I was in Albany NY today and saw the new WM series at TRU (got taker). There was 5 Kanes and 2 Takers. Interesting note a few had flesh color shoulder joint and the others had black color. But my problem (and why i passed) was the horrific paint job. Kanes torso had two varied shades of red and red paint spots and black paint spots every where... This was similar with the basic 2 pack Warrior/Cena Warrior. I had looked and passed on about 20 sets until I found a decent one. Over the last few months I have noticed more paint issues than the rest of the run. Anyone else encounter this Kane figure like that yet?

I haven't seen that Kane in person yet, but I have encountered the spotty paint apps a whole lot. It's bad, because you can't see the backs. You pick out something that looks dead mint from the front but the paint is all messed up on the back when you open it.
I haven't bought a figure on a while where I didn't have to scratch excess paint off of it. Most baffling is when there is a color slop on a figure that isn't even a color used on it.

Yeah I found Kane today and they had an OK paint job. I hate having to look through 3 or 4 figures and picking the best one because of how bad the paint is on some

Isn't he supposed to have two shades of red on his chest? Its the see through part of the flames i think.

I got x-pac in the mail today and he had two spots missing on his eyebrows and a speck on his nose and on his cheek. Urgh!

The Quality Control has really declined over the years.

I found 3 Kane and 3 Taker yesterday. Had to inspect them all before taking 1 of each. 1/3 Kane figs at TRU had the flesh colored arm joint! 2/3 Taker figs had terribly painted faces.
Its getting dangerous to order online. Come on mattel, we have been here since day 1! Its clear to see that the quality control has gone down and the prices have gone up! I just saw that Target raised the price of HOF figs to $20.99! R u serious bro??!!!

I'm from overseas and most of my figures are bought online. It's devastating when you pay so much for a figure plus the expensive shipping and then when you received it it got quality issues and very lowsy paint apps. Talk about incomplete eyebrows, missing paint, paint blotch everywhere. Sometimes I end up buying a new one which sucks. Common Mattel these are expensive figures. Improve your quality!

This is discouraging. I would have been fine if they stayed in the oven a little longer if it meant overall better quality.

The paint jobs seem to just keep getting worse. I found 2 cases of the new battle packs (HHH/Bryan, Usos, Outlaws, can't remember the series #) at Kmart yesterday and there wasn't a single set in either case that didn't have paint smears on the face, boots, or chest. I ended up buying the best looking Outlaw set out of fear of not finding them again, but passed on the other two sets, both of which I intended on getting. When I opened the Outlaws, Road Dogg had a huge green paint streak on the back of his shirt to go along with the four or five black dots on his face. I'm sorry, but for the price we are paying for these things, this should not be happening. I can understand a quality control problem here or there, but its getting out of hand.

Battle Pack Series 32; but anyway, I may not have seen that bad of paint jobs? Maybe you guys are getting bad batches? I have an E26 Warrior and E30 Luger loose, both may have some sort of paint where it's not supposed to be, etc, but maybe not as bad as you guys are seeing?
