I didn't get into collecting till last year when Elites most places were 17.99 at Wal-more or a buck or two more at TRU or Target. I am just curious how much the Legends line were at retail? And also curious how much like the exclusive 2 pack Bushwhackers was at TRU? Reason I ask, is cause I am trying to justify spending a certain amount on getting Bushwhackers. Ebay has had some MOC but with shipping its been between 55 and 65 bucks. Which I try to justify by saying well, its getting 2 figs, so its like $30 each shipped...which is still cheaper than buying a ringside figure on preorder...

If I remember right, Legends were between $15-$20 at the time of release. The Bushwackers are amazing figures and perfectly capture their likeness. The TRU two-packs I think were about $30 at the time and later went on clearance.
If you can get the Bushwackers MOC for $55, and it's worth it to you, go for it. It's tough finding them with their hats and together.

The Legends TRU packs were 29.99 originally then reduced to 19.99
Legends were 14.99 at TRU. Walmart had them (at least at myn) 15.97 or 16.97 I do believe. Don't remember how much Kmart's HOF ones were, I think maybe 14.99 to 17.99 Family Dollar got some for 10 bucks each
Big Lots had some for 11 each

It's a great set. $60 shipped seems fair considering I doubt we'll be getting any new versions released anytime soon

Pretty sure $12.99 was the cost of Legends at first. The 2-Packs were $29.99 but were a buy 2 get 1 free sale from the start. Then they dropped to $24.99 and finally $19.99.

Pretty sure $12.99 was the cost of Legends at first. If they kept their prices from inflating (in my opinion unnecessarily) They would be selling even the shelf warmers now. Parents are not going to pay 19.99 for elites and 24.99 for defining moments. They are going to get basics for their kids

My only problem with the Bushwackers is that their torso seem too small. I know Luke & Butch were only 10-20lbs heavier then Bret Hart but they looked A LOT rounder in the belly welly as Dusty puts it.

I found some of the new ML Odin wave at Target the other day and thought Odin looked cool. But at $25+ for a figure I just got the Hawkeye (the one I really wanted) and left the Iron Fist and other figure and decided not to build Odin. At that price I have got to love the character to buy it now. lol

Elites and Legends were $14.99 at most stores near me. That lasted for nearly the first 2 years. When TRU was the only retailer carrying the Legends line (for series 5 & 6, I think), they usually had them at $12.99. The 2pks were $30, then eventually started dropping in price as they began to pegwarm. And it seemed like there was a permanent BOGO sale on those, too. The All-Star 2pks hovered around $25 most of the time.

Legends were $15 pretty much everywhere, then TRU had Legends 5 & 6 for $13. Around Legends 3, Target cut the prices to about a third of the original, and Kmart had so much of the original Hall of Fame mix that some places had them for a mere $3-4 per figure. I remember paying that for Steamboat.
Keep in mind that this was at at time where people were still used to the Jakks CS pricing model of around $12-13 per classic figure, so the $15 pricepoint in 2010/2011 was seen as a premium opposed to how we'd look at it now. TRU had the Legends 2-packs for $30. It dwindled down once they couldn't get them to move.

I got the Bushwhackers on eBay last month for $25 shipped from a seller in Portland. No hats, but the figures were in like new condition.
There are always great deals to be had, but you've got to be patient and wait for the right one to come along. it can take several weeks, and sometimes even a couple of months, but you'll end paying a lot less for the same figure.
