IMO a guy that is even worse than Cena should not even be near the Intercontinental Title ! So Cena should hold the WWE title forever and Abeyance should hold the Intercontinental title forever? |

1 Good Match against a Person that carried him trough the Match does not make him Wrestlemania Main Event worthy! IMO a guy that is even worse than Cena should not even be near the Intercontinental Title ! I think Roman could pull kids out of a burning building and people would say that Bryan carried him and the kids. |

I don't have faith in Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. It could be a fun brawl if booked right and I hope that's the case. I would have preferred Bryan by a longshot, but I'm not "butthurt" in any way. The match itself was damn good and I enjoyed the show last night.

Why does it have to be Bryan or Reigns? Why can't it be both? All I know, and all I really care about, is that I was thoroughly entertained last night by both Bryan AND Reigns. That in and of itself is hard enough to come by these days, so why ruin it?
Was it a "Loser Goes Back to NXT" match? Was it a "Loser Gets Buried on the Midcard and Never Main-Events Again" match? A month from now when Wrestlemania is over, will it really matter if the belt is on Lesnar, Rollins, Bryan, or Reigns? All four will continue to main-event (assuming Lesnar re-signs), all four will continue to get paid, and barring injury, I'm pretty sure that all four will have title reigns at some point over the next 18 to 24 months.
As far as whether or not Reigns has acquired the skill set to main event Wrestlemania and possibly have a run as world champion, let's not forget that the WWE was built around Hulk Hogan.
Just imagine if there had been an internet, an IFC, and a Reality Era in 1984...

Last night I was disappointed with how the match ended. I'm a Roman Reigns fan, but I don't feel he should be in the main event of Wrestlemania with Lesnar. I would have liked if either Bryan won the match and then Vince McMahon came out a week or two later and added Roman Reigns in the match due to the "board of directors" demanding that the winner of the Rumble be in the main event, despite losing to Bryan. I would have even accepted a double countout. Have Roman Reigns spear Daniel Bryan through the barricade, the referee counts to 10, double countout, they could still have the "board of directors" put Bryan in the main event due to the technicality, you have your Wrestlemania. Instead, now we have Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns. The problem with that match is Roman Reigns is not ready to carry the match and though Brock Lesnar IMO is good enough to have a good match with Reigns, the match is basically going to be Lesnar dominating and then Reigns overcoming the odds and winning. That would have made more sense if it were Bryan in that situation. Again, I'm a fan of Roman Reigns, but he's not ready for the spot they're giving him. I'm not gonna turn on Roman Reigns because of how they pushing him. I'll be on the "let's wait and see" bandwagon.

Bryan, Rollins and Ambrose are part if the future, so is Reigns. He showed last night he's at least capable of a good match, which is basically the best we can hope for right now. Cesaro has no business being in the WWE title hunt, so that's irrelevant. Reigns has the look of a top guy. Give him some time, he's getting better. |

This is just like Tom Magee. Bret Hart carried him through a match and Vince thinks that this clown is going to be his next huge star. But then when the chosen one gets into the ring with someone who isn't a world class performer, he gets exposed.

I think everyone gets it now. Everyone realizes how hard we were on Roman and how even though Bryan is amazing, Roman is their guy. It could be a lot worse. Reigns actually has a lot of upside and I feel we still haven't seen even close to his best work yet.

I like Roman Reigns, but Seth and Ambrose should be in line before him. Out of the 3 Shield members Roman is the worst, I understand Seth has the briefcase but I just don't see the same in Reigns as I do in Ambrose and Rollins. Reigns isn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination but I hope I'm wrong and he and Brock have a great match. In my expectation, he'll be booed worse than Batista winning the Rumble if he beats Brock and the fact they made us believe that Bryan would be in the match is a kick in the bollocks.
I see Roman as Cena mark 2, and look how well that's doing 10 years later. I'd rather he went Heel as its something different from "the next Cena" that would be fresher.

When someone who is known for having crapmatches finally has a good match with someone who happens to be known by a LOT of people as the best wrestler in the world today, you can accurately describe that as being carried. Let's atleast hope Roman learned something. Hopefully someone can teach him how to sell too.
