I wanna like Nicki Minaj I really do because she can indeed rap but when she makes songs like "Anaconda","Starships" and "Superbass" and "Stupid Hoe" it makes me pull back out of being a fan which is sad because she is talented. Now that Remy Ma is out hopefully she takesover real soon I still have yet to see another Top Female MC I liked since Missy Elliot.

I'm not gonna hate on your opinion, I personally would pick Lil Kim over her any day though.

Just picked up Wale new album, I really dig it. Nice of Jerry Seinfeld to appear and not even charge a dime. I really like " The white shoes" The girl on drugs" and "The god smile".

Can somebody recommend me oldschool HipHop Songs, similar to ''A Tribe called Quest-Midnight Maurers'' or CREAM by Wu-tang Clan? I like oldschool Rap, but I'm too lazy to search for it on YT haha

That's great, Thank you! Just a random question any songs there you liked? To be honest, I could only watch 3 of them because the German GEMA banned the videos haha, but I like WuTang and Jay-Z, thank you anyway, I'll listen to the other ones once I'm out of Germany again!

Neither of them are very good. Lil Kim always sucked and Nicki Minaj is only ever good as a guest on someone else's songs. Her verse in Kanye's "Monster" is a million times better than anything she has ever done on her own.

I personally believe Biggie was smart for putting her on, rap needed a female in the game for other females to want to listen to if you get me. Brings in money ect.

Lil Kim' indeed sucked. There were plenty of dope female emcee's in the biz without trash like her and Foxy Brown. Instants that come to mind are wombyn like MC Lyte, Bahamadia, Lady of Rage, Lauren Hill, Queen Latifah, Da Brat, Monie Lve, Yo-Yo, Conscious Sisters, etc. My examples vary from more lyrical based, to more flow based, or to more gangsta and beat oriented and some with those elements combined. All better than Lil' Kim by far. If you're actually interested in this here's a link to a post I made on the same subject of female emcees and some more depth along with dope songs linked to many of the emcees I listed above. I don't mean to keep posting but the song above reminded me of this, one of the best west side songs to ever be released IMO.

I miss Nate Dogg so much. He had the most angelic voice but his lyricism and flow complimented it so well. His involvement in songs like Regulate and Ain't No Fun are what made the songs tbh.
