This is my first time posting text results. I know there is no real commentary text, it's because i need to plan ahead a little better. So here are my results. I will try to explain them with as much detail as possible. If they are too bad please don't bash me too bad because it's my first time trying this. Just give me some corrective help. Oh and by the way my show has been going on for a while so I am two shows away from our upcoming PPV, "WFE Lives On" So I'll do my best to describe the current events happening. I will be getting a web site soon!
[glow=red,2,300]WFE Overload-Mid South Coliseum in Memphis, TN[/glow]
Opening
The night started off with some huge pyro and a greeting from your announcers Mark Madden and Jim Ross. The crowd is then shocked when they heard the music of a true king! Jerry "The King" Lawler shocked the fans at the Mid South Coliseum and came down to the ring in his classic attire. Before he could even talk the crowd was on their feet chanting his name. Lawler wanted to let the fans know that he was ready to join the WFE broadcast team after he signed a contract with WFE. He also said that he wanted to break some of his ring rust and have a one on one match with any superstar next week! King then took his seat next to Jim Ross and Mark Madden. JR was more excited than ever to hand King his headset.
In the Ring
We were then joined by our GM of RAW, Stone Cold Steve Austin. On the last show, Austin said that he was ready to lace up the boots again after her shoulder injury several months ago. So he then said it was time to chose a new General Manager for RAW! So Austin told the fans that he has narrowed it down to three men to become General Manager. And those three were Eric Bischoff, Theodore Long, and Paul Heyman. Austin said that it was such a hard decision that he couldn't chose one. So he decided to make a match for later on. Each candidate would chose a superstar to represent them in a Triple Threat Match later on tonight!
Scott Steiner & HBK vs JBL & Chris Masters
After Austin announced the 6 Man Tag Match at Lives On which would show Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, and Scott Steiner facing John Bradshaw Layfield, Muhammad Hassan, and Chris masters, he decided to schedule a normal Tag Match for tonight. The match started off with Big Papa pump working on the left arm of Chris Masters. Since both of these two are very built, neither man wanted to lose that advantage. The match continued with a series of knee smashes from The Masterpiece. Masters then got the tag to JBL, who continued to work out the knee of Steiner. After several more back and forth tags between JBL and Masters, Steiner was finally able to apply a Belly To Belly Suplex on JBL and get a hot tag into The Heart Break Kid! HBK came in and cleared house of Masters and JBL. As HBK was going to nail the Sweet Chin Music, Masters ducked. But HBK used his smart thinking and did a quick turn and nailed the Sweet Chin Music! HBK then covered Masters as Steiner kept JBL out of the ring. HBK scored the pin fall and the win in a great opening contest!
Backstage
Eric Bischoff was shown backstage with Tomko. Bischoff told Tomko that he needed somebody that was a man beast power house. He then bribed Tomko by offering him a title shot at Batista the week after Lives On if Tomko can win the Triple Threat Match for him. Tomko accepted the offer and Bischoff walked away with a huge grin on his face.
In the Ring
We were then joined by Muhammad Hassan. Who said that the reason Bret Hart didn't show up tonight was because he was afraid. He was afraid that he would get humiliated just like he was last week when Hassan and JBL defeated Hart and HBK. As the crowd booed, Hassan said that next week he would make sure that Hart will get embarrased and humiliated in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! The place that The Hitman hates the most. Hassan then left the ring as the crowd awaited the next match.
Brock Lesnar vs PJ Polaco
Two shows from now at WFE Lives On, Brock Lesnar will go one on one with Kishi. Also at Lives on, PJ Polaco will face Sean Waltman in an I Quit Match! So now, Lesnar would face off against Polaco so they can both prepare for their matches at Lives On. The match started off with strong shoulder thrusts in the corner by Lesnar who was pounding away at the sternum of Polaco who was in serious pain already. Lesnar then applied several rib breakers to put Polaco in even more pain. But Polaco started to fight back with some left and rights of his own! Polaco then nailed a huge super kick right to the jaw of Lesnar which kept Lesnar motionless for a while. As both started to regain their stamina, Kishi came out of nowhere and Kishi Kicked Lesnar. The referee then called for the bell while Kishi continued to stomp a mud hole into Lesnar. Until Sean Waltman made his way down to the ring with a steel chair and cleaned house! Waltman then helped Lesnar up. A match was then announced for Overload's next show. Lesnar will team with Waltman to face Kishi and Polaco!
There was a promo for the main event. A Tag Team Table Elimination match for the WFE Tag Team Titles between The Dudley Boyz and La Resistance!
Interview with Terry Funk
As Don West was interviewing Terry Funk on his return to WFE on our last show and winning the WFE Hardcore Title, Funk was interrupted by Paul Heyman! Heyman asked Funk to represent him later on in the Triple Threat Match! Heyman also said that he wasn't going to bribe Funk with title shots or anything. Funk then accepted and said he would represent ECW for everything he is worth. The crowd then chanted ECW! ECW! ECW!
