* Edge and Christian kick off SmackDown. Edge apologizes for what happened on RAW but Christian says they're here to have fun. They're interrupted on the big screen by Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble getting out of a limousine in the back. The Stooges walk to the ring with a folder from The Authority. It says Seth Rollins and Big Show are not responsible for what happened on RAW. It also says The Authority has sent Mercury and Noble to oversee Edge and Christian tonight. Edge announces Ryback vs. Big Show and Rusev vs. Roman Reigns.
* Bray Wyatt defeated Erick Rowan in a solid opening match. Wyatt won with Sister Abigail.
* Wyatt cut a promo after the match and said Dean Ambrose will pay the ultimate price in Monday's Ambulance Match.
* Ryback vs. Big Show was a surprisingly good match with back and forth action. The Russian flag appears and out comes Rusev with Lana to distract, allowing Show to knock Ryback off the ropes. Show wins via count out. Rusev attacks Ryback after the match but Ryback clotheslines him out of the ring.
* Backstage, Jamie Noble went into the women's room and there was a scream with Edge getting a laugh at his expense.
* Cesaro and Tyson Kidd beat Los Matadores in a short match. Natalya looked a little bitter about Tyson celebrating with Cesaro and disregarding her.
* Dean Ambrose was shown on the big screen arriving at the building.
* Dean Ambrose fought Curtis Axel to an apparent no-contest. Ambrose put away Axel and then grabbed the mic. An ambulance backed into the arena and Ambrose spoke about what he intended to do to Bray Wyatt on Raw. Technically, the match didn't really happen, as there was no bell to start and thus no decision. It was just a crowd raiser and the promo was the best part of the night thus far. The crowd was really into it.
* The Ascension beat local wrestlers. The Ascension won quickly. An impressive performance. Good energy from them.
* The Usos and R-Truth defeated Stardust, Goldust and Adam Rose. A pretty nice match. Two of the Rosebuds tried to enter the ring afterward, but the Usos superkicked them.
* Backstage, J&J Security were packing items to get things ready for the return of The Authority. Edge and Christian drew all over Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's Muscle & Fitness magazine cover...
* Roman Reigns beat U.S. Champion Rusev by DQ. Big Show interfered for the DQ. Reigns and Show brawled at ringside, and Reigns dumped the broadcast table on Show. A good back and forth match to close the show.
