Yeah that doesn't sound right. So I messaged the reddit guy to see what he said. He never came here posting advertisements or links, he came here to clear up the rumors about the line like confirmed stars and what type of figs they are. RSC got mad about it so the company stopped coming here. He said he's just doing his job and wants the real info out there so if they wound up doing business in the future he'd gladly come back here to post information for us.

 For anyone who didn't see it and doesn't want to take the time to look for it.. Looks pretty good. Didn't they say that the sculptor was an artist for NECA and the current head sculptor for FTC's Mego style figures? So this might be a hand sculpt rather than a scan. I'm fine with that, despite the unrealistic doll bodies on the Mego styled figures, the hand-sculpted heads are really top notch. |

Yeah they said before all heads are sculpts not scans and that the company sculptor came from NECA. Same guy that does the superheroes etc

Yeah they said before all heads are sculpts not scans and that the company sculptor came from NECA. Same guy that does the superheroes etc Yep....and his work is excellent, I think we will be getting some really good figures. |

I'll reserve proper judgement on how good the sculpts are until they do someone I know really well. I'm just not familiar enough with the ROH guys or New Jack to really give a proper opinion.

You're right that it grows a lot, but that's part of the reason why I'm frustrated with it - we don't learn anything substantive. It just keeps growing because people keep posting about the same damn thing over and over. I see a bunch of new posts and I think I should come check it out cause maybe we got a release date, some proto images or something, but nope - it's just the same 3 guys either arguing about some guy from the 70s being included in the legends line or Chip telling us there's no news yet. |

They can tell me they've signed all these names and then show off a bunch of figures that have the quality of naked Mark Henry, and I'm not going to get excited about the line.  (I know the figures are almost assuredly to be better than that, I'm just using that as a worst-case scenario). Also, every new character announcement gets met with 15 guys replying with "that's nice but I want more Legends announced" or "I'd rather see X first." What does that add to the discussion? (Don't give me, "we're on a message board blah blah blah," honestly). |

They announced the lines were coming and said that they have to announce all the names first and that production barely just started. New Jack is probably the first of the sculpts. I forget that some people keep expecting full figure prototypes in the first month haha its the same old story with that. |
