It seems as if though the Big Show and Kane are two of the WWE Superstars who tend to be pushed and protected over guys like Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, and Dolph Ziggler as of late. Let's face it: both of them were booked strong in past Royal Rumble matches and get title shot after title shot. I know that both Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn like them because of their size and look but these two men are in the 40's yet are still getting pushed. Your thoughts?

They're big and imposing. They look powerful to kids. They're larger than life, or could maybe considered that. Even though Kane is a boring idiot that won't wear his mask. Their characters are larger than life...I think. I don't know.

I think they're not getting pushed enough. They need to push them harder, just like they need to push Cena. I swear Cena doesn't ever get any title shots/opportunities.

The Kane the OP is talking about is a different Kane to the one who gets beaten by Bryan/Reigns/Cena every week. At least, I presume so. Has to be, right? |

Kane isn't really protected at all. He's more of enhancement talent these days. Show can be believably built up quick so when someone gets a win over him, it looks better.

Big Show hasn't nearly been the monster he should/could have been. FACT!

I know I am going to get heat for saying this but both Big Show and Kane really need to hang up the boots and call it a career. I cringe when I see the both of them on my tele week-after-week. marino13, the sad part about the Big Show is they jobbed him right out of the gate against Steve Austin. |

They come out to silence, they don't draw, and there old. But they have DA LOOK so it's okay. Kane could stay, if he goes back to tag teaming/more serious role but Big Show can piss off, he ruined Cody's push, ruined the SES, ruined pretty much everything he's ever been a part of for me, Jerishow was his career highlight. |

Do you even watch ths show? Or do you go, "what absurd thread can i make this week?" seriously Show and Kane don't get pushes...they put young talent over. Unless we don't watch the same WWE

We're all looking at it through our wrestling knowledge. We know they are old slow guys.
But for kids and casual fans they immediately know that Show and Kane are a threat. Either due to their size or their name.

Kane has been an upper tier jobber since 1999......Show has fared a bit better(several world title runs) but not much.
In essence they are dug up when Vince needs believable guys for somebody to beat or when he needs them to beat somebody. Are they well past it? yes they are.....BUT both are fulfilling a purpose at the moment(muscle for the Authority) so its all good.
Keep Corp Kane around(hes good as the stooge) but cycle out Show and replace him with Barrett and Sheamus.
