sounds like someone is looking for attention and podcast downloads...hmmm Brian Beaker, who performed as Brandon Traven while signed to WWE developmental, commented today via Twitter about his letter to WWE's Canyon Cemen regarding his alleged treatment at the hands of Bill DeMott leaking yesterday. Traven commented, "I haven't said anything publicly on the issue regarding my name on certain things. However I will discuss it on my next podcast, which will drop Sunday March 8th. I never set out to seek attention positive or negative, the story was leaked by someone else. I was happy living my life being an Indy wrestler, having a podcast and spending time with my family which I had missed for 6 years. I've been getting a lot texts, messages calls etc. about my time with WWE when I was Brandon Traven...everything will be address (sic) on my own podcast so that you get the story from me and know one else. But know this, I leaked nothing it was sent out without my knowledge, I am not bitter. In fact I'm very happy with my life now, if you have listened to my podcast before you know I'm in a good place. But, what's out is out. And it will be addressed this Sunday."Why do we have to listen to your podcast for the "whole story" So you have time to prep and write it out so it sounds better? Why do I have to subscribe and listen to an indy wrestler's podcast...and indy wrestler I have never heard of in my entire life. Seriously how long was this guy even under WWE developmental? To be honest this whole thing sounds like a couple of bitter indy guys who couldn't cut it with the big boys and were released so they needed to go take it out on DeMott who, let's face it, is a hard-ass and probably pushes the limits. but then Tommy Dreamer commented: Tommy on his thoughts on the Bill DeMott accusations: "I ran the WWE developmental center, I ran OVW, and I ran Deep South. I like to say that wrestling training is different. When I was trained by Johnny Rodz, I was stretched in holds to the point of crying. I remember sometimes driving back on the BQE, and my hands were literally shaking, because I was stretched. I was pushed to a peak physically. With that being said, that is training. I think there could be some merit, but it doesn’t help that these accusations are coming from ex-talent. Because then it looks like its sour grapes. It would have to come from someone, and no one would speak up, if they are current talent or just walked away. I walked away from the WWE because I was not happy. I was not happy, not happy because of something that anybody did to me. I just wasn’t happy at my job, so then I walked away.
Training is hard. This business is very, very hard. I have my own wrestling school. I don’t believe in going in and beating people up, but Bubba Ray and Lance Storm have schools as well, and they will look at it and say “if some of these people were actually in a real fight, or beat up, they would learn how to sell.”When I was there, I had one problem with the WWE developmental center. I went down there and kicked everyone out. I said “guys, gals, I hired each and every one of you. I need to know if something is wrong so I can fix if for you. If you don’t want to tell me, you can tell me privately.” I handed every single one of them, all sixty of them clipboards with my hotel and you can meet me privately. Not one person stepped up. If there was a problem I had with Bill DeMott, or any of my trainers, I would go to my boss, who would then go to Vince McMahon. When I did have a problem with Bill, I said let’s put a video camera in there. They said “ok, no problem.” I never had a problem with Bill personally or professionally, and I do think he is a good trainer. Not all coaches like their players. I’ve seen on Twitter people stick up for Bill, and I have seen people not stick up for Bill. Everybody’s situation is different. If there were homophobic slurs, then yes that has to be addressed. I know that when he worked for me, everything that I asked, he did. I had a problem where someone brought up racism. I said “hey let me hear it”. Then no one said anything. I was willing to help you. There were no ramifications, no ramifications whatsoever. Let me cure this problem, then there would have been no problems."You can make the argument that Dreamer wouldn't throw his fellow peer under the bus but just as much as he wouldn't do that, it's as likely these other 2 jabroni's are over-selling their ends of the story to make sure they get more attention and sympathy in an effort to get back at DeMott for "being mean" to them.

Of course Tommy Dreamer and Chris Jericho are going to back up Bill DeMott, but that's really not the issue because neither of the guys who back up DeMott have actually been trained by him. EC3 and Joey Ryan were both being trained by DeMott and left the WWE because of him, so it's not all sour grapes here.

