After Roman's match with D-Bry. I'm now IMPRESSED! If he is going to be the next Cena and the face of the WWE. I'm okay with this. The guy showed today he can work! Brock vs. Reigns has my attention. I do believe that Roman will be the heel in the match against Brock because everyone will cheer Lesnar. I still think Roman is now the "next" guy to be the face of the WWE after Cena. Mania 32. Cena vs. Roman.. John officially passes the torch to Roman.

He had a good match. That doesn't suddenly make his booking, character, or mic skills tolerable.
So no thanks, I don't think I'll be "embracing the empire" any time soon.

Danielson gave Reigns the best match of his career. He needed it. I hope that rub gives Roman more confidence in putting on good matches. Like him or hate him. Roman has IMPROVED a TON! I give the man credit. |

Danielson gave Reigns the best match of his career. Shocker. He did it last year too. The fact he can carry someone this bad to a "good" match, means he should be going in to WM to face Brock. It's just that much sadder. |

If he turned out to be Wolverine, I wouldn't be surprised from how quickly he came back from what they were selling as a possible "stomach injury". This isn't 1989, it's super unbelievable. |

Daniel Bryan has proven time and time again that he is more popular than Roman Reigns. He is more believable than Roman Reigns. Whether it be a wwe.com poll, WWE Supercards people's champion, merchandise, or every arena they've been in, Daniel Bryan is a better choice than Roman Reigns.
I truly didn't believe that WWE could be this stupid twice. Even teasing Bryan vs Brock was a direct spit in the face of the fans.
Save us Seth Rollins.

Roman Reigns had a good match with Daniel Bryan. That much is true. It does NOT in any way indicate that he is ready to main event WrestleMania right now. He's average in the ring and below average on the microphone. Neither will change within the next five weeks.
Going ahead with Brock vs. Roman is a mistake.

I've said it before I'm a fan of the guy but this isn't his time. Brock had proven he needs a good opponent to put on a good match. All his HHH matches were duds, Taker (uderstandable) and even when he took the title. Sure, it was awesome but not technically a good match.
Where does Roman go from here? Stumbling over his words for ten years while pretending he's a face? Most of the crowd even tonight didn't want to see this even after a good match. Do thy turn him to heel?
I think even if he wins the title next month he's got a uphill battle. A big one. I feel bad for him.

Don't get me wrong, I think Reigns was great tonight. But I still don't think he's there quite yet in terms of being WWE Champion. There's just something missing to me. What I would like to see is Reigns look strong vs Lesnar, Lesnar win, Rollins cash in and win the title, and for Seth and Roman to feud until Summerslam where Reigns wins. By that time, Reigns should be 100% ready. Definitely a great match between him and Bryan tonight.
