something I was thinking about. since we're getting a non-nWo Macho Man this ear, would you be willing to buy, or even want, a pre-nWo Hulk Hogan to go with him?with his "HOGAN" headscarf and "HULKSTER" T- shirt. throw in a WHC Belt too. the big negative would be, other than the shirt and headscarf, his look really wouldn't be different from any other FB-style Hogan's we're getting. but a new, older headscan with longer hair would be in order as well. personally, I'd love one! make it an RSC exclusive. only new thing that they'd have to make that isn't already molded is a new head, so parts-wise it would be a cheap repaint. and most RSC exclusives have had new heads sculpted for them anyway ( WM20 Rey, both Punk's, Cactus Jack, Edge, upcoming HBK). and it would give us this without taking up a slot in the regular line on a niche figure that would probably only appeal to collector's, and even then not everyone.

I don't know if I'd buy it, but I'm not opposed to it.

I'd be all for it, but honestly I'd want a few specific details to be there. 1 a WCW logo. WWE doesn't nearly enough embrace the fact that they bought & own WCW. They bought the company, market more stuff as WCW when it is. If they were to market a Hogan figure from the WCW era, I'd want the package to say WCW. And the shirt & bandana, just like in the picture. And 2 - I'm sure it's a bit much to hope for, but I'd prefer the belt to not have the WWE logo at the top, along with adding "Hulk Hogan" in the name area too.
Basically I'm all for any Hulk Hogan figures being made. But what's the difference between one red & yellow Hogan vs another, if they're not truly going to express that it's WCW Hulk?

No. More than happy with the one we got. nWo is most likely the only other Elite Hogan I'll buy.

Btw, does anybody know why he dropped so much weight at that time?
I remember before he left wwf, they said during his title defense against Yokozuna that he dropped weight so he could move quicker, or something weird along those lines.
But yeah, I always thought he was weirdly skinny at the start of his wcw run

That was my least favorite of his looks, and he was skinny, but yes. I will buy every Hogan "look"

If the mattel made a WCW Hulk and it sold that opens the door for many more WCW versions of our other favorite superstars

Id love one and Id love for them to retool the Big Gold and make it the actual Big Gold and not the garbage with the WWE Logo on it.