Well if the entire class would just file complaints on a daily basis when these things happen, Triple H could see it and handle it properly. What do you expect though, Bill was trained by the worse trainers ever one of them was Sarge from WCW, he is legit insane. He nearly killed some students in training. This hard training style should be done away with. It's not 1950 anymore and I believe if you provided proper training with explanation and it would cut down on injuries and dramatic problems.

I read what Dreamer said, and he does make a point, if no one's willing to step and say hey I got a problem that I feel should be addressed, then the problem will keep continuing. Another point that Dreamer made that made me kind of agree is that the accusations does sound like sour grapes coming from ex-developmental guys instead of the current guys, which goes back to if no one that is currently there will step up and explain the problem to the higher ups, then the problem will continue. I could understand why no one's stepping up, maybe it's fear of being treated differently but I still believe a lot of them should step up.

Either WWE is super insane for keeping Demott around and allowing him to train or these indy and former NXT stars are super insane for banding together to make these false allegations. If I had to pick, I'd say it was the first thing I said and WWE is super insane.

And to add to that, if what he claims happened after he sent the letter is true, no wonder no one else has spoken up while employed; they probably saw what happened to him, and that just confirmed that it would be fruitless and detrimental to them and their careers to do what he did. www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/2y1pgb/he_had_a_gun_in_his_desk_former_nxt_judas_draven/

He said DeMott found out about it and made his last month hell. Reportedly, Bill keeps a gun in his desk and he feared for his life.

Probably because they don't wanna lose there jobs. There development guys your opinion doesn't matter sadly. You go and train and then when they like what they see they bring you up.Unless someone Like a cena wrestler step up the problem will never be solved.

I'd be scared too if I knew he had a gun. I think, if I remember correctly, only a few of the guys had seen it, but I'm sure if it's true word got around. Also, I read the only person who stood up about mistreatment in front of everybody, was Paige, but was against sexual harassment from the strength coach.

Hey, Breaker's not that bad of a guy! Though, this pushing the "real" story for podcasts downloads is a pretty douchey move, dude did have a Noah tour. Dreamer did back up what I said the other day about all of this stuff seeming like sour grapes. Obviously, DeMott crossed the line at one point, and he was fired for it. But since he was let go the first time (which was mainly for turning the cameras off) he's been back for years now and everything since has been videotaped. However, I fully expect DeMott to be let go when the crew gets back from the house shows. With Tough Enough coming back, having this situation hanging over their heads while they try to promote the new show, (which as head trainer, DeMott would be all over) I think letting him go would be the smartest thing to do. Obviously, this is where hiring Holly for the position seems like a no brainer if DeMott is in fact let go. And honestly, the only fireable offense that I see is the gay slur thing. These kids need to have someone constantly questioning their heart and desire when they're injured. Getting paid $1500 a week to train and having the ability to sit out whenever they have a sore knee only hurts them. They need to be psychically and mentally be broken down and pushed in order to be ready for the psychological and physical grind that they'll go through being on the road 200 plus days a year. But like I said, calling someone gay because they've got a weak will doesn't exactly sound like something a good coach should do. Questioning them? Mentally pushing them almost to the breaking point? That's exactly what a head coach should do. Let Keirn and Steamboat be understanding and insightful, let Billy Gunn explain the finer points of working the hard camera and cracking some jokes while at it, but who ever the head coach is need to be a hard ass.

And what does training with injuries and being an bunghole do? Why would u risk further injury by working with one? Ever see football? How many players sit out a day or two bc they are injured.. You can learn just as much by watching a class as you can by being in the ring. Being a hard ass gets U no where. I've been there and done it. The bigger prick you are the one the students don't care and get broken down. There is also a difference between hard ass and bunghole. Makinf someone run the ropes and do drop downs for thirty minutes or until they wanna throw up is being a hard ass, not kicking the rope or calling people fags.

If I where Wwe with this, I'd keep Demott for tough enough so the whole world who watch would see what kind of trainer he is. They can edit the footage (if he does something as) and portray him as a good coach. I doubt he gunna get fired.

You were wrong when you first suggested it, and you're wrong now. The second guy who went public wrote to HR while he was employed. Everyone else just backed what he and Judas said. Dreamer is literally the only person backing the source grapes angle. Even Jericho didn't deny it.
