I don't care what it's called or not called as long as it's a damn good show.

Pretty dumb. Doubt It will hold up in the long run. What are they going to do years from now when they are interviewing legends of this era?
"Remember back at WrestleMania Lone Star?"
Or
"My match at WrestleMania Play Button was my all time favorite."
The year or number will be back eventually IMO.

I was actually wondering where the #'s were, looking at the WM32 press conference photos.
This could possibly get confusing....

Wrestling fans hate two things above all else:
1) The same old thing all the time. 2) Any kind of change at all.

Wrestlemania was in 1985. Whatever they made a joke out of it with WM2000 and 25th anniversary too. It could be worse, they could have scrapped the name and logo altogether. Vince is always on his 'it's not wrestling it's sports entertainment' kick and yet his premier event is called Wrestlemania, you'd think it was in peril too. The kind of silliness that reminds me of the alternate WWE title redesigns. Imagine if number 6 was actually the title they used... by gawd. Number one would be sweet if it wasn't Hogan's colours. As for the numbers thing, it seems pretty dumb to change it.

Real confusing. That'd never work. People could never remember a wrestling event by year, the company is doomed. Anyway, let's get back to discussing how WWE went against fan wishes at the Royal Rumble 2015, just like they did at the Royal Rumble 2014.

I would rather discuss how WWE should have used a pair of jeans in this year's logo rather than a play button given the event is at Levi's Stadium.

Its nice that Vince has his head on straight and is dealing with the pertinent hot button issues within WWE with all the trademark urgency that he is famous for.......
Also? F*ck off Vince.

Such a trivial thing to worry about; I mean everyone will refer to it by number, so yeah I dont know why this is even an issue. Like Vince is seriously starting to seem like he's losing it, he needs to stop being so damn stubborn and maybe ride off into the sunset.
Plus if anything, the numbers HELP the prestige of the event and make it sound more important - it's just another thing that makes Mania special and different to every other PPV in the year.

Why wouldn't you want to establish your most meaningful event as an event that levels with the Super Bowl in terms of what it means to your business.. No WrestleMania 50? No WrestleMania 75?
WrestleMania is the only event the WWE puts on year to year that TRULY stands out from their overcrowded lineup. And once they take the numbering away which in a sense is taking some of the legacy of that event it'll be just another pay-per-view on the calender.
It's cliche. But CM Punk was right, the WWE will be better off once Vince McMahon dies.

Let them refer to it and advertise it however they want....they change things constantly like most businesses.... We can still call it Wrestlemania 31....so long as the card is good hopefully.

The change is not a big deal. The reasoning is pretty dumb though. You know why WrestleMania sounds like it's 30 years old? Because it is.
This does solve that worry about what happens when they reach the 2000th year so we don't get WrestleMania 2000 again.

I won't be watching the Super Bowl this year. It's the 49th one and that's just way too many for me. I mean can you believe people have been watching that sh*t since 1967? You would think people would find something else to do. Plus, it's not like it's different every year or some kind of spectacle to watch the Super Bowl. So I'm just out on all of that nonsense. - Said ing no one, ever.
