I don't usually buy many Basic figures, but ever since I saw the Basic Mankind, I have wanted him.
I found four today at two different Walmarts and ended up buying three of the four. I plan on displaying one plain along side my Elite Mankind, one with the Rock and Sock Connection jacket that came with DM Rock and customizing one with his referee shirt.
I just have to say that, for me anyway, this is, by far, the best Basic figure Mattel has ever made! I love it! If I am wrong, then what Basic is better? I haven't seen one

It's a great figure! If it's not the best then it's definitely up there
Just goes to show the improvement in Basics we got last year. Mankind, Hitman Punk, Series 41 Cesaro, Goldust, some awesome stuff

I love this figure! Awesome sculpt..... and the mask is removable, just a top quality Basic. Mattel's been hitting home runs with the Basic line for about a year now, and there are many more great ones coming!    |

It's gotta be way up there on the list of best basics. I like Hurricane, Best of 2010 Swoggle and b14 HBK, b14 Goldust and B16 Warrior as well.

I like this figure a lot.
The Amazon exclusive original attire figure is pretty good too IMO.

I'd probably put it in the top 20, would be higher if not for the small torso under the baggy shirt. Nevertheless still one of my favorite basics of 2014.

I want to agree that it's the best basic ever! Very surprised it has the removable mask. I plan on buying about 4 because I'm a huge Foley fan so for some reason I need multiples (not to resale either).

I picked up another one, so now I have three loose and one carded. I found it funny that his tie is brown to match his pants. I took it for granted that it was black like the Elite. Mick has to be color coordinated I guess. Can't take a leap off a cage if your tie and pants don't match! |

The best basic styled figure is the Entrance Greats Piper. But if it has to be from the main basic line I would say the SummerSlam Heritage Randy Orton.
