I'm not usually one for messing with tradition but I think this one needs to go. To hell with that! Royal Rumble is the only entertaining PPV other than WrestleMania. The only thing that needs to go is their crappy creative team. If they ever dropped the Royal Rumble all together, that might be my breaking point where I say "WWE, I'm done". |

No, I meant that the winner of the Rumble shouldn't automatically headline WrestleMania. Not to get rid of the Royal Rumble match myself. That would be one of the dumbest moves WWE could make. I'd rather see Roman Reigns become the new Super Cena than to see them get rid of the Royal Rumble. |

I'm not usually one for messing with tradition but I think this one needs to go. The Royal Rumble forces WWE to book themselves into a corner. Of the [usually] 30 competitors, it's obvious that at least 25 have zero chance of winning. So why are they even out there? It's the only modern form of a squash match that people still find acceptable. They need to make it the platform for pushing be people, like the Kind of the Ring was used for with Austin, HHH and Mankind (that was an amazing feud), etc. The Royal Rumble is the best event of the year. If they got rid of it, I think it's very likely I wouldn't watch the product at all. |

all they have done is make Rumble "just another" PPV. unlike it used to be, which was a close 2nd to WM. They have de-valued it to the point its watered down.

I just went back and looked at my original post and you're right. I started to get to that point toward the end of my post with the line about using it as a platform to push new talent.
