I wouldn't mind Big Show so much if they stopped putting him against big guys. Nobody wants to see Henry and Show fight anymore.

That's what I'm saying. They shouldn't be the focal point of anything. But Kane as one half of a tag team or something like that could still work I think. I don't think Kane contributes anything anymore really. I hate to say that too because he was my favorite wrestler from 1998-2003. You could literally fill his spot with (insert big guy here) and it wouldn't make a difference. Big Show could still be an attraction had he been booked to be one from the start. I'd be fine if Show was a part timer and wrestled a handful of matches per year. You can't possibly say that Kane should go and Big Show should stay as a part timer. Kane is a more valuable and reliable worker than the Big Show. He constantly puts over young guys and is well liked and respected by the other wrestlers.
Big Show however just isn't interesting. For years he has came out to silence and fans just don't care about him. He isn't a draw, and doesn't serve a purpose on the roster unlike Kane. He doesn't really put guys over either because look at Eric Rowan. He fought him on a PPV, a Raw and several house shows and Rowan didn't defeat him once. A 43 year old has-been buried a young wrestler which is ridiculous in my opinion were Kane on the other hand would've put him over nicely.
Also booked properly Kane could still be a draw. For instance if he were to turned on the Authority I bet the fans would go crazy and if he re masked again he would sell merchandise.
I admit Kane isn't the same as he used to be but as I stated above he is more useful to the company than The Big Show.

I don't think it's the right comparison of Big Show and Kane being pushed over people like Bryan, Ambrose and Ziggler. It's 2 different things. Ultimately you need to have strong looking protagonists to go against the "good guys". What's sad is that you have the Big Show and Kane constantly in main event programming over other potential top protagonists like a Bad News Barrett or Bray Wyatt or even a Damien Sandow or Rusev...

Sure I can. They have stripped Kane of everything that made him remotely interesting or unique. He is now just "big guy in dress slacks #3" which is a VERY expendable position and could be filled by any generic big guy. I'm no Big Show fan, at all...but his size alone is a draw and, if booked properly, could still be used on a part time basis to get more mileage out of him.

At this point they might as well start spelling Kane with some accent marks and pronouncing it Kayne. I'm not kidding. It couldn't do any more damage to him than what they've already done. I'm sure they could turn it into some kind of angle. I know I am going to get heat for saying this but both Big Show and Kane really need to hang up the boots and call it a career. I cringe when I see the both of them on my tele week-after-week. I don't think you'll get any heat over that. There was a thread about this recently and if I remember correctly, the general consensus is that it's time for them to go.