Booker T & Jamie Noble vs Chris Benoit & Jeff Hardy
After Booker T won a 10 Man Over The Top Battle Royal last week to become the first ever WFE World Class Champion, he was now in action teaming with the recently signed Jamie Noble to face the WFE Intercontinental Champ Chris Benoit and Jeff Hardy. The match started with Noble giving stiff right hands to the face of Hardy. But the Charismatic Enigma started to fight back. Hardy then nailed a devastating suplex on Noble to the outside of the ring. After both Booker and Benoit came to check out Noble, Hardy ran and leaped over the top rope taking out everyone including his tag team partner! Once all four superstars began to regain their stamina, Noble Irish whipped Benoit into the steel steps. When Hardy got back in the ring, he was left all by himself to fight off Noble and Booker T. As soon as Benoit got back in the ring, he grabbed a chair, which was not common for Benoit to do. Jeff Hardy grabbed his shoulder to try to convince him not to use the chair, but Benoit turned around and clocked Hardy. While in the ring, Booker turned on Noble and gave him a scissor kick! Stone cold then came out and said that the four of them could settle this at Lives On! It will be a Fatal 4 Way Double Pinfall match for both the Intercontinental and World Class Titles!
Batista & Rhino vs Kurt Angle & Snitsky
At Lives On, Batista is scheduled to face Kurt Angle in the main event in a Submission Match for the WFE Heavyweight Title. At both the last two paper views, Angle has been unable to defeat the 6th month reigning champion. But now the match will be more in Angle's favor. So Austin booked a Tag match for tonight and then announced that on our next show, Rhino will face Snitsky in a Steel Cage Match! The match started out with Batista and Snitsky exchanging lefts and rights. Snitsky was able to get the advantage after a cheap shot to the stomach. Snitsky delivered thunderous blows to the back of the head and shoulders. After a tag to Angle, Angle went right to work on Batista's ankle, trying to soften him up for their match at Lives On. Angle slapped on the Ankle Lock, but Batista was able to roll out and get a hot tag to The Man Beast Rhino! Rhino immediately took out Angle and went straight for Snitsky. After Angle botched an Angle Slam, Batista nailed a spine buster and Batista Bomb while Rhino Gored the hell out of Snitsky! Batista and Rhino then made a double pin and scored the victory!
An interview with Tomko and Bischoff was shown
Tomko(Bischoff) vs Terry Funk(Heyman) vs DDP(Long)-Triple Threat Match
Austin first came out and announced this match a No Holds Bard Match! The match started out with Tomko and DDP double teaming Funk. They got Funk down in the corner and took turns giving funk some running knees to the face. At this point, Funk was in more pain than ever as he was busted open from the knees to his face. Tomko then turned on Page and tossed him over the top rope. Tomko then rammed Page into the security barricade. Bischoff then handed Tomko the Ring Bell and held Page for Tomko to hit. Page ducked, as well as Bischoff did, and Tomko nailed the time keeper right in the face! Funk then made his way around to where the action was, and delivered thunderous chair shots to both Tomko and Page. As the action spilled back into the ring, Tomko nailed a big boot to the face of Funk and Page. Tomko the used the ropes to finish off DDP for the victory and awarded Bischoff as GM! Austin came down to the ring. He congratulated Bischoff, and then gave Bischoff and Tomko Stunners! Austin then enjoyed a nice cold beer with Heyman, Long, Funk, and DDP!
The Dudley Boyz were shown grabbing tables that had Sylvain and Conway's names spray painted on them.
The Dudley Boyz vs La Resistance-Tag Team Table Elimination Match for the Tag Team Titles
All four competitors in this match have been in WFE since the beginning. Even though Buh Buh & D'Von have split up and reunited several times, they are still one of the most dominate tag teams in WFE and in wrestling in general! Buh Buh and D'Von started off taking strong blows to the face of Conway, while tossing Sylvain over the top rope. While The Dudleyz double teamed Conway, Sylvain set up the first table with his own name on it. As he got back into the ring. Only to get tossed back over the top rope on the other side of the ring. But after Buh Buh turned around, Conway hit a viscous DDT. D'von went to the outside to fight Sylvain, but Sylvain delivered a cheap low blow to D'von. In the ring, Buh Buh regained advantage over Conway and was able to power bomb him to the outside through the table! So now it was up to Sylvain to win the Tag Titles! D'von was able to through Sylvain back in the ring. Buh Buh then told D'Von his famous line, "D'VON! GET THE TABLES!" But as D'Von went to set one up, Rene Dupree came out of nowhere and delivered a steel chair to the back for D'Von. Sylvain then countered the Buh Buh Bomb with kick to the groin. Rene shoved D'Von Back in the ring. Sylvain & Rene then delivered a double power bomb on D'Von through the table! The ref then forced Dupree to head to the back, leaving it Buh Buh Ray VS Sylvain. Sylvain immediatly set up a table in the ring. But as he turned around, Buh Buh was up & D'Von was back in the ring as well! The Dudley Boyz then nailed a 3D on Sylvain through the table to retain the WFE Tag Team Titles! Buh Buh & D'Von started an "Eddie" chant and the crowd in Memphis joined in as WFE Overload went off the air!
