how much trouble would it be to just read the other 30 posts about this posted everyday? twist 3 strands of craft wire together then about every inch or so twist a shorter peice of wire around that.

Why would someone get real barbed wire just for figures thats ing stupid, it would be dangerous and wreck the figures.....what a dumb idea. Anyways i use staples and just bend the ends together.

Anyways i use staples and just bend the ends together. coming from someone who has worked with real barbed wire before (for a barbed wire baseball bat), I can tell you that real barbed wire would be the LAST thing you want to use for figures. For one, real barbed wire is very thick, and pretty hard to bend, then you've got the barbs. Anyone who has been poked with, or even touched the barbs, will tell you that it is not pleasent. My friend was holding the wire in place while we glued it to the bat, and ended up with a nasty gash, just from slight slippage. If anyone is actually thinking about using real barbed wire for figures, I'd be happy to post the pictures from my digital camera of my friend's hand after the wire, and how it basicly shreaded his bed sheets from laying on it. There's my anti-stupidity post for the day.

try cutting chicken wire with an box cutter Again, talking from exprience. Chicken wire is not much better than barbed wire. A box cutter is just a razor blade on a handle. One slip, and you're fingerless. cutting chicken wire results in the wire being extremely sharp. Best bet is to just use craft wire twisted together, then little pieces of the same wire twisted around as barbs
