Well if it wasn't Cloth what about the painted on T-shirt or Rubber I think we get enough rubber and painted shirts as is. No need for an exclusive or boxed set without the cloth IMO.

Closest you might get if Walmart decides to make a box set of their t shirt series which would be painted on shirts instead of cloth or rubber.

Honestly between the L1, WM27(?), HOF, DM & RSC Exclusive (as well as the 3-4 Basics) I have enough Stone Cold figures. So I would probably pass.

Would people accept cloth shirts on Basic figures?
Kmart, Walmart, TRU and now(again) Target all have their own Mattel exclusives. Maybe it's time for WWE Shop to do something with Mattel, so long as they don't overprice them.
However, doing a t-shirt series with cloth shirts might hurt Walmarts 't-shirt series'. I don't think Mattel wants to risk upsetting a major partner.

I'm not that big into the t shirt series. My budget is limited and I'd rather save the money for bigger and better things.

The idea is nice and I think they'll probably sell better than the 6 pack rereleases, but not by much imo. I mean, there were awesome ones like the NWO and Hulk Still Rules boxed sets, and then there the iconic shelfwarming jakks street gear figures and Wiseguyz sets that would've sold better(imo) if the figures were just simply wearing wrestling gear. I think we kind of have the best execution of that idea in the Walmart series, one thing I'd like to see is an all NWO series with special white and black(or 3 red/black and 3 white/black) cards and transparent "spraypainted" nwo stickers on the bubble. If I had to take the same template of that Austin set and make it modern, I'd make a bare chested Harper w/ "soiled" tanktop, Bray w/ white and blueish Hawaiian shirt and Rowan w/ black jumpsuit.

Maybe as a holiday set with three Cena figures all in different shirts, but it's far from a sure thing even then and it's the kind of thing that hardcore collectors would hate.
