Come on guys AJ Styles was ranked #1 wrestler in 2010. He has more talent than the majority of the WWE roster and half of the NXT roster. I honestly rank Styles over Daniel Bryan, because Daniel Bryan has still yet to preform a 5-star match. I highly disagree, both his match at Summerslam 2013 and against Triple H are five star matches in my book. Both saw immense drama, technical ability, story telling, and had you wondering throughout the match. Neither Bryan or Styles possess much charisma, but AJ has that annoying southern twang, is 4 years older than Bryan, and hasn't worked a schedule as intense as Bryan's in a long time. |

I would agree with that on Styles but I think Bryan is exceptional on the mic. Especially as a heel. He has his moments, but he's too inconsistent for me to say he's great on the mic. Sometimes he's fantastic, sometimes he's awful. I do agree as a heel he kills it. |

I just wish he cut his long hair and go back to having the look he had when he was World Heavyweight Champion. AJ Styles is okay in the mic, but he's a bit better when he's a heel as well. Actually I say Styles and Daniel are both great at being heels. |

Personally, I'd rather see him stay in New Japan. I want them to take a serious shot at expanding their business in America. They're off to a great start but they've got a long way to go.

the guy has absolutely no character. he'd do well in nxt, but i can't see him making it in the drama infested wwe. Agreed he would be awesome in NXT. However, if he gets the fans behind him he would do well in WWE. Just look at Daniel Bryan. The fans are the reason why he's a mega-star. WWE wanted to make him a Wyatt, but the fans refused to boo him. AJ Styles could get over in the WWE if the fans decided to love him. i'm not disagreeing that if given the chance aj could get over, i simply feel that he would not be given the opportunity to shine and that they'd most likely saddle him with a silly character/gimmick. |

They have enough sports entertainers as it is; and AJ is one of the best pro wrestlers in the world; multi time IWGP champ...
He's absolutely fine where he is.

I like AJ, but to echo most people in this thread, he doesn't really need to go to WWE at this point.
Really the only reason I'd want him to is for a mattel figure

Except they shouldn't. The WWE is so different from TNA and NJPW that if he signed with WWE, he would spend the rest of his career as a mid carder. AJ made a wise decision by signing with TNA early in his career, because they put him on the map. He wouldn't have gotten half the opportunities he got in TNA if he signed with WWE. Can you imagine WWE letting 3 cruiser weights main event a PPV? No.

He's just gonna stay with Japan, ROH, Jarrett's promotion and any other indy. I'm sure he's making good money, never short of bookings and can work wherever he wants. It's a shame 'cos I would love to see him WWE. Ideally, showing up as the IWGP Champion. Making a little working relationship between WWE and New Japan. Yeah, fantasy booking.

I love AJ Styles. I don't think he's the best wrestler in the world but he's among my favorites. That being said, I'm totally happy with him being the IWGP Champion. This is for you on page one Planktung |
