With the recent 'Axelmania' angle, this has had me thinking back to other people who were never actually eliminated from the Rumble match: Scotty 2 Hotty in 2005, Spike Dudley and Test in 2004(You don't hear him complaining do ya? ) and also Mosh who holds the record, he's been in the 1999 Rumble match for the past 16 years according to Axel logic. A few minutes ago someone on Twitter brought to my attention that Chavo Guerrero was never eliminated from the Royal Rumble in 2006. At first I was confused by this, I distinctly remember Triple H eliminating him as he was perched on the ropes about to deliver a Frog Splash, what was this guy on about? Then it hit me: Chavo before climbing the turnbuckle, actually went through the second rope! Therefor when HHH pushed him to the outside, he was never officially eliminated. How crazy is that? Also while I'm on the subject, I'd like to put a long standing myth to rest... Attachment Deleted

The one I hate the most is Vader throwing Shawn over in 96 but them saying it didn't count.

Well, you're right about one thing - none of us will ever hear Test complaining about not being officially eliminated from the Rumble match.

Is this for real? It's not a mistake lol they obviously know, it's just a joke because it trended on Twitter so they turned it into an angle.

When chavo was eliminated he was pushed over the top turnbuckle/rope. How he got there doesn't matter. It counts.

To be eliminated you MUST go over the top rope. How is this so hard to understand? I know I'm going to regret getting involved in this.... I see your point, but when you scale the turnbuckle & stand on it - you are technically performing a legal move & therefore legally "back in the ring". That's why it's "not smart" in a Royal Rumble (or any other Battle Royal) to utilize top rope maneuvers - it's best to use a ground-based offense. Over the years, many commentators have pointed out that high flyers are at a disadvantage....

Anyone else remember that time Cena eliminated Alex Riley before he was meant to? Miz even began talking about how smart Riley was hiding in the ring when hed already been eliminated.

Yeah, that was great. They had no idea he was eliminated. Miz was talking about how great he was doing and then you can hear him or someone say "where is Riley?" Then they figured out he had been eliminated. Looked like Riley just fell, didn't hang on, when he was suppose to.

I think the real joke here is that Curtis Axel is still employed by the WWE to begin with!

Meh. They seem to change the rules every year when it comes to eliminations.
