As cool as the HoF Warrior facepaint is, I wanted to go for a little more accuracy. After searching the web (and this forum) I believe the Warrior repainted his face at some point during the day leading up to the match. The red parts are horizontal The red parts are vertical I prefer the horizontal look myself so that's what I went for. I used Citadel paints and a mix of Villejo satin and gloss varnishes to prevent chipping.
My next plan is to switch boots with a basic Warrior with cowboy boots, and possibly cutting off the bottom 2 layers of fringe from HoF Warrior's boots and attaching them to the basic's boots. I then hope to tidy this up with Aves Apoxie. Hopefully this will not remove the articulation from the ankle joint. Lastly, I absolutely love this headsculpt. I ordered one off of eBay to replace my RR91 Warrior head.

I guess this is gonna be something everyone starts doing now, lol, nice work, I did the vertical since that's what he used for the actual match, but glad u picked up on the difference, I had to point that out to a few ppl already, I just used the basic boots myself

Just when I think Mattel puts out a great figure, someone like yourself comes along and raises the bar. Very nicely done!

RE: 91 RR head, I thought the same thing. His hairstyle definitely was more 'poofy' at the Rumble (like this sculpt) than the 'wavy' kind of head used on the figure. Definitely look forward to pics of yours when that's finished.
