So WWE put together another 5 Things Video (http://www.wwe.com/videos/5-wwe-myths-busted-5-things-27166091).
I must say I remember hearing rumors that GTV was originally going to be a segue for Tom Green to enter the WWF. I thought it was a more outlandish rumor, and that Goldust would be behind GTV.
My only beef is the Ultimate Warrior Myth. WWE is attempting to re-write history that it already cleared up. The myth of Ultimate Warrior's death didn't occur because Hogan brought in the Renegade. It occurred back when Hogan was still in the WWF, and Warrior made his surprise return looking dramatically different at Wrestlemania 8. The funny part is, the video plays it off as saying "We have no idea where the two ultimate warrior rumor came about" yet in an article in 2013 (http://www.wwe.com/classics/classic-lists/8-wwe-urban-legends/page-8), the WWE clearly says:
So in 2013, the rumor was admitted to come about because of Ultimate Warrior's return at Wrestlemania VIII. In 2015, WWE says its probably because of Renegade's debut in WCW in 1995. Yeah. No.

I only heard the "we don't even know how that rumor started" line after the Hardcore belt segment, not the Warrior one. Maybe I just didn't catch it. I do agree though that WWE has stated the WM8 thing before so it's ridiculous to turn around and say it was the Renegade. That was either careless or maybe they wanted to avoid talking about any kind of change in Warriors overall appearance since he passed away?
I like this kind of stuff. Although I still question that Hardcore Title one. "We looked into it" isn't exactly confirmation for me but then I guess it would have been a long time to keep the title stored with no idea what you were ever going to do with it. Meh. Conspiracy theories are more fun when you think they're true.
Harley Race. The King.

I still think the Hardcore title is the old WWF title, but on the other hand, why would WWE feel the need to lie about it? Like, they have nothing to gain or lose at all...

I can just give a rundown.
5 Myths:
1. Who was behind GTV? = According to Vince Russo, he would have wanted to have Tom Green appear as the man behind the camera. 2. Was the Hardcore Belt the one Mr. Perfect destroyed? = No. 3. Did we have two Ultimate Warriors = According to video, rumor came about when WCW introduced Renegade. According to prior WWE.com articles, it came about when Warrior returned at Wrestlemania VII. Regardless, no we did not. 4. Harley Race was the first to bodyslam Andre the Giant. Hogan slammed Andre the Giant well before their Wrestlemania encounter too. 5. Jindrack was supposed to be the fourth member of Evolution.

I still think the Hardcore title is the old WWF title, but on the other hand, why would WWE feel the need to lie about it? Like, they have nothing to gain or lose at all... The smashed WWF title has turned up with belt collectors, thanks to either Howard Finkel or Mark Yeaton (can't remember who) saving as many pieces as they could pick up and selling it years later. It might be an old reused belt, but it's not the famous smashed belt.

Tom Green would have been horrible as G-TV. I have no problem with him, but there would have been no pay off.
I remember as a kid constantly telling people that the Warrior did not pass and that it was still the same guy. Renegade was still the worse thing ever.
"Jindrax the Disappointment" would have been okay in Evolution, but not nearly as great as Batista was.

If I'm not mistaken Goldust said in his book he was supposed to be behind GTV but left the company before it could be revealed.

Jindrak in Evolution? This. He could have worked out but having no muscle to the group would have made it odd in my opinion. Jindrack, Palumbo, and O'Haire should have been left alone as a stable after the Invasion. The Natural Born Thrillers were one of the best things about WCW in the dying years.

5 Myths: 2. Was the Hardcore Belt the one Mr. Perfect destroyed? = No. Well this just shattered one belief that I've held for many, many years.
