Alright Brick. Been awhile since I've viewed one of your shows. First off, much better pic quality and arena setup. Opening match was good. Nice use of Harper. I enjoyed the tag team match and confrontation after. The Fuji guy is a cool addition but I have no idea who he is other than I'm assuming he looks like Christian, lol. I'll have to google him. Wasn't feeling the whole job squad thing nor the overall ecw feel, but that's just a personal preference. That said, you've captured the essence well. The poses are still a little wonky at times but getting better since my last view. All in all, you've captured my interest enough to keep me coming back to check out the next show:). Continue the progression my friend:)

I liked it. The poses are a little off but I would say it's only 5% at the very maximum. The commentary humor isn't necessarily to my taste because it makes it very obvious it's not a genuine fed, but I think it's important to have it because it definitely separates this show from others. I also think it helps to build the overall feel of ECW by using such humor. The arena is clean too. It does a good job at the ECW feel and I did enjoy the ending, not spoiling it for anyone who hasn't read it yet (hate when people give away a huge moment in a show like that) but the ending was very cool. Unrelated note but the Kofi shirt on RVD works well, that's actually quite a good idea. You also seem to have a very solid mid card too, who put on some good matches. There were so many little things I noticed like the Heyman ECW hat and I think it's things like that that make this really a complete feel of ECW. Nice work man! Hope to see Raven soon too, a very interesting character there!

Great show yet again Brick! You have really come a long way in your last few shows I'm proud of you. You have some of if not the most crisp pics on the board right now. Your arena is really good and I gotta tell you your posing is pretty good. So many guys are using those Mattels and hardly getting any feeling out of them with bending the joints and stuff, they just look like they are falling all over each other, but you seem to really be getting the most out of them I think. Your fed is also starting to be the most fun fed to watch on here, you and MXW for me. The commentary, backstage vignettes, quirky character development and instead of ripping off ECW you seem to kinda continued the show vibe instead of copying it, which for me is KEY in a great pic fed and missing from many feds on the board today. I am seeing some of the same roster in other feds like Brody lee and RVD but the rest of your crew is really fresh especially the way you are portraying them. You stick to your story and never waver, changing things, second guessing yourself which is the sign and cornerstone of a great fed.
A supposed to be 'joke' fed turned out to be really really well done. Besides a few blurry shots I think yet again your show has risen above itself to separate it from the pack and I really enjoyed it!
Great job yet again.
Edit: I do have one gripe, can you tuck those string knots behind the turnbuckles for your next show? I know its being really nitpicky and swarmy but it just so kills it for me!

I liked the Chikara/high school gym joke during Brodie's entrance. This should be a pretty interesting match, I'm hoping it won't be a squash. Poses in this are great so far, I'm really liking that flashback Rey figure. Decent TV length match, and Rey didn't get totally destroyed, but I liked Brodie looking strong.
Surely it isn't just me that leaves the theme playing during a Gangstas match? Doesn't feel right without it. Nice brawl, I got a kick out of using the Johnny Jeter figure for Mike Mondo although I'm not sure why.
That Ricky Fuji figure looks great, and is interesting given the discussion about people using the same characters this week - nice to see someone totally out of left field. Enjoyed this match, and all the pin reversals looked great. Great match, surprised to see Fuji get the win.
Confused about Snow attacking Noble, maybe I missed something there. Curious to see as to why Raven "no-showed". Another good match, and the "messiah" thing seems interesting. I hope it's Judias Mesias, just for the hell of it.
Main event segment was different to what I expected, but Sabu coming back was cool.
Really liked this show, every BDW show just seems to improve on the last. Great feuds going, and I'm excited to see where they end up.

This show was really awesome Brick. You've improved so much man from coming as intentionally bad fed into a pretty good fed. Good for you man. You should drop the "B" and just call it "DW" Because it is Decent Wrestling now! I saw so much improvement in posing and even the way you space your matches. I felt you've even improved on the writing of the show and I am finally getting invested in the characters. Awesome stuff Brick, just work on posing a bit more (You improved so much man!) and maybe do less self loathing of the company jokes, but then again isn't that your style. -Brodie vs. Rey was AWESOME MAN! I love Brodie and I am really enjoying you using him! Loved that Yoshihiko reference. Hahah Trucker Ant, that appeals to my humour! LARIATTO! Posing was really good, especially in this match. This was your best match man, keep up the good work Extreme Ant! -Love the Horseman idea. Waiting for Paul Roma to show up. That Fuji Cameo was awesome, I am loving him in BDW so much so far. -The Gangsta's squash was cool.. Nice end, really like this feud. - Fuji vs. Y2J was cool. I am intrigued with the Gladiator. Posing was a bit stiff in this match. Love the Fujster. -JOB Squad vs. CM Punk was cool. Weird ass Al Snow... -SABU AND RVD TEAMING!!!@!!!!!!!! Awesome show man, good stuff. Only real thing is to work on Posing. Good stuff. Also if anyone didn't leave the Gangsta's theme on when New Jack was cooking some funky beat down's they didn't truly watch the show.

