That's a shame. Always found him to be entertaining.

Shame, he was always entertaining. Forever Hooligans seems pretty over in Japan and they did good comedic spots. He did seem a bit tubby at Wrestle Kingdom though.

It must be because of those hellacious beatings he receieved from his mother while in Russia as a child.
Joking aside, it's sad to see him go. Forever Hooligans was one of the better Junior Tag Teams & he and Rocky seemed to have good chemistry in the ring.

So... why is he retiring? I get taking a sabbatical, but to call it quits before it really even started?

Ah, that's too bad. I worked a show with him here in the States and split a hotel room with him. I've also seen him work down in Mexico with AAA. He's a helluva wrestler and a cool dude.

It sucks to hear this. I've always found him entertaining ever since I saw him wrestle in AAA. I was so glad when he signed with WWE. I thought he had what it took to make it there. Too bad he got released, I was starting to like that tag team he had with Rusev before Rusev had his current gimmick.

I liked him a lot in AAA. The WWE would have just made him a jobber, which is too bad. I was hoping he would be back on ROH but he just didn't come back.

When was he in WWE? I'm guessing he was stick in the same developmental hell that Colt Cabana and countless others got such in.

Just think about ask the years of great wrestling we have been robbed of just because they don't know what to do with the plethora of amazing talent that passes through there.

Between Peter Orlov, Kassius Ohno, Kaval and The American Pitbulls... I wanna cry.

Well, the American Pitbulls were never signed were they? Just a one time appearance. I also don't think Kaval was used badly. The partnership with LayCool was entertaining as hell and he had a PPV IC Title match.

Yet you hear horror stories from released guys of certain talent that are "bungholes" and whatnot. So I've always believed there to be more to why Ki was released. Eddie and Davey were there for that appearance/try out. Only things I've heard were that Davey's both was the reason they weren't signed, which is a horrible reasoning. We've already heard/read that Hunter felt there was enough talent like the Wolves already on the roster... then went to sign on KENTA. Which again, is a horrible reasoning.

We've already heard/read that Hunter felt there was enough talent like the Wolves already on the roster... then went to sign on KENTA. Which again, is a horrible reasoning. I think Low Ki's attitude problem was cause he was impatient for a push. I'm pretty sure if he would have stayed longer, he could have gotten a little push. I bet the whole him losing almost every match thing was to test him on how he reacts to losing all the time backstage. They do this with a lot of people, unless the people in the back are so behind you that you're kept strong. Low Ki happened to fail the test, requested his release and got it. With the American Pitbulls/Wolves, I heard that Davey wanted to go to TNA, but Eddie Edwards wanted to go to WWE and Davey agreed to do the tryout on NXT just to please his partner, even though he didn't really want to go. I gotta say about Alex Koslov, I wish WWE didn't release the guy years ago. I think even though he would have stayed in development by the time they switched to NXT, he could have fit perfect with Rusev. I could almost imagine a feud between the two with Rusev turning face after Lana getting so effectuated with Peter Orlov that she turns on him and become the sole valet for Orlov. IMO Koslov had the charisma to make it. I wasn't convinced of that until I saw his promos in AAA.

Oh, I don't doubt that of Ki. Bryan lost every NXT match of his. I doubt that's because they didn't support him.
That's a shame that Davey/Eddie were split. That's the first I've heard about that. Only heard that Hunter felt the tots had enough guys of that style on the roster already.
Koslov won me over when I saw him in TNA, for the World Cup. Didn't see any promos, but the guy could work. I completely agree, wish he stayed for the move to NXT. Really think it would've benefited him in the long run. It's wrestling, though. Where you can retire and come out within the same year. Haha
