To me she was/is one of the better divas, in ring wise and physique wise.
Also, am I the only one here who liked Ricky Ortiz? I thought he looked pretty cool...

I hate how bad wwe's treated her, her run in laycool was amazing and she should have still been treated like that instead of a jobber/dancing for fandango/etc. she's retiring within the next year or so too  Actually it's the other way around bud. I LOVE Layla but she got hurt and can't do much of anything in the ring anymore. Also she's pushing 40 and if she's not used for trashy fodder on the show she's really run out of things that they can do with her. There are less and less ideas left for her to do especially if she can't wrestle and any other woman in her position would have been wished well on her future endeavours by now.
She has not been released and when you look at the overall picture it should make you wonder why, as much as I like her. I think she's probably a little more protected than some of the other divas due to her close relationship with Michelle McCool and by default Undertaker. Michelle and Layla are still very tight and Michelle tweets about the two of them spending a lot of time together when they can. Layla stays at the Texas home of Michelle/Taker when in Austin and is a close family friend. It's most likely the reason wwe hasn't cut her altogether and are probably waiting for her to retire, move on in other directions with her life... which I can't figure out for the life of me why she hasn't done so yet.

It's time for her to go.She's pretty much done everything a diva can do on the roster she won the women's championship and divas championship,She's Main evented smackdown and also won the diva search she's pretty much accomplished alot and has had a pretty good run for a diva.

Layla's just quietly slipping into retirement. WWE Divas don't last as long as the male superstars.
Layla has been on WWE TV for about 9 years. Lita was full time for about 7 years and Trish about 6 years.

If she leaves I will miss her but it's going to happen someday no matter what. I just hope she doesn't vanish from the face of the planet and at least checks in on social media from time to time.