deskjetThanks for taking the time to give your thoughts. attitudesbackI appreciate the praise, but some of your comments don't make too much sense to me. Mainly when you said the humor helped build to the overall feel of ECW. ECW's commentary was mostly serious (save Joel Gertner), so I don't see what you're getting at here. Also, "makes it obvious it's not a genuine fed"? The commentary has a very slight amount of humor in it, because I like making jokes. I pretty much take all the humor I was tempted to put into other segments, and stick it in the commentary, don't see how commentary with a sense of humor means it's not a genuine fed. Regardless, I appreciate that you took the time to give your thoughts. @dracula1 I use RVD, because how am I supposed to have an ECW fed without him? Brodie's not necessarily a must have member of the roster, but he's one of the guys who woulda been in ECW had it lasted longer, so I decided to include him once I got him. It's nice to hear you say good about my posing, but I'm not entirely proud of it just yet. Though I did like how I made it through an entire show without one nonsensical pose (besides the powerbomb transition pic that got corrupted). Might tuck the knots into the turnbuckle pad, cause I agree with you, doesn't look the best. Thanks for responding to the show, means a lot coming from you. slowgraffitiOnly crazy people don't leave the theme on during a Gangstas match...lol. I actually made a mistake by calling Johnny "Mike Mondo", wasn't just me slapping a jobber name on him, but eh. Ricky Fuji's still a WIP (hopefully I'll be able to give him one of his great tight designs at some point). Don't think anyone's used Fuji before, and I'll be surprised if anyone else uses him. Personally a big fan of him, so when I got the opportunity to use him in BDW, I went for it. Thought the commentary explained the Job Squad situation well enough (guess I shouldn't've cut out those 7 pulp fiction promos), Jamie Noble knocked head out of Snow's hand, and he snapped...implying that Head is the one in control. The idea with the lights cutting out and Raven no-showing twice in a row is to lead up to the eventual appearance of the person interfering in the matches...whether it be Raven, or a higher power. Thanks for giving your thoughts. WickedI kinda toned down the self loathing jokes, and focused more on the running jokes and subtle references. There was still some in there, but not an abundance like previous shows (most notably BDW #8, where the commentators pretty much hated the show, since I did as well). Surprised people liked Brodie vs Rey that much, especially you, as it was a rather short match. The Rogue Horsemen is an angle I'm looking forward to playing out. I'm also surprised you enjoyed Fuji, as I really have no clue how he talks...since the only promos of his that seem to exist are in Japanese. Gangstas squash was a favorite of mine during filming...due to the stabbing spot..lol. Might continue having Mike Awesome wear the facepaint (for now it's just washable marker, as I'm not sure whether or not I'd want only just a Gladiator), might not. Truth be told, I didn't actually plan for Sabu to return during the main event segment, but it turned out pretty well, so I'm glad I stuck him in there. Thanks for the replies everyone. Rather unexpected to get so many so soon... glad to see the board's getting more active.

@brickandyozen I think you really captured the essence of Fuji's character, maybe get a translator for him and have some horrible yet funny translations. I love that you use the gangsta's! I popped big for Big E's, Truth's and D'Von's theme, Huge pop for DMX! I would love tot see Rhyno and Awesome vs. Sabu and RVD.

It'd be funny to insert some comic relief in the form of a translator for Ricky, but it'd be inaccurate, as he knows english from his time in the Canadian indies Now when I get around to other native japanese talents, I might just have to go that route, or just avoid having them talk completely. Rhino/Awesome vs RVD/Sabu is a great idea. Was going to have Rogue Horsemen fight the Network in the main event of the next BDW episode, but it makes more sense for The Network to fight RVD and Sabu after Sabu's surprise return.

Pillman turned on the Network at N2R, and formed the Rogue Horsemen at the last episode of BDW

Great poses. You're turning into one of the best posers around.
MIKE AWESOME! Sweet.
You make the Gangstas interesting. Dunno how. But you've managed to focus on them consistently since the beginning and it's fun to see the hardcore blood brawls. Even if generally I hate these guys lol.
Commentary just sort of faded off after a while. Frankly, I think you have about 800 too many pictures per show, but I'm sure I'll be in the minority there.
The Rogue Horsemen bit was brilliant.
Fun seeing Sabu return. Was he the one turning out the lights in the previous match too?
Brodie Lee versus Mysterio was my favorite match. It was long but didn't really drag. Everything else got a bit long for me, but it's your show.
Good stuff man, keep it up!

