This looks good, but I'm pretty partial to the set that I made out of old wrestling VHS tapes. The floor mat looks like it would bunch up pretty easily if you did anything but display it. You could go to Dollar General and get a floor mat in your choice of color that would achieve the same effect. Having said all that, I'd still like to have this - it's just not one of my highest priorities.

It depends on the price point, but I'll likely be getting the barricade. I'm torn on the floor mat.

I also used shoeboxes, styrofoam, gatorade bottles... anything I could wrap in aluminum foil and tape to other things. It's hella fun being creative with sets and your arena, so it's really weird after all these years we're getting actual sets like this. I would have never dreamed this when I was growing up. The barricade looks impressive! I don't think I have space for it to be out all the time, though. Consider it purchased, however. While I like custom arenas, I'm getting way too old to devote time to build this stuff on my own lol. Even if my VHS tapes from yesteryear are still in my closet  |
