I'm not cancelling my Network subscription because of NXT, but I seriously hope that number is true, if not greater.

I will not be canceling my subscription, but I think if people really want to send a message to WWE, they should cancel. Hit them where it hurts.

Considering they only had like 677.000 at last report, I don't fully believe this total.

If you cancel your subscription then WWE is going to start hurting financially....Now I know you're saying "Thats the point" well the problem is that when that happens they're not going to trim the fat by doing things to Cena, Orton, Triple H etc...They're going to trim the fat of the "no name" guys in the company....which will be NXT which is exactly what most of you clamor for.

I think they got that total from a pic someone made mocking the WWE "did you know" thing. It was around that number I think. Really strongly doubt that many people have stopped subscribing.

im starting to think cancelling will just affect everything ELSE besides RAW & Smackdown & PPVs
so maybe it's not the best idea. because in the end

NXT would probably be downgraded to once a month, that's provided it stayed on.

The thing I'm perplexed about is the role Triple H has in this. We have some notion that this is primarily Vince's doing and his final say; I wonder what HHH has to say about these booking decisions and his justifications for them.

In what world are the fans "the true Gods"... And also in none of those worlds would Vince and and Co EVER fear a few thousand pissed off, pouty little brat fans... Good god some fans are so delusional.

It's amusing to me how many people do not understand "vote with your wallet" and instead think this is an attack on the WWE Network's value or even Roman Reigns himself as an individual. WWE will not go under if 200k people unsubscribe from The Network. The whole point of this is to directly impact them for their questionable decision making and refusal to properly utilize organically made stars. If a substantial amount of people unsubscribe and if critical social media trends make news headlines, they'll have to directly face the facts that force feeding people things THEY want over things the paying customers want may not be a good business strategy going forward. They listen to dollars and to an extent crowd response. If you enjoy their product and don't mind having stars decided ahead of time at the expense of others who got over on their own volition, by all means, ignore this whole thing and continue to enjoy WWE's direction.