Funny you should say it was 800 pictures too long, because if it was your preferred length, it'd be -300 pics long lol. I want to have decent matches, and cram in all the story development I need, which is why there's 500 pics. I understand not liking the length though. Commentary got weaker during Punk/Noble because I had a horrible headache and wanted to get the show out yesterday. No, Sabu didn't turn out the lights in the Punk/Noble match. Not going to answer who did, but I can tell you it wasn't Sabu. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Nice to hear I made the Gangstas interesting...probably helps that I give New Jack a wider variety of moves.

Well giving New Jack any moves would be a wider variety of moves, haha.
I figured it wasn't Sabu, but that just opens me up to level another complaint. Heh. I kinda wish that hadn't happened so soon after with Sabu. Just having two lights out segs close together like that. But I'm sure it was more just a match placement issue.
No worries on the amount of pics, it's just a difference of preference. I know a billion pics used to the be the main flavor around here. I'm a less is more guy.
Thankfully you have a lot of really nice poses and fun pictures to look at.

What I meant about a genuine fed is that it doesn't sound real when you mention a no armed Triple H figure, or Heyman saying pictures didn't process. It takes away from the world we are supposed to immerse ourselves in. Nothing against the integrity of the fed. It's like me saying "the crowd printouts are live tonight! great crowd!". Genuine is the wrong word, I think it's more about how 'real' this is.

-Opener made Brodie Lee look very strong. Rey kept hitting him with moves and he just hit one back every time. Good way of avoiding a squash to make him look strong -Going to have to go and Google Ricky Fuji, as I've never come across him. I liked the way that promo opened -Tag match was chaos. An entertaining squash -Enjoyed the after match confrontation, and that they teased a fight, and then followed through with it -Fuji/Y2J seemed full of poses that didn't actually go anywhere. What I mean by that is some move sequences contained four or five pics, but the poses barely changed. Your posing needs to be spot on for move sequences (part of the reason why I don't do them) -Didn't really enjoy that match in the end to be honest. Awesome coming at the end was the highlight -Some nice poses in the Punk match. The Elite definitely helped -Crazy Suicide Dive! -The power outage was a bit abrupt. I thought the announcers could have made more of it, but it was a cool swerve -Very short closing segment, but it did the trick, and I look forward to seeing what you do with Sabu
A very entertaining show again, Brick, and it's good to see you're back on it after a month or two without a show. Most of the storylines have me hooked, there's just the Horsemen one that I'm not so keen on at the moment. Good work!

Brick, So here is the thing, I got told to check this fed out by someone on the board. (not saying who). Having done so here are my thoughts on BDW on TBS. Liked
Really neat intro video to the show Some nice crisp shots, 90% of your photos are spot on. the dialogue for Rey's intro was cool. Nice use of the Gangsta's (they are different from other feds so keep this going) I enjoyed the violent tag match between Mondo + Quick and the Gangsta's and a controversial moment with a stabbing at a live event! It's an edgy decision to have someone criminally assaulted in a live venu on tv! A gang warfare errupting on the fed, between Da Hood + Gangsta's it sets me back to my teens when i did a similar story co-op with a friend using GIJOEs! - are we about to see some 'dissing' promos by both factions? (i hope) maybe a rap battle? I liked the creation of the rogue horsemen, Very awesome! I've never seen a Ricky Fuji before! Nice work. I appreciated the mat wrestling between Fuji + Y2J and loved the Fuji Kamikaze poses really well executed! Aquaman makes an appearance on TV! (Make a sign for him saying I do not suck) Big Bang Theory reference Interesting finish in the Punk vs Noble with the lights going out, is this Bray Wyatt or Undertaker? I'm thinking Bray because he said Messiah but for some reason i kept getting ready to mark out for Raven making an appearance. Disliked
Some shots (about 10% were blurry) considering this it can be addressed and worked on. Summary
Overall, I really enjoyed this show! The arena has come on leaps and bounds and you have a very clear direction over where you want to take your federation, it's very violent and very gritty and edgy, not like a lot of the feds that tend to replicate current (PG) programming and i do sense there is a big fan in you for you really enjoying this type of [edgy] wrestling it definitely shows. I'll definitely check back on your next show, when will it be published? RAW
