (though, for me the SNES would have lost to GameBoy Advance - can't beat a handheld system that's just as powerful as the SNES, plays just about all the passed GB games, and has remade/rereleased versions of all the top SNES games)
Sony Playstation 2 - Really tough to choose here, but the shear size and variety of the PS2 game library wins out. The controller was also a major factor in it's victory as the PS2 controller was just about flawless.
Sega Genesis - holy heck that was a tough one there. On one hand, the NES has such a great game library and is absolutely responsible for the rebirth of home video gaming (which was pretty much written off as dead when the NES launched). But, on the other hand, the Genesis was just about perfect with it's bright color palette, smooth frame rates, and a vast and variety game library of it's own (not to mention some really catchy music in games - I still find the Sonic The Hedgehog theme rattling around in my head sometimes). In the end, personal nostalgia wins the day for this matchup as the Sega Genesis was, is, and always will be my favorite game system.
Sony Playstation - This was actually a pretty easy choice for me. N64 was and is a great system, but the controller is terrible (IMO) and uncomfortable to use.

Some of that was hard. I loved my PS2, PS1, Gamecube and N64 all so much!

I was hoping we would have had one more vote come in because the N64 and PS1 are currently at a tie. For a tie-breaker we'll do first to three votes. I won't vote on this one unless there isn't anyone else voting and we're still stuck at a point.

Nintendo 64! Had the birth of the best Mario games (3d) and my favorite game series: Super Smash Bros.

PS2 Nintendo 64
Not difficult at all...while I have a soft spot for the SNES, no amount of good SNES games can beat the 12 years of good games the PS2's had. Have a genesis, but don't really care for it tbh
