* Solomon Crowe defeated Jason Jordan in the dark match. January 21st: * William Regal announces the next Takeover special for February 11th. A tournament will be held to determine Sami Zayn's opponent for the NXT Title. Tye Dillinger comes out as does Sami, who beats Tye down before the bell. This leads to a promo between Sami and Regal. Sami begs to fight Kevin Owens right now. Sami says he will face the #1 contender whenever but he wants Owens. Regal makes Owens vs. Sami for Takeover. * Finn Balor defeated Curtis Axel in a tournament match. * Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte ended in a DQ when Becky Lynch hit the ring. Bayley made the save but Charlotte snatched her belt, which upset Bayley. Bayley laid out Charlotte. * Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defeated The Vaudevillians. * Hideo Itami defeated Tyler Breeze with a kick in a great tournament match. January 28th: * Adrian Neville defeated Tyson Kidd in a tournament match with Red Arrow. * Baron Corbin defeated Bull Dempsey in a tournament match. * Charlotte and Bayley vs. Sasha Banks and Becky ended when Bayley and Charlotte started fighting each other. * Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defeated Sin Cara and Kalisto to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions. * Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens do a contract signing for their Takeover match. Regal makes their match for the NXT Title because Owens demanded it. Fans chant "Sign Owens Sign" at him. February 4th: * Enzo Amore and Big Cass come out to introduce Carmella. She says Blue Pants isn't here but Emma is. Enzo, Cass and Carmella are over with the fans. Carmella defeats Emma by submission. * Adrian Neville defeated Baron Corbin in a tournament match. Bull Dempsey may have distracted Corbin from the crowd. * Bayley defeated Becky Lynch. After the match, Sasha got in Becky's face and Becky shoved her down. Charlotte came out, mocked them all and raised her title. * Finn Balor defeated Hideo Itami in a tournament match for the right to face Adrian Neville in the finals. This was an amazing match and the end of tonight's tapings. CREDIT: wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2015/0115/588564/live-spoilers-from-this-week-wwe-nxt-tv-tapings/

Looks like some pretty good matches. I'm looking forward to seeing the Balor/Itami match the most.

Team Thick winning the Tag Team Championships is insanely random, but I'll give their reign a chance. Should have been The Vaudevillians, I think. The card for TakeOver is marvelous.

I once saw Buddy Murphy wrestle live a couple years ago. I never thought he would get anywhere near the WWE, nor win any championships. Major congratulations to him.

New tag champs is really surprising, but there is some talent there and its a MILLION times better than when The Ascension were champs. Sounds like some good matches and the next Takeover is going to be insane.

Bandit - Heres another report from the tapings. Andrew Twiss - PWInsider.com - www.pwinsider.com/article/90860/complete-wwe-nxt-spoilers-from-full-sail-university.html?p=1Here are full spoilers from tonight's NXT taping: Dark match: Solomon Crowe defeated Jason Jordan. Before the show: William Regal, on the screen, announces a #1 contender tournament for the NXT title. Also, that Charlotte and Sasha Banks would fight for the title. Week 1 - Wednesday, January 21. - Tye Dillinger is out for a match when Sami Zayn comes out and destroys him. He demands Kevin Owens. William Regal comes out and after some arguing, agrees to a non title match for Takeover. - First Round #1 contender tournament match: Finn Balor defeated Curtis Axel. - Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks by dq after Becky Lynch interferes. Bayley makes the save, but after admiring the belt, she attacks Charlotte. William Regal comes out and makes a fatal 4 way for the title at Takeover. - Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defeated The Vaudevillains. - First Round #1 contender tournament match: Hideo Itami defeated Tyler Breeze. Week 2 - Wednesday, January 28. - First Round #1 contender tournament match: Adrian Neville defeated Tyson Kidd. - Bayley / Charlotte and Sasha / Becky went to a no contest. - Tag Team Championship Match: Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy defeated The Lucha Dragons to win the NXT Tag Team Championships. - First Round #1 contender tournament match : Baron Corbin defeated Bull Dempsey. - Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens had a contract signing to make their match at Takeover an NXT title match. Week 3 - Wednesday, February 4. - Carmella defeated Emma. - Semi final #1 contender tournament match: Adrian Neville defeated Baron Corbin after Bull Dempsey interferes. - Bayley defeated Becky Lynch. After the match, Sasha and Becky get into it. Charlotte comes out and they all stare each other down. - Semi Final #1 contender tournament match: Finn Balor defeated Hideo Itami. William Regal comes out and thanks the crowd. He announces a special tag match. - Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville defeated Tyson Kidd and Kevin Owens by dq. Owens lays out Sami. I am not sure if this is a dark match or not. It did have the full commentary team. Alex Riley seemed confused by the last match. He took his headset off but had to be informed that there was another match. This combined with Regal's speech to the crowd is why there is some confusion on the final tag match. NXT Takeover is February 11. TV Tapings are February 12 and February 18. Bandit - These two tapings will take us up to/include the NXT show scheduled for the Wednesday of Wrestlemania Week. Rumor - There will be an NXT card to be held during Wrestlemania Week - probably that Friday. It will either be a LIVE NXT Takeover Special or a NXT TV Taping. We could even have both - the LIVE NXT Takeover Special on Friday night and then say Saturday - tape like the next two weeks of NXT.

I'm not 100% sold on Balor fighting Itami already, but it sounds like a cracker of a match and as long as they continue aligning from time to time, I'm all for it.
Also glad to see the staff of NXT sees the potential in Finn already.
In all these tapings are on some unreal level. NXT is killings it on levels the main roster wishes.

Some awesome stuff coming up. Team Thick winning the belts is odd, but i like them, so it's ok. It really says a lot for NXT's tag division that I would be happy with any of them holding the belt. It's nice to see that Itami has been putting on top notch performances since REvolution. It was a rocky start, but I knew he'd find his footing. The switch to the yellow and brown helped. The tournament sounds like it will mostly be great. The only negative I see is the way they've handled Corbin vs. Dempsey. It started off well, but the first match was disappointingly short and decisive. I would have booked the first match a double count out, and the tournament match the same or double DQ. keep both guys looking even, as that's part of the point of the feud. Plus it would have avoided Corbin's loss to Neville, and given Neville the bye, which is interesting. Had they done those two matches like that, it could have set up a falls count anywhere match for the next special. have Corbin and Bull actually fight all over and it could have been very entertaining. In my mind it would sort of be like Brody vs. Abby, without the blood. In the end, I guess that's a minor complaint. But I like both guys and wish they'd had a better match this past week. Or at least one that built the feud more.

But I've been a fan since the 80s, so I really like guys that remind me of that time period. While Baron and Bull have a ways to go, they both fit that mold. Also, it would have been nice to see a falls count anywhere match that had a purpose.
