I watch NXT, then I watch this interview. I question things.

Hunter saying that he would not have been ready when he was set to win King of the Ring in '96, but felt that he was more ready later on. Great, Hunter. Now apply that to Roman Reigns because it's the same damn thing. This. A million times over.

But there's no need to turn him heel either.Roman Reigns publicly said on Raw last week in that interview that he doesn't hate the fans and they paid there hard earn money to cheer for whoever they want so for him to turn heel now because a bunch of people are booing him wouldn't make sense. He gets it he knows why there booing him they feel like he isn't ready so now he's gonna prove why he deserves this opportunity. Again, I don't see him turning heel. I agree with that. I'm saying that I can see people thinking that because of the crowd reaction. With John Cena, they can't afford it because he was the top guy. Roman Reigns isn't yet, because Cena is around. It's why a guy like CM PUnk was able to turn heel. I don't see it happening, but it could. I Wasn't trying to say that I thought you personally said he should turn heel I was just seeing why some other people automatically assume he's gonna turn. Why can't we have two guys who are faces or heels face off and not expect someone to turn? I think roman is playing his character very well he's definitely not this generic babyface that smile and waves to the crowd like a lot of other people do.

There is absolutely no possible way these are Austin's questions.

He might be being phony or kind of desperate with not much to say. It's a lot of word salad so far. The Vince podcast was riveting. Tell me more about pool shenanigans.

He came off well tonight except for the cheesy "I don't get mad, I get even" line. Cringeworthy. But yes, if Roman is going to stay face, he needs to be a badass because the fairy tale "suffering succotash" guy doesn't fit him.

No, you wouldn't, Trips. Meeting and marrying Stephanie was the best thing that ever happened to your career.

I know I'm alone in this, but I hope Reigns wins at Fast Lane. Honestly, I would love to see the match yhat the closing segment from last week was building to. It was a good segment (big thanks to Heyman). Also, last year the fans getting Bryan into the main event was cool. This year is a little annoying to me. And if the booing gets Bryan back in the Mania main event this year, then no one is ever going to be able to win a Royal Rumble again, because everyone is just gonna boooo to try to get Bryan written into it again. And honestly Bryan was who I wanted to win the Rumble. But since he didn't I would rather see the Reigns vs Lesnar match that was being built at the end of Raw last week and the Bryan vs Ziggler match that has been rumored this past week. I think Bryan vs Ziggler would be a better match than Bryan vs Lesnar anyways. Bryan is the hottest star in wrestling right now. The fans have chosen him to be "the man." The only annoying thing is the wwe refusing to get behind him. This is the equivalent of Austin becoming the hottest star in'97 but if Vince had refused to get behind him. The fact the wwe blatantly refuses to push him only makes the fans backing of him stronger. Also while the top star Austin won 3 rumbles in 5 years. I don't see whats annoying with the fans supporting there chosen hero in his prime. Other stars will rise in the future, but right now Bryan is the hero of the masses and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.

This has become a 30 minute HHH nostalgia trip. Just like every opening to RAW for the past two years. More like the past 13 years.

That's right, HHH, steer the convo to your baby. God forbid you admit anything.

Hunter isn't the first person to do it and won't be the last, but I really dislike whenever people refer to younger or less-established talent as "kid."

HHH was over with me by Summerslam 99, I'll say that. And he surprised me in the big changes he was able to make between SS 98 and 99.
I bet if you could get him to be really honest one on one, he'd be like, 'I have no idea what I'm doing, I just really wanted to bang Steph.'

For anybody that missed it, HHH pretty plainly said that Daniel Bryan was not originally part of the WM30 main event plans and that they changed course on the fly after the Rumble. So for anyone who was still clinging to the notion that they were booking that long-term... time to let that go.

These questions are being so manipulated. Why, HHH, why?
